Super friendly owner and employees. Yummy ice cream. I frequently visit and service and quality never fails. 10/10 would recommend.

First time at this spot and we loved it! There are so many flavors to try. The shaved ice is light and refreshing but very flavorful. They offered us samples without us even asking. You can try any flavor before purchasing which is very nice for those who aren't sure what they want. Definitely coming back with my family and can't wait to enjoy these in the summer!

It was our first time here! I got the mangonada but there are plenty of flavors and options to choose from. They have both dairy and non-dairy as well as shaved ice. The person working the cashier was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We were also able to try multiple flavors, can't wait to go back and try others!

It's going to be a long hot summer and it is going to take a lot of frozen treats to make it through it. Cieladito's to the rescue. Located next door to La Union Mexican Bakery is this adorable Mexican ice cream shop. Cieladito's was opened in March 2020 by married couple Shane and Dulce Carter. Shane is a veteran and Dulce is from Veracruz Mexico. It was Dulce's dream to bring the frozen treats she grew up with to the Coral Springs community. All of the milk for the ice cream comes from a hormone free Florida dairy and all of the ingredients are high quality and locally sourced whenever possible. Expect to find Latin America flavors like flan, guava, and grape nut. Cieladito's delights include ice cream, popsicles, shaved ice, and frozen ices, along with Mexican candy and snacks. I thought I was going to order the Maria's cookies ice cream, made with Maria's cookies, a biscuit that was produced in 1874 by the London bakery Peek Freans in commemoration of Russia's Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna's marriage to the Duke of Edinburgh. The cookies are found throughout Latin America including most Mexican homes. In the end the Mangonada Nieves was just too interesting to pass up. Mango ice and chunks of mango fruit are layered with chamoy, a kind of savory sauce made from pickled fruit. The sour, sweet, and salty chamoy mixes with the sweetness of the mango for a super refreshing frozen treat unlike anything I have ever tasted before. The two ladies working were the absolute sweetest. If you don't know what something is feel free to inquire, they are more than happy to explain. I was asked if it was my first time and was greeted like a friend. One of the reasons I love living in South Florida is because we have so many different cultures coming together and they all have great food. Although I am well versed in Mexican paletas this was my first time trying chamoy. It is always fun to discover something new. I will definitely be back this summer to explore more of their delicious and reasonably priced menu items.

We saw Cieladitos on Facebook and thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did! We ordered a mangonada, a Nutella ice cream cone, a Nutella milkshake, and a coconut paleta, and each of us walked away thrilled with our choices. The mangolada was a perfect blend of sweet and tangy, bursting with authentic mango flavor. Knowing that their mangoes come straight from the owner's tree at home during mango season made it even more special. The Nutella ice cream cone and milkshake were rich and creamy, and the coconut paleta brought me back to my childhood days of waiting for the paletero to come by my neighborhood with his ice cream cart. What truly sets Cieladitos apart is the warm, welcoming atmosphere created by the owner, who made us feel like part of the family. We left not only satisfied but excited to return and explore more of their unique flavors.

A return visit has been long overdue. Cieladito's is as good as I remember and perhaps better. At this point, if I am in the area it is almost a must stop. Besides the fact that the ice cream and icees are excellent, it is family run, and they are great people! You can sit there and sample as much as you want all day long. However that doesn't help you pick because every flavor is amazing. This visit I settled on the rum raisin. Don't knock it until you tried it. These little guys were soaking in run so long my driving ability was likely questionable afterwards. Daughters had a Mexican ice with condensed milk drizzled on top, and a Mangonada which is mango ice with mango chunks and chamoy. Get here, often!

Best Horchata Milkshake ever. Dulce made this and she had great customer service! Will be coming back (:

This place is really good! Definitely recommend! Mangonadas are the perfect balance between sweet, and spicy. This Mexican ice cream will have you coming back for more

So I was craving raspados but I think the way people from Venezuela makes it different from the Mexican version which I don't like as much but i'm giving this place 4 stars for the service! They also have quite a but of dairy-free options which was a huge plus for me. I will definitely come back and try their ice cream next. Loved the hospitality!

Lina S.

This is hands down the best ice cream in town! I am obsessed with their passion fruit nieve and always ask to make it a "mangonada" so it has the mango and chamoy/tajin combo. Their mangonada of course is a staple and it's $5 on Mondays. The service is outstanding and it's good to know that this is a family owned and operated business. If you don't live in Coral Springs this is most definitely worth the drive. Easy parking. Staff is COVID conscious and wears masks/gloves.

Just moved to the area and I'm really glad I found this place. I tried the mangonada today. It's super yummy. The owner's so nice. We got veteran discount and free mini ice cream cone for the kid. Can't wait to come back to try different flavors next time!!!

Pure sugar chaos, childhood nostalgia, and theatrical madness in Coral Springs…read more Walking into Cherry Smash feels like you accidentally stepped into the opening scene of Willy Wonka, right before someone starts singing and a child learns a moral lesson. This place is a local legend, and for good reason. Cherry Smash isn't trying to be sleek, minimalist, or Instagram-neutral. It's loud, colorful, joyful, and slightly unhinged--in the way candy shops should be. You half expect Charlie Bucket to walk in clutching a chocolate bar and a dream. Let's be honest about the ice cream: It's above average. Solid. Creamy. Well executed. No complaints. But that's not why people line up. You come here for the atmosphere. Walls stacked with candy. Colors everywhere. The kind of visual overload that makes adults nostalgic and kids vibrate at unsafe frequencies. And when Halloween hits? Forget it. Cherry Smash decorates like they take October personally. Seasonal commitment at Broadway-production levels. The candy selection is elite--classic, modern, obscure, and delightfully questionable. Yes, they have bubble gum cigarettes, which feel like a time capsule from an era when adults shrugged and said, "Eh, they'll be fine." It's kitschy, it's ridiculous, and it absolutely belongs here. Seating is limited, but honestly? That's part of the charm. This isn't a linger-for-hours café. It's a pop-in, light-up-your-inner-child, grab-something-sweet-and-go experience. The kind of place where standing is acceptable because you're too busy smiling anyway. Cherry Smash isn't just an ice cream shop--it's a mood, a memory, and a permission slip to enjoy something unapologetically fun in a world that desperately needs more of that.

Staff seemed like they were there just for their paychecks, and not really caring for the customer service or offering their opinion or recommendations, the night we visited there was a good amount of patrons. There's seating off the right side of the shop and a few towards the back. They have a very wide selection of ice cream flavors. I settled for a dulce deleche, and it was just ok. We ordered that, and I took some pictures and left. The interior was too much for me, personally. Way too much going on.

The place is bright, airy, spotless, and instantly puts you in a better mood, which is dangerous when ice cream decisions need to be made responsibly. Now let's talk about the service. Second to none. Olympic-level. Borderline aggressive generosity. The guy helping us (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, Ice Cream Sensei ) kept offering samples like he was personally offended by the idea that I hadn't tried every flavor yet. I'm pretty sure I consumed the equivalent of a medium cup in samples alone, and he was still like, "You sure? One more?" And here's the thing. The recommendations were spot on. You can tell this dude is genuinely passionate about the in-house made ice cream. These flavors are thoughtfully crafted, smooth, balanced, and most importantly, no weird artificial colors or chemical nonsense. If the ice cream world had a clean ingredients hall of fame, this place would have its own wing. After tasting my way through half the menu, I completely understand why this is the top-rated ice cream shop in Florida and somehow also gunning for the top spot in the entire country. Ambitious? Yes. Earned? Also yes. Do yourself a favor. But... Nothing here jumped out at us... * The lavender honey made Spensyr smile but neither flavor was very pronounced. * The guava was good but again, very light on the guava flavor and none of the sweet funkiness you expect with guava. * The lime basil sorbet was full of lime, but neither of us could detect an odor or taste of basil. * The caramel crunch was fine. Maybe there aren't a lot of ice cream shops in Coral Springs and so this has become the go-to spot, it's obviously better than supermarket ice cream, but I can't see it as a destination.

The moment we walked in, I was hit with that nostalgic mix of sugar, laughter, and magic that says you're about to make a very good life decision. The owner greeted us like old friends -- warm, funny, and clearly passionate about what he does. You can tell every scoop that leaves that counter has been crafted with pride. Now, about the ice cream. I went with the Carrot Cake flavor -- and let me tell you, it wasn't just ice cream; it was an experience. Folded into it were ribbons of caramel and bits of pie crust that somehow made me rethink all my previous dessert choices in life. One bite in, and I'm pretty sure I saw colors brighter than usual. My wife went for a combo of Better Batter Cake Carnival and Chocolate Batter Better, and to call it "excellent" would be an understatement. This flavor pairing was pure joy in stereo. I'm pretty sure she stopped listening to me talk for a good five minutes, which is the ultimate compliment to any dessert. Bottom line: The Magic Cow isn't just living up to its reputation -- it's churning out happiness, one scoop at a time. If you haven't been, fix that immediately. Frozen custard is what happens when ice cream decides to get serious about its career…read more That was the mood at Whit's Frozen Custard in Coral Springs when my wife and I stopped in and both landed on the blackberry chip flavor of the day. I went with a cup, she chose the waffle cone, which turned out to be the smarter move because that crisp cone with the rich custard was a perfect combo. The first thing that stands out is the texture. This stuff is dense, rich, and incredibly full. Every bite feels smooth and substantial, the kind of frozen dessert that makes regular ice cream seem like it's just winging it. It's deliciously refreshing, but it also has that heavy, creamy body that makes you slow down and actually enjoy it. The blackberry chip was very good, but if I'm being honest, I wanted the berry flavor to hit just a little louder. I've had blackberry ice cream before that really let the fruit sing, and this one felt a little more restrained. Still tasty, still refreshing, just missing that extra berry punch that could have pushed it into five-star territory. Halfway through mine, I actually said, "This texture could make vanilla exciting." That's how good the custard base is here. I also got a taste of the cookies and cream, and that may have stolen a little bit of the spotlight. Creamy, balanced, and loaded with cookie flavor, it instantly became the one I'm eyeing for next time. The place itself is simple, which honestly works in its favor. No frills, no giant menu maze, just vanilla, chocolate, and two flavors of the day made fresh and rotated daily. Checking the calendar ahead of time almost becomes part of the ritual, like seeing what surprise is waiting for you. The staff was friendly, the whole stop was easy, and even with wanting a bit more berry flavor, this was still a really enjoyable dessert run. Easy four stars. Some places wow you with spectacle. Thanks to the reviewers, we made the right choice! However, I drove 2 businesses past the shop and had to back up a little to park haha, because the sign on the shop is simply "Bakery". The signage on the window is the only indicator that you found the right place. The shop is essentially a cake bakery on the left, ice cream shop on the right when you walk in. There is no room for seating, but there are 2 sets of tables and chairs outside. The gentleman who mans the shop (the only person who does so) had that dry humor that made him fun to speak to. I asked what the Superman ice cream flavor was, and he answered, "It's only for kids." He told us the Captain Rum Raisin was the product of him trying to make rum raisin with several different kinds of rum, and the feedback he received was that the one with Captain Morgan was the best, so he makes it with that now. I had to try it, then subsequently get a scoop of it. The Captain Rum Raisin had just the right amount of creaminess, raisin and sweet rum flavor. You can get half scoops of ice cream after 1 scoop, so I had a half scoop of Cookie Monster, which is cookies and cream ice cream with a refreshingly aggressive blue coloring. The owner told us to get the Cookie Monster in a cup rather than a cone since it will stain if it melts and drips. It definitely turned our tongues that exact blue color! The ice cream itself was delicious as well, creamy, cookie tastic and not sugar loaded. You can only pay with cash or Zelle (if the owner likes you enough to tell you his number and name). This is so that the owner can avoid card transition device subscriptions and fees, and he can keep his prices low, which by the way, are definitely low for the quality of ice cream he offers! He was extremely nice and made for good conversation. In the end, my partner and my daughter both had Cookie Monster in their cup, and she topped hers off with their Rum Raisin, while I had a Cookie Monster Milkshake. We all enjoyed our blue colored tongues afterwards, and we look forward to being able to do it again soon. Be advised - the shop is cash-only, but the owner does take Zelle payments now as well.
