I tried this new fast casual place across from Greenwood mall last week. I ordered at the counter and they brought the food to me and my cousin. My cousin ordered the hamburger and enjoyed it. I ordered the gyro sandwich. It was large and well seasoned. The tzatziki sauce was good. I asked for that on the side. We both enjoyed the french fries, which reminded us of Rally's, in a good way! They brought out ketchup packets upon request and were generous with them. I prefer ketchup bottles on the table but this still worked. There was some slight confusion involving drinks. They have bottled water and canned sodas but no fountain drinks. I was hoping to get tap water but got charged for bottled water. I went ahead and took it as perhaps I wasn't clear. I'll remember for next time. They also play music. I don't recall it being offensive, but I could have done without it. Unless it adds to the ambience, like City BBQ with blues music, it risks taking away from the experience. The desserts were also interesting. Mostly cakes. I didn't try one but I brought one home to my wife. She hasn't tried it yet but it looks good (Dubai chocolate cake). I look forward to returning. You get a good amount of food for the money. I took most of the gyro home. The staff recommended the platters so I'll try that next . The place was clean. They have booths and chairs but it's not a huge place. I imagine more people will do takeaway but they have nice NYC murals on the walls that explain their origins.

My husband and I ordered takeout from NYC Halal Eats and found the food to be high quality and delicious! Our order was ready very quick and everything was accurate. The staff seemed friendly and the food seemed fresh. We got french fries, onion rings, samosas, chicken wings, the seafood platter, and a cannoli cake. It was all delicious, but I would strongly recommend the seafood platter and french fries. We cant wait to go back to try more of their desserts as well!

I stopped at NYC Halal Eats after work to grab some dinner for myself and my husband. I ordered the lamb gyro wrap for him and the chicken platter for me. Portions were great and the food was very tasty! I can't really rate the service because I ordered online and picked it up. The inside of this place was really cool looking and they had digital screens showing everything they offer. I noticed people sitting in the booths eating when I walked in. I would say that the food was pretty good and I will definitely be back in the future!

I like how unique this place is and has its own vibe! After hearing about it I finally tried it. Inside the restaurant is very colorful and it really reminded me of Brooklyn and manhattan... and I ordered Philly cheese stake sub and the amount of food served could easily feed two people. I saved the half for dinner. The steak was juicy and tasted good. I felt like the prices are bit high for casual restaurant like this but it was also generous amount of food. Service was average, and the food took about 10 minutes.

This place is cool - the music, the decor, the lighting. But the food was so so good. I could smell it through the container before I opened it and it just made me that much more excited. The menu was pretty varied with chicken, fries, burgers, gyros, platters, etc. The amount of food you get for the price is insane. I went with the falafel platter and my brother opted for the chicken platter. Both were really good. The platter consists of your protein option, plus rice, salad, and fries - all topped with white sauce. Everything was delicious! I did get a little sauce fatigue about halfway through since it was on everything, but easy fix to just get the sauce on the side. And they did ask when taking our order. Everyone was friendly and the food came out hot and packaged well. We got a chopped cheese to take home to my mom as well and I had instant fomo when we opened it up. It looked so good and I will definitely be getting that next time. They had a ton of delicious-looking desserts as well and even those trendy ice creams that look like fruit. I feel like you can't go wrong with anything you try here.

The restaurant was super cute. I was excited to try the food here after reading so many wonderful reviews. It was clean. I wasn't greeted when I walked in or even when I got to the counter. I did appreciate the vegetarian options. My food wasnt hot. I ordered the falafel platter.

This is a new addition to Greenwood. There is a large menu and the restaurant is open late for those evenings when work or school activities run late (10:30 p.m. on weeknights and 12:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday). I will definitely go back. Whether you want burgers, gyros, sandwiches, combo platters, or just something to snack on, you are sure to find something you will like.

I ordered my sandwich and got it without incident.....Until....... The cup of soup I ordered they didn't have enough of, so the guy said he needed to get more. I said I would wait with no problem. Seconds later he bought me out soup that I swear he added water to! It was broccoli and cheddar water! There was zero flavor and crackers didn't thicken it up! The sandwich was good. The manager did correct the issue, but overall, not a great first impression.

It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!
