It was surprisingly good but oddly cold by the time I got home and it was not a far of a drive. The lamb was fresh as well as the tomatoes! I should have gotten the extra tzatziki sauce on the side because there was a lot of it, and normally other places don't add a lot of the sauce which is why I thought to add it in the gyro. The outside signage doesn't seem to match the interior- inside it's dark, older looking with heavy set dark booths/seating. It seems like this place must get more to go/delivery orders though. We stopped in after seeing great Yelp reviews. I love good Mediterranean foods. The menu is diverse and prices reasonable. The clerk was friendly at the counter. I ordered the chicken gyro. The generous helping of chicken is tender and flavorful with lots of creamy sauce. The wrap is fresh. I wished I'd ordered some cukes or lettuce filling to add some veggies to the wrap. My husband raved about the breaded tenderloin. The batter had great seasoning. The tenderloin was tender and juicy. The dining room is dark with no personality. This is our 2nd time going to Indy Gyros and they deserve a review. The first time we went there was because of a vet visit and was hungry coming home. We got the chicken platter and a combo gyro. It was so good, the meat, sauce, veggies and pita bread was so satisfying. I'll also add that the guy working the counter was friendly and noticed I was a new customer. We even talked about our pets. This 2nd time was also due to a follow up vet visit. We still got the chicken platter but this time I got a combo wrap. I'll also add that the platter comes with fries that are decent. The fries probably won't blow you away but I've had way worse. The wrap was really good but the traditional gyro in pita is a little better. So on to the pita bread itself. Probably one of the best pita breads in the metro area that I've had. A nice piece of pita bread does come with a platter order. Shockingly delicious. I ordered the combo plate in hopes that if I don't love the lamb, I could eat the chicken. I ended up loving it so much that I came back for lunch the following day! It was ground lamb and diced chicken served on a bed of rice and salad. There was a creamy sauce/dressing all over it. I couldn't quite place what it was though. It wasn't ranch or tzatziki or a garlic sauce but it was delicious. My husband loved the gyro plate. This was my third visit and everything was amazing again. We were greeted by a gentleman that I believe is the owner. He is very friendly. This is a counter restaurant, so you order at the counter and pick your food up from the same counter. On this visit I ordered the lamb over rice. It was chopped lamb, lettuce, rice, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers and a white sauce. I asked for the hot sauce to be on the side and it is pretty hot. A dab will do it for me. My favorite lunch has been the lamb gyro with fries. But everything has been very tasty. My mom loves the chicken. It has plenty of seasonings on it. No bland chicken here! I saw a Facebook ad that showed Indy Gyros preparing a large order for a local dealership and every order looked amazing. I hadn't had a Gyro in quite a while and I decided to give them a try. I searched their facebook page and I also looked on google maps for an online ordering menu or a website. It appears they are on Facebook and they also have a website that shows their items and a menu. I had to call and place the order for pickup because I couldn't figure out how to place an order online through their website or Facebook page. I believe they do DoorDash. The guy who took my order was very nice and made sure to verify my order. Once I arrived the order was ready to go and the payment process was super easy with a tap to pay. The food was delicious and the price point was pretty decent. The restaurant does have sit down dining but no one was eating in. The restaurant is the old Tegry Bistro sushi place. It still looks the same inside except the order counter. I would recommend this place for some pretty good food options and the flavor was spot on. read more

The fries were awesome. Large cut, hot and the bag was over flowing. I'd go back just for the fries! The falafel salad was good sized and enough for a couple meals. The food here is good. I had a falafel gyro and it was stuffed full. My husband tried 6 chicken wings, which he said were good but small, and a lamb gyro, which he liked. The decor hasn't been changed since the last restaurant was here, and most of the tables hadn't been wiped down when we came in on a Saturday night. We were greeted when we came in and the gentleman behind the counter answered our questions about the menu very patently and was helpful, They gave my husband a taste of the hot sauce so he could decide if he wanted it on his gyro or just on the side. The 1st time we went, everything was so good. The burgers and the pork tenderloin sandwich. The fries were good. The baklava was good. Who was helping us was kind and courteous. This time, the food was good aside from the chili cheese fries. Box of fries with nacho cheese drizzled and what looked like chili juice. The fries were wet and not much chili...just the juice. Ha. Also, they ran out of hoagie rolls, sp they offered to make a chicken philly on a hotdog bun. I know they were just giving options, but a hotdog bun is a lot smaller than a hoagie roll. So, stay away from the chili unless they can actually give you chili and make sure they have rolls before ordering anything that would come on one. Went one night last week. I don't know why I forgot this place exists but my gf said she really wanted a gyro and it popped into my head that there's a new gyro place in town. First off. This place is really clean. The owner told us that it used to be a sushi place and his crew spent 3 weeks cleaning the place from top to bottom before they did anything else. Second. The owner is extremely nice. Very friendly! It's like talking to an old friend. Finally. I got a combo gyro which is chicken and lamb. I got mine with hot sauce. My gf got hers with chicken and tzatziki sauce. Mine was incredible. The gyro pita had a nice masala flavor that I've never had in a gyro before but my goodness it was absolutely welcome!
