I made a stop at Holy Cow Ice Cream to treat myself with a refreshing Italian ice. I don't know how this place is during the day, but it's a bit of a chill vibe at the moment. R&B and hip hop music were playing while kids were playing video games in the game zone area, and other patrons enjoyed their cool treats. I greeted a nice female employee and asked for a small Italian ice with the following flavors - strawberry lemonade and tropical breeze. I sat at an available table to enjoy my refreshing treat while watching a fighting event on the flat screen tv at the bar area. Not only can you enjoy cool treats such as ice cream, gelati, milkshakes, and banana split; but you can also enjoy their food menu with various bar bites such as pizza, burgers, wings, and much more.
This place was actually pretty good. We had a 3 scoop ice cream which was really good we had the banana pudding, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and a caramel heath flavor with a waffle cone on a cup. Service was great they gave us sample before we ordered the shakes were tempting but we decided to share. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and are craving something sweet.

What a great place for parents and kids to hang out! I went alone in search of a milkshake. They had run out of Mint Chocolate Chip (my fave), but they let me taste the Carrot Cake ice cream. It was heavenly, and it went perfectly in a milkshake. I requested whipped cream this time, but I didn't enjoy that because it left a thick, unpleasant film in my mouth. They really should just use regular heavy whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla. I was served by a young, tall gentleman with curly hair. He was friendly and helpful. Overall, I would love to return to try the Mint Chocolate Chip.

I used to buy my ice cream from the grocery store but with Holy Cow only being a 5 minute drive away, there's zero chance I'm spending my money on a mid product EVER AGAIN. I've gone several times before finally deciding on writing a review and there's a reason why I'm a repeat customer. Their ice cream selection is incredible and I absolutely love the fact that I can get carnival food without having to go to an actual carnival. Their funnel cake sundae was FIRE and as I've mentioned earlier, their cookie butter flavor is amazing. I will say, their attentiveness can use a little bit of help. A couple of times I went, I was left in the dining room alone and I've also had to wait for a service for a little bit. Nothing too taxing or that would take away from my overall experience, just something I felt could definitely made this place even better. All in all, I'm so happy I googled "ice cream" in my area and this little gem popped up. Definitely stop by if you're in the area and get the COOKIE BUTTER ICE CREAM.
Menu says a single dip of ice cream is $5.35. I order coconut ice cream on a sugar cone with chocolate sprinkles and it's $8.40, they charge you for a standard cone and and another dollar for a few sprinkles. Not worth the money.
Loved it. The ambiance was fun upon first impression. Staff dressed in Halloween costumes, DJ playing music and food trucks in the parking lot. Apparently looks like there was an adult area with drinks too. We wanted a late night dessert treat and this place was near the area I was in. Got 2 shakes (strawberry shake and vanilla shake) and an order of fried Oreos. We had to wait but enjoyed it people watching while they were dancing and having fun.

The cookies and cream milkshake was more than I imagined; it was soooo pretty. Not too sweet, I loved the different textures throughout the shake. The fried Oreos, the cookies, the candy, everything was spot on. This place reminds me of all of the things you can find at a local fair. I am so glad I finally came here, 10/10, definitely recommend.

I went with my daughter and her friend, the service was not very good, the waitress seemed bored and was not very helpful. My daughter opted for the "cookie vs brownie" ice cream in a waffle cone covered in chocolate $7.49 and her friend opted for the Italian ice cream of "Pina colada" $3.95. The ice cream was very tasty, and I think the Italian ice too because she ate it all. The bathroom was out of order and there is only one for the size of the place.
I LOVE ice-cream! So, I'm very particular when it comes to checking out new spots. I can honestly say this is the BEST ice-cream spot I've ever visited! From the wide variety of menu offerings to the amazing customer service. I was thoroughly pleased during my first visit. The restaurant is clean an very inviting. It's a real VIBE! My daughter even enjoyed playing jumbo Connect Four as we were leaving. I look forward to returning (soon and often) to try the other flavors, including the infused treats.
Visited per a recommendation from a coworker and WOW! How did I not know about this place sooner? The location is spacious with lots of seating areas both indoors and outdoors. It's also kept very clean. We walked in and since they were a little busy it took a few moments to be greeted and served. However, once we were our milkshake was done quickly. A woman who I'm assuming was the owner/manager shared that on Saturdays they offer a DJ and food truck from 8 p.m. til midnight I believe. She was very friendly and definitely encouraged us to come back and check out Saturdays. The milkshake was DELICIOUS. I'm a huge Oreo lover and this shake hit the spot. It came with TWO fried orders stuck onto the straw. The shake was a great size to be shared. Being so close to home, we will definitely return.

The banana split was so good and you get to pick the ice cream. We got the split pretty fast which was great service and the ambiance was a whole vibe tbh. They have regular food and drinks. Definitely somewhere I'd come again with friends. read more

What a great visit. Youre able to try alot of the flavors. I got the rum and raisin as well as the banana bread. Both were delicious. The staff was great and super helpful. We were told they do karaoke on Friday nights ( 8-9 kids can sing) and a dj with different food trucks on Saturday nights. Theres a bar with different specials including $6 margaritas on Fridays. One of me and my boys favorite ice cream places. All ice cream is good, they have desserts for adults as well. I have not had a bad experience in service as of yet and I've been here numerous times. Atmosphere is great they have games inside and outside for the kids and adults to enjoy. TVs to watch the game and a DJ on Fridays. They also have different food trucks on weekend ls that pull up to order food and then go inside to get dessert. A+ on my end. read more

This place is as cute and has that nice ambiance down south typically has in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale here in margate. They're located right off of 441 and margate Blvd and trust me come with your sweet tooth. They have plenty of options to try from, even those with allergies will be able to find something for themselves! From the outside to the inside you will feel comfortable and find something to do before or after you enjoy your food. Their bathroom is even nice, clean and pleasantly comfortable. Those who work here are especially nice, and their service is genuine and they try to help you with all your needs, stop by and show this new spot some love! Holy Cow this place is moo-valis. First time trying this unique shop. Not just an ice-cream shop. The owners make their ice cream on premises. There is something for everyone's tastebud. I believe over 25 flavors. Along with Italian Ice that is infused with alcohol. I did see they have hot dogs, pizza, nachos, funnel cake, and fried oreos! That's right, no bull here! There is also air hockey, X Box and PS5 game play for your entertainment or your kids while you sit and sip champaign at the side bar. Yes, I am impressed and wish them much success. We went specifically looking for funnel cakes. We were able to get it and enjoyed it. We also got ice cream and enjoyed that as well. The service was friendly and it wasn't terribly busy, so we enjoyed sitting in for a bit and enjoyed eating our treats! read more

Finally got the opportunity to visit Holy Cow Ice Cream. This place was so bright you can not miss it. Inside was decorated so nicely-they had a swing which brought out my inner child. This place is is one stop shop-they have games, a bar and ice-cream and food. Don't forget to read the cheeky jokes on the wall. The service wasn't the fastest but we were patient. We ordered our ice cream and it was tasty! I got the cotton candy and I liked it. read more
What a lovely surprise! I'd been wanting to try this new place, but thought it might be too far away. So coming back from a recent trip to Coral Springs, I saw it was nearby. Little did I realize that someone had dropped the pin for their location miles north of their actual venue. Anyhow, we googled their address and found it not far away at all. There's plenty of free parking in the large lot out front. Inside is a combo of ice cream parlor and bar (!) plus a small game room area and even a few places for photo ops. And cute "cow" related signs. They have a lot of ice creams -- the most popular flavors are in the front display case, but you can ask for others (from the back), as well as Italian ices and gelati -- a combo of ices and soft serve. In addition, to desserts, they have some food -- including a very good hotdog -- which we had to try. I was able to sample several different ices. I started out wanting watermelon and instead got green apple -- which was perfectly refreshing! They have a full bar, too, for those wanting an alcoholic beverage -- while the kids are enjoying their ice cream. They aren't that busy during the day right now -- more so on evenings and weekends. But they are just getting discovered (they are located just north of the thrift store). And I'm predicting they will be very popular. read more
Here is my tail of a cute new ice cream place that opened in the plaza by Town Hall. It was created by two friends, Efrem Knight and Thomas Brooks who asked their kids what kind of business they wanted. Their answer? Ice cream! Holy Cow sells ice cream and Italian ice made in house along with shakes, pizza, and funnel cake. I tried the Oreo heath ice cream. It was alright. I have been spoiled by the gourmet ice cream at Let's Chill in Coral Springs. I'm sure kids will love it, especially the colorful Superman. What Holy Cow excels at is the family fun atmosphere with games including x box. They plan on having a DJ at night. The lounge vibe makes this a nice place to take the family for a treat. There isn't any place like this in downtown Margate so Holy Cow is a welcome addition. The kids will be udderly happy you took them here. read more

My family and I were in town for the week and we were looking for a good ice cream spot. We came across this place online and it did not disappoint! My daughter loved their strawberry cheesecake ice cream so much, we ended up coming back before our vacation was over. We also tried their cookies and cream milkshake, Reese's milkshake, and various ice cream flavors. My favorite was the Cookie Monster and the cookies vs brownie. The staff were very friendly and the music was great. The arcade games didn't seem to work but my kids were able to play air hockey while they waited on the milkshakes. If we are ever back in town, we will definitely be back! read more

This placed popped up on my instagram feed saying they were going to have a food truck out front. Sooo I decided to stop on by. I came in after ordering my food to get a scoop of ice cream for dessert. The people working here are extremely friendly. I asked to try the banana pudding flavor and liked it. So I ordered 2 one scoop cups with no toppings. The menu says 1 scoop is 4.95 but somehow my total came to 12 dollars. I'll have to pay better attention to what I'm being charged for next time. On this day they had a dj out playing music. People were sitting around enjoying themselves. All in all I will come out again. read more
