To preface, we have never been here this is our first experience and it hasn't started off well. We came already knowing what we were going to order 100% in advance. They have a pop up on their homepage that literally says full menu available but surprise - only a limited Mother's Day extortion menu.. We came expecting things like chicken parm, a Caesar salad which salmon or even the smaller sized fillet. Flat out told us that the menu is subject to change then why have a pop up saying that? She finally finds something else that she likes on the menu a chimichurri steak and surprise - sold out but they only opened like not long before we got there. We ended up leaving and canceling our appetizer orders . . . Disappointed is an understatement!

Came here for dinner with friends and we were lucky enough to get a reservation for a table in the piano bar. Runyons has been around since 1984. They are located between Coral Springs Dr and University on Sample Road in Coral Springs. There are a couple of restaurants in this plaza but there's plenty of free parking. Entrance is through the patio. They are known for their 40 ounce Prime Rib. Unfortunately they don't offer anything smaller than 16 ounces and if you want to share that 40 ouncer it's an additional $13 which makes just shy of $100. Still not terrible for 2.5 lbs of beef. We had a great table right next to the fireplace and it was the perfect location to hear the music and still have a conversation. We started with Hummus and pita. This was a nice smooth creamy mix of chickpeas, tahini and a hint of garlic and lemon. My husband and I shared a chopped salad. A nice selection of lettuce with heirloom tomatoes, crisp bacon, and blue cheese. Sharing this was perfect since it's large. I had the Chicken Francaise. The Chicken was so tender and the lemony wine sauce was delicious. It came with fresh string beans and carrots and linguini. My husband had the Shrimp Scampi and the garlic butter made the dish. Such a nice evening. So unique. It was crowded, had really nice nostalgic vibe in a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The food was very good, but the pianist was the star of the evening.

Great food, great ambiance, and great staff. We have been going there for twenty years and it doesn't disappoint! The steaks are always cooked to perfection, and the onion soup is fabulous. Worth the trip!

So happy to find a great place in Coral Springs. We went to this place for happy hour--great times from 3-6, even on Saturday. Perfect parents' after-work getaway with lots of places to sit. The vibe and atmosphere are so nice, and they even had live music. Their martinis are amazing! I had the grapefruit and cucumber martinis--both tasted very good and were made with quality ingredients. I wasn't hungry, so I only had one item from the happy hour menu, the Prime Rib Sliders, which were so delicious. Our bartender, Ricco, was very nice and funny. This place has a great atmosphere, drinks, food, and service. It will definitely be my favorite place to come!

9/13/2025 Runyon's restaurant is a supporter of St. Patrick's Day (due to an owner having Irish heritage, I think). Sure it serves up the best steaks around but it also cooks three (3) St. Patrick's Day dishes in its annual "Half Way to St. Patrick's Day" celebration being held this year on a Saturday 9/13/2025 ... that's today. Corn Beef&Cabbage, Pot Pies, Irish Stew and Guinness stout beer. Always a fun time!

Last-minute birthday celebration with a reservation for three at 5:45 on a Saturday night. The restaurant was full and lively and decorated for Valentine's Day. We were seated quickly, and drinks were offered soon after. Hot bread was brought to the table. We ordered the chopped salad as an appetizer and asked that it be split three ways in the kitchen. It was the perfect size to start our meal. For entrées, two of us had the New York strip. We both agreed that it was cooked perfectly and the sides were just right. The third meal was the French onion soup with the crabcake appetizer. Both were absolutely delicious. Sheree was our server and could not have been nicer. She brought a slice of complimentary cheesecake for the birthday boy. We will absolutely be returning!

The food was good. We split the bone in prime rib and had the colossal shrimp as an appetizer. We really liked the atmosphere and the music was perfect for the setting. We would definitely be back. The only issue we had was the first table they sat us at. It was barely in the restaurant but lucky for us we spoke to the manager and he moved us to another table. My takeaway is not to come here on a busy occasion as they will try to squeeze as many seats in as they can.

I came here with my significant other to celebrate his birthday, being that he has been to this restaurant many times, and he raves about it. The hostess sat us at the piano with menus. For 20 plus minutes we did not get any attention from any staff. We decided to leave after seeing waiters interacting with other guests, and we did not get a measly "we'll be right with you" from any staff members. As we were pushing our chair back in, a waiter came over and asked, "Are we ready to eat?" I explained to him that we were sitting here and weren't acknowledged. As I was leaving, the owner spoke with me, and I let him know what occurred, and he was very apologetic about the situation. I expressed to him that it did look a certain way, being that we were the only African American guests in the piano room area that we could see, and we were not even acknowledged until we were leaving. The food smelled good in there, and I was excited to eat. I believe this may have been an isolated incident, but I was not pleased.

Nice touch to the specials menu for our anniversary!

The lamb and beef blend brought deep, rich flavor, the honey whipped goat cheese added a smooth tang, and the purple haze raspberry jam gave it just the right sweet edge. First off, parking was difficult because this establishment is near other highly frequented businesses. Once inside, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who immediately sat us at a table for two. The interior is small and intimate, which also meant very loud once it got crowded. After being seated, our water cups were quickly filled, and someone inquired if we wanted drinks. After we were approached twice, still unsure of what we wanted, we were then neglected for at least ten minutes. Our appetizers arrived and still no one had come to get our entree order. The menu is fairly small, and the items are quite pricey. You know what else was small? The drinks! For $18 I want to hold a drink that fills my hand. Was it good, yeah; but it wasn't life changing. We ordered some scrumptious rosemary focaccia and lemon garlic olives to start; my husband chose the Korean Fried Chicken and I opted for the pappardelle bolognese for our main course. Both dishes were tasty, but I don't think either one was reasonably priced at $34. We opted to skip dessert after watching everyone around us receive their meals before us; and only at this time did our waiter seem to become more attentive. Overall, food is great, but overpriced; service was fair - but for over $100 for two entrees, appetizer and one drink, we won't be back.

Like "let's take pictures before we eat because this patio belongs in a lifestyle magazine" gorgeous. Las Olas energy at its finest. The outdoor seating is fantastic, the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy, and honestly, the food was outstanding. Which is why this hurts. We came for Mother's Day brunch and intentionally avoided rushing over for happy hour pricing because we wanted a relaxed meal. Adult decision. Responsible. Mature. Mistake number one apparently. Started with the charred corn and avocado dip and I need whoever created that dish to be recognized with some sort of civic award. Ridiculously good. One of those appetizers where you immediately start calculating whether licking the bowl in public is socially acceptable. Then came the steak and eggs discussion. My wife and I were both looking at the steak and eggs listed on the menu for $26.75. Our waiter explained that the standard steak was only four ounces and casually suggested upgrading to a six ounce or eight ounce cut instead. Now listen carefully because this is where the plot twists into a financial thriller. At no point during this conversation was pricing for the upgrade mentioned. And shame on me for not asking. That part is absolutely on me. But the suggestion was delivered with the same casual energy as "would you like fries with that?" So I upgraded to the eight ounce. My wife went with the six ounce. She also had a margarita she loved. We skipped dessert because we were stuffed and, as it turns out, accidentally entering a luxury cattle futures market. Then the handheld payment machine arrived. $175. I stared at that screen like it had just informed me my mortgage was due immediately. Turns out those extra six ounces of sirloin between the two plates carried an upcharge that could finance a small fishing boat. Roughly ten dollars an ounce for the upgrade. Somewhere, a Wagyu cow laughed at me from a distance. And look, before anybody jumps in, yes... I should have asked. Lesson learned. But restaurants also know exactly what they're doing when upgrade pricing gets floated around casually without numbers attached. There's a difference between upselling and a sneak attack. Which makes this review frustrating because I genuinely loved almost everything else. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fantastic. Service was friendly. But nothing tanks the ending of a brunch quite like feeling blindsided by steak math. Pro tip for future diners: If they suggest the upgraded steak, ask the price immediately. Ask twice. Possibly get it notarized. Three stars because I really do want to come back someday. But right now I still feel like I got hit with a reverse happy hour.

Not only was he very apologetic, he seemed like he actually cared about making the situation right. After inquiring a bit more about the service that night he graciously invited me back for another meal. I understand mistakes happens so it's truly about how they're taken care of after the fact. In this case, it was handled well. I decided to come for brunch this time & overall, it was a really good meal. They weren't super busy but service was good. Our appetizers, drinks & meals all came out in a timely manner. For the most part, everything was right but one of the hash brown sides came out cold (it was quickly swapped for fresh ones). My chicken & waffles were delicious. I especially liked how freshly breaded/fried the chicken was. There was a misunderstanding when it came to ordering our drinks, however. I ordered one that should've came iced but got the other coffee beverage which is served warm. When I brought it up to the waiter he was adamant that it's what I ordered & how it's served. After I questioned it once more, he stuck to that, so I kept the drink. Thankfully, it tasted really good & was poured well but it wasn't what I ordered. It was just a bit off putting that he said it was. He said he'd take the drinks off but this was after we went back & forth about it. This isn't a make or break situation for me but he was set in his ways. As a server, you need to be as adaptive as possible, even if you believe you're right. I'm super thankful to have been invited back because it was a nice meal, as I expected. I'm glad I can now tell people to try them out in good conscience. Also loved the atmosphere once again, it's just a very nice, open place to enjoy a meal and have a drink. We got a bunch of appetizers to start. The house made Ricotta with cracked pepper and olive oil was very delicious. I also loved the crispy zucchini slices, which were topped with peppadew peppers and a chili vinaigrette. Outstanding stuff. The seared ahi tuna was next level. The fish was fresh and beautifully seated and the mix of cucumber, aji amarillo, pineapple, cilantro and wasabi cream was sensational. One of the best dishes they make at Sixty Vines. The absolute best of the bunch was the truffle fries! They were amazing. They are basically crispy layered potatoes, almost like stacks of filo dough, fried and topped with pecorino, chives and lemon truffle cream. They were so good we ordered a second one! Considering how wonderful everything was to this point, we were expecting nothing but great things for the next course. However they completely dropped the ball and basically ruined our meal with lackluster entrees. Our party ordered the steak fries with chimichurri sauce, the double cabrenet burger, and several filet mignons. The amount of time it took to get the food was unreasonable. Once the appetizers were finished we had to wait somewhere around 20 to 25 minutes to get our mains, and the place was not that busy. I assume that the waitress just forgot or was busy with something else. As for the food, the quality of the steaks was not good all around. Everybody who got the filet mignon commented that the texture was chalky and weird. They were also all overcooked. And oddly, they decided to slice the steak before serving it, so it was very dry. Why would you pre slice a steak, all that's going to do is let the juices seep out and make the temperature drop. I honestly don't get it. The steak that came with the steak fries, I think it was a skirt steak, was also not the best cut. It was super fatty and a little chewy. The fries were good though but the meat was terrible. Finally the burger was completely overdone despite the person ordering it medium rare. Overall, not the best ending to a meal that started with such amazing dishes. Really striking contrast. And actually it made me think that I probably will not go back to Sixty Vines anytime soon. For a $350 meal they have to be doing a lot better. Dried out, overcooked steaks and burgers isn't going to cut it.

All three stars go to Ava. This past Tuesday my family came to Shooters for dinner to celebrate my…read morebirthday. We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits
