This was one of our favorite ice cream places. The owner was very nice and informative, telling us all about the process he uses to hand-make the ice cream. The ice cream bursts with flavor and he has a variety of interesting flavors. Then there a ton of toppings to choose from as well as several speciality cups. My son got the Better Batter Cake Carnival, and I got a cup of vanilla with kitkat and sprinkles. He mashed up the kitkat in the ice cream and then topped it with my sprinkers. Both our ice creams were really good! 5 out of 5!

The Magic Cow has amazing ice cream!!! The owner is from Scotland and makes some flavors from his childhood. Today I had Lavender Rose. It was sweet and creamy with a hint of rose and lavender. The Key limes was the best that I've ever had. One of my favorites is their Parm Violet. The owner's personality is charismatic and contagious. You can't help but get excited about the ice cream. He encourages you to try several samples. It's really fun being that I am an ice cream fanatic.

Small ice cream shop located in a strip mall - this is one of their two locations (other is in Davie). Comparing this location to Davie, it is definitely not as busy but it is just as good. I think the young lady we ordered from was still training so we didn't get our moo when we tipped . Kids shared one of the peanut butter flavored special combinations (crunch bars, buttercups) but they had just sold out of the buttercups on the prior order so we were able to sub butterfingers instead. Kids were happy with their ice cream - I snagged a spoon and loved the texture but found it way too sweet. My father ordered a small coconut ice cream which he loved. The setting is cozy and it's fun to read the notes from customers on the wall (this location doesn't have nearly as many as the Davie location - it really is a spectacle to see). The owner clearly supports other small businesses as he allows other companies to leave their business cards on their counter. Definitely a place to try if you're looking for delicious homemade ice cream at a small local establishment.

Tried The Magic Cow for the first time tonight and had non dairy ice cream, we both agree... it was delicious. Would definitely come back here again!! Also, be sure to leave a tip, so they will ring the bell & moooo... lol

The name says it all! Magic! I am more of a soft, serve ice cream, kind of girl or yogurt, but this place is phenomenal! When I first walked in, I was a little skeptical because of the way it looked inside, but this is the best ice cream I've ever tasted in my whole entire life. I'm absolutely obsessed and the owner and the girl who was working the night I went are so nice. Just go don't think about it twice you have to try this ice cream. - I had the lavender rose ice cream 10/10!

Super cute mom and pop ice cream spot in Coral Springs. They have ice cream, sundaes, smoothies, cakes and drinks. I had an ice cream sundae. You get to choose your toppings size, ice cream scoops etc. Indoor and outdoor seating options and plenty of parking. It was a little busy when we went in but worth the wait. Definitely check this spot out. I'll be back for certain.

Holly cow, it's the Magic Cow! Not only will the treats pique your curiosity, but if you have the pleasure of checking out with the owner, ask him to moo at you. You will be thinking he was milking a cow in the back room. He really did sound like a cow! My two friends and I came here for dessert. Some flavors are expected and others are so different that the owner requests that you have a sample.

Love magic cow. Small family owned business that puts the effort into their ice cream. They have some really fun flavors like carrot cake, grape nut (the cereal), and lavender rose. Everything is yummy! The staff is always friendly. If you're in the coral springs area, definitely stop by.

The ice cream is extremely delicious! I can savor every single bite. It is truly quality ice cream. The man who runs the shop has a really friendly voice and a super cool scottish accent! The store has some nice decorations like The Magic Cow ambient sign! Overall, a very nice establishment.

Pure sugar chaos, childhood nostalgia, and theatrical madness in Coral Springs…read more Walking into Cherry Smash feels like you accidentally stepped into the opening scene of Willy Wonka, right before someone starts singing and a child learns a moral lesson. This place is a local legend, and for good reason. Cherry Smash isn't trying to be sleek, minimalist, or Instagram-neutral. It's loud, colorful, joyful, and slightly unhinged--in the way candy shops should be. You half expect Charlie Bucket to walk in clutching a chocolate bar and a dream. Let's be honest about the ice cream: It's above average. Solid. Creamy. Well executed. No complaints. But that's not why people line up. You come here for the atmosphere. Walls stacked with candy. Colors everywhere. The kind of visual overload that makes adults nostalgic and kids vibrate at unsafe frequencies. And when Halloween hits? Forget it. Cherry Smash decorates like they take October personally. Seasonal commitment at Broadway-production levels. The candy selection is elite--classic, modern, obscure, and delightfully questionable. Yes, they have bubble gum cigarettes, which feel like a time capsule from an era when adults shrugged and said, "Eh, they'll be fine." It's kitschy, it's ridiculous, and it absolutely belongs here. Seating is limited, but honestly? That's part of the charm. This isn't a linger-for-hours café. It's a pop-in, light-up-your-inner-child, grab-something-sweet-and-go experience. The kind of place where standing is acceptable because you're too busy smiling anyway. Cherry Smash isn't just an ice cream shop--it's a mood, a memory, and a permission slip to enjoy something unapologetically fun in a world that desperately needs more of that.

You have the option to order at the window outside, or, go into the shop to order. The moment you walk in, it very very overwhelming. Tons of trinkets, posters, colors, signs and memorabilia's and figurines everywhere! The more you look, the more you'll see. Staff seemed like they were there just for their paychecks, and not really caring for the customer service or offering their opinion or recommendations, the night we visited there was a good amount of patrons. There's seating off the right side of the shop and a few towards the back. They have a very wide selection of ice cream flavors. I settled for a dulce deleche, and it was just ok. We ordered that, and I took some pictures and left. The interior was too much for me, personally. Way too much going on.

The place is bright, airy, spotless, and instantly puts you in a better mood, which is dangerous when ice cream decisions need to be made responsibly. Now let's talk about the service. Second to none. Olympic-level. Borderline aggressive generosity. The guy helping us (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, Ice Cream Sensei ) kept offering samples like he was personally offended by the idea that I hadn't tried every flavor yet. I'm pretty sure I consumed the equivalent of a medium cup in samples alone, and he was still like, "You sure? One more?" And here's the thing. The recommendations were spot on. You can tell this dude is genuinely passionate about the in-house made ice cream. These flavors are thoughtfully crafted, smooth, balanced, and most importantly, no weird artificial colors or chemical nonsense. If the ice cream world had a clean ingredients hall of fame, this place would have its own wing. After tasting my way through half the menu, I completely understand why this is the top-rated ice cream shop in Florida and somehow also gunning for the top spot in the entire country. Ambitious? Yes. Earned? Also yes. Do yourself a favor. Go chill at Let's Chill, eat irresponsibly, and then rate them high because they deserve it, and because you'll feel guilty if you don't after all those samples.

But... Nothing here jumped out at us... * The lavender honey made Spensyr smile but neither flavor was very pronounced. * The guava was good but again, very light on the guava flavor and none of the sweet funkiness you expect with guava. * The lime basil sorbet was full of lime, but neither of us could detect an odor or taste of basil. * The caramel crunch was fine. Maybe there aren't a lot of ice cream shops in Coral Springs and so this has become the go-to spot, it's obviously better than supermarket ice cream, but I can't see it as a destination.

Frozen custard is what happens when ice cream decides to get serious about its career…read more That was the mood at Whit's Frozen Custard in Coral Springs when my wife and I stopped in and both landed on the blackberry chip flavor of the day. I went with a cup, she chose the waffle cone, which turned out to be the smarter move because that crisp cone with the rich custard was a perfect combo. The first thing that stands out is the texture. This stuff is dense, rich, and incredibly full. Every bite feels smooth and substantial, the kind of frozen dessert that makes regular ice cream seem like it's just winging it. It's deliciously refreshing, but it also has that heavy, creamy body that makes you slow down and actually enjoy it. The blackberry chip was very good, but if I'm being honest, I wanted the berry flavor to hit just a little louder. I've had blackberry ice cream before that really let the fruit sing, and this one felt a little more restrained. Still tasty, still refreshing, just missing that extra berry punch that could have pushed it into five-star territory. Halfway through mine, I actually said, "This texture could make vanilla exciting." That's how good the custard base is here. I also got a taste of the cookies and cream, and that may have stolen a little bit of the spotlight. Creamy, balanced, and loaded with cookie flavor, it instantly became the one I'm eyeing for next time. The place itself is simple, which honestly works in its favor. No frills, no giant menu maze, just vanilla, chocolate, and two flavors of the day made fresh and rotated daily. Checking the calendar ahead of time almost becomes part of the ritual, like seeing what surprise is waiting for you. The staff was friendly, the whole stop was easy, and even with wanting a bit more berry flavor, this was still a really enjoyable dessert run. Easy four stars. Some places wow you with spectacle. Whit's Frozen Custard wins you over with texture, simplicity, and the kind of flavor lineup that gets you planning your next visit on the drive home.

Thanks to the reviewers, we made the right choice! However, I drove 2 businesses past the shop and had to back up a little to park haha, because the sign on the shop is simply "Bakery". The signage on the window is the only indicator that you found the right place. The shop is essentially a cake bakery on the left, ice cream shop on the right when you walk in. There is no room for seating, but there are 2 sets of tables and chairs outside. The gentleman who mans the shop (the only person who does so) had that dry humor that made him fun to speak to. I asked what the Superman ice cream flavor was, and he answered, "It's only for kids." He told us the Captain Rum Raisin was the product of him trying to make rum raisin with several different kinds of rum, and the feedback he received was that the one with Captain Morgan was the best, so he makes it with that now. I had to try it, then subsequently get a scoop of it. The Captain Rum Raisin had just the right amount of creaminess, raisin and sweet rum flavor. You can get half scoops of ice cream after 1 scoop, so I had a half scoop of Cookie Monster, which is cookies and cream ice cream with a refreshingly aggressive blue coloring. The owner told us to get the Cookie Monster in a cup rather than a cone since it will stain if it melts and drips. It definitely turned our tongues that exact blue color! The ice cream itself was delicious as well, creamy, cookie tastic and not sugar loaded. You can only pay with cash or Zelle (if the owner likes you enough to tell you his number and name). This is so that the owner can avoid card transition device subscriptions and fees, and he can keep his prices low, which by the way, are definitely low for the quality of ice cream he offers! A scoop of ice cream starts in the $2 range! Bring your cash and pay him a fun, cool and delicious visit!

I was sad, and then we checked to find another ice cream place nearby for my daughter, and we found My Scoop Shop. I am never going back to the other place - everything about this place was perfect. Small-sized boutique ice cream shop sharing a space with a baker. You might have some trouble finding it, but once you're in, the vibe sets. The owner (I think his name was Scott) came out from the back and talked about the variety of flavors that he makes himself, including Superman and Cookie Monster, which he uses real raspberries in and adds organic blue food coloring to. He was extremely nice and made for good conversation. In the end, my partner and my daughter both had Cookie Monster in their cup, and she topped hers off with their Rum Raisin, while I had a Cookie Monster Milkshake. We all enjoyed our blue colored tongues afterwards, and we look forward to being able to do it again soon. Be advised - the shop is cash-only, but the owner does take Zelle payments now as well.

This franchise of Uncle Louie G's opened in April on Sample Rd in the same plaza as Runyon's. It is owned by Andrea Mormile and her sister, Denise from Brooklyn, New York. The sisters were inspired to open Uncle Louie G's when they couldn't find the kind of icy treats they grew up on. Uncle Louie G''s menu includes 47 flavors of Italian ice and 33 flavors of ice cream including vegan, dairy free, and sugar free. They also sell ice cream cakes, milkshakes, smoothies, ice coffees, Belgian waffle sundaes, and ice cream nachos. For quality control everything's made in Staten Island, New York. They use the best ingredients like real fruit for Italian ice instead of sugar and artificial flavoring. The premium ice cream is 14 percent butterfat and the cheesecake pieces are made from scratch. I had the pleasure of meeting Denise when I stopped in on a steamy Sunday afternoon. The Italian ice is displayed in the cases closer to the door while the ice cream is further down. Ice cream flavors included Louie Big Blue, Brooklyn Cheesecake, and Apple Pie while Italian ice flavors included Oreo cookie dough, chocolate jelly ring, cherry chip, and Italian Dream. I was in the mood for ice and I sampled the cannoli, honey doo, and spumoni. I ended up choosing the spumoni but they were all great. I was impressed with how spot on the flavors tasted. I am still thinking about the honey doo. Sizes come in Brooklyn small ($3.50), small ($4.00), medium ($6.00), and large ($8.00). You can also purchase pints, quarts, and party buckets. I love that they have unique flavors that not everyone else has. This is a welcome addition to Coral Springs as the scorching summer rolls in. Check them out and welcome them to the neighborhood.
