I went to pick up my Yelp Indy elite squad perk at 4 Birds Bakery , and decided to grab some dinner while I was at The Garage Food Hall. I decided to try some Greek food at Mama Fofos. The menu looked good, so I choose the falafel wrap with fries and a small house salad to go. The woman was very nice and professional when she took my order. It was a bit of wait because they were other orders ahead of me, but it took about 15-20 minutes to get my order. The presentation of the falafel wrap was nice, and it did taste very good. The small house salad was good, but not the best house salad I have ever had. For a Greek vendor, Mama Fofos was Ok and decent at The Garage Food Hall but I would not go back there unless I craved Greek food. The Garage Food Hall has other selections that are of higher quality that Mama Fofos. I'm not saying this to be mean, but the food was bland and lacked flavor and consistency. I feel I would be better off trying another vendor at The Garage Food Hall for lunch or dinner. That is my two cents worth. Hope it helps! Mama Fofos does have a nice ambiance to it, so I will give them props for the ambiance. read more

Fun place in the Garage food hall. Fast service I had gyro very quickly. The fries were solid and spiced nicely. The gyro was too full to eat. I know everyone likes a big portion but I had to eat half the meat and scrape out excessive yogurt to be able to pick it up to eat. Very messy but it was good. read more

We stopped here at garage food hall before a convention in Indianapolis. We did the full walk around and this place looked like it had some really nice food to stop in with. Being a food hall meant that there was a lot of activity every direction . Even so there was not a line and people were very friendly. The food itself was delicious . I personally had the falafel and found that it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Their sauce also was really good for both the wrap and to be used on the fries. All in all, this is a great place to go if you're in need of a good meal in Indianapolis. read more

Tried this place at the Bottleworks garage. It's good. I got the falafel pita and fries. The fries were ok, but the pita was AMAZING. The falafel was so good. Crispy on the outside, but hot and steamy on the inside. They had delicious sauce, hummus, and the perfect amount of veggies. This was great. I went after the lunch rush, and the service was very quick. The staff were all very kind. The garage is always amazing. Lots of room to sit, tons of other options for food if you are with a group, etc. Definitely try this place. The falafel was great. I will be back to try other menu items. read more

Slowly making my way through The Garage. This trip I had Mama Fofo's. Greek food is one of my favorites and this did not disappoint. I had the chicken gyro which was super filled with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and tzatziki. It was super messy and everything fell out as I was eating, but I just ate it like a salad. My brother had the gyro melt which was like a deep-fried phyllo sandwich. The staff were super friendly and we got our food quick. They have lots of good looking things on the menu, I don't think you can go wrong. read more

Mama Fofo's is ALWAYS top tier They have the best hummus I have ever tried. I have gotten the hummus dip appetizer so much that it's borderline addiction lol. I got their gyro and fries last time and the fries were super crispy, but soft inside, and were coated with a Greek seasoning that was super aromatic. The gyro meat was great but it had a bit too much tzatziki for my liking - to the point where it kind of overpowered everything else and made the gyro hard to eat due to the mess. read more

good value for the area I guess, but more expensive than other gyro places in Brip and Castleton -- the sandwich had a lot of meat and the pita itself was great. Soft and fluffy. i wish there were some more toppings though. i also like when the gyro comes half wrapped in tin foil to ensure the contents don't fall out, and this one didnt so it was a little more difficult to eat. Next time I'm trying the baklava! read more

Mama Fofos is a yummy spot in the garage with Greek/Mediterranean cuisine! I had the chicken gyro here which came with fries, and it exceeded my expectations!! The chicken was juicy, seasoned very well, and the yogurt sauce was perfectly thick and flavorful. The fries were seasoned, crispy, and delicious as well! I'm hungry just thinking about it! In terms of service, the woman serving us was nice and friendly. There's a lot of seating in the garage too and it's a lively environment, so it's a great spot to grab a bite with friends :) read more

Be sure to get a receipt. The loaded fries were good, but I swore I bought baklava and when I went to pick up she told me I didn't. No lines on a Sat night was questionable, since every other place usually had a line. They did make fresh to order. But from the other reviews seems my 14.95 fries turned into 19.44 total. With all the taxes, tip, no cash fee- maybe it was the additional $5, but baklava was also $4.95. ‍ I will go back to Bottleworks, but I will not eat here again. read more

Basically what it says on the box... quick Greek food to go. I had the Gyro, because of course I did. Prices are similar to most of the other booths in the area. I thought that the serving size was perfect, but if you're used to the massive gyros that some places sell, yeah, it's not that. If you're a guy used to big plates of food, you might need to get another snack after this. We ordered the chicken gyro and it was delicious!! Very fast and very tasty! We went to the Garage around 5:15, it was pretty dead overall. I love George, and the food was good, so I give it a 5 star rating. However, the woman who took our order was completely miserable, wouldn't even stand up to take our order. I walked into the garage thinking I'd get my go-to: a burger and fries from Clancys. Then. My eyes fell on a sign for Greek food. And not just any Greek food- mama fofos. Thank goodness I saw it. I've been semi searching for a good Greek place in Indy for awhile. And this is it. Great people working there. It didn't take any time at all to get my gyro and fries. And absolutely delicious. Bottleworks and The Garage are a joy... but Mama Fofos Greek food made it that much better. My friend and I shared a salad and gyro- definitely enough food for two. The salad had tomatoes, onions, pitted black olives and feta cheese. The salad part was a blend of lettuce types, which made it tasty. The dressing was a little heavy on the oil part and could have used more zing. But it was great overall! read more

Another delicious spot to check out at The Garage. We found plenty of parking in the surface lot right behind The Garage. We were snacking before a later dinner planned down on Mass Ave. We chose the Greek fries with gyro meat and were easily swayed into also getting the baklava cheesecake. I'm a cheesecake fan anyways, but this was special. It was creamy and sweet, but not overly sweet. The combo of the flaky filo crusts and the rich cheesecake was dreamy. The fries were just as great. This may have been some of the most flavorful tzaziki sauce I've ever had. The fries were crisp, Feta was smooth and the gyro meat was the perfect protein to round it out. For some reason, every time I go to the Garage Food Hall. Mama Fofos tends to be the one and only place I will go to. Does not matter if I have been 3 times already, I will still choose this place. Their food always satisfies my stomach and I do not feel gross eating it. My typical order is the Falafel Wrap which honestly is more food than I am capable of eating at most meals so for $10.95 you get your money's worth! Great flavor in the falafels and tatziki sauce, and hard to mess up a pita with hummus base - a wonderful choice for vegetarians!! One tip - get lots of napkins and forks because they load it up with toppings - nothing wrong with that! Last time I went, I thought I would finally try the Greek style fries because I love the seasonings usually. Honestly, this place did not have my favorite Greek style fries because my fries were kind soft/soggy but the flavors were there. Next time I for sure want to try the baklava cheesecake though because it looks mouth watering. I mean you cannot go wrong with the food options here in my opinion! read more

I did have a nice service. However the spanakopita that I had was the WORST spanakopita I've ever had...not just in Indy...but anywhere. It was tasteless. All I could taste was the oil in which it was fried. Yes, Fried! I make this myself and have eaten it at so many other restaurants, Greek festivals and in Greece. In all cases it was baked. This appeared to have been baked and then deep fried. Grease was dripping off of it. Yes, I picked up a pieces and oil dripped all over the table and my hand and was running down my wrist. It was all I could taste. I ate 2 of 6 pieces and offered some to others who all said it was horrible. A waste of my money there. read more

Another new additon to The Garage! Mama Fofos offers Greek foods. The Feta appetizer is a 4x3x1/2 inch cut of rich, salty cheese with black olives, cucumber and tomato slices drizzed in a light olive oil and sprinked with dried oregano. Comes with pita triangles. The Chicken Gyro is a big sandwich of sliced meat, onion, tomato, lettuce with cucumber and yogurt sauce. I added French fries for 2 bucks. Every thing was fresh and hot. Solid gyros now available in the food hall. Serves a niche that had been missing within the confines of the food hall previously. Not a huge menu, simply gyros, chicken gyros, a few salads, sides, etc. The fries are pretty good, gyro pretty good. Wish they served more Turkish food to be frank but I can understand why they want to keep menu limited, simple for efficiency purposes. The baklava honestly is the stand out of everything. It is thick, perfect texture, crunchy outer layers with softer rich layers below surface. read more

Visited the Garage Food Hall yesterday with a group of friends. Wanted something quick and easy on a Saturday evening and Mama Fofos didn't have a line. The Gyro meat was great. I also liked the taziki sauce. It wasn't overly cucumber-y which I liked. The pita was warm and delicious. It was incredibly hard to eat because it was overflowing. Will be back the next time I'm craving a gyro. read more

Delicious!! My husband and I both loved the gyros! The food and the service were amazing. Surprisingly, the fries were some of the best we have ever had. The pita bread was so soft and fresh. Located in the garage at Bottleworks, this is a new and welcome addition to the variety there. Owned by George Stergiopoulos, the big man was right there cooking along with his staff and his friendly daughter was on the register. Quite busy for a Thursday night, it did take about 15 minutes to get our food. My husband and I both had the Gyro sandwich and it was delicious! Lots of meat, lots of sauce, very fresh. $10.95 for the sandwich, an extra $2 for the fries. read more

It was a 3-minute walk. We were seated right away when we walked in. We were perhaps a little fortunate as I think next time I'd make a reservation. The one thing that was off-putting was the fact that they put a time limit on our meal. I thought I heard 90 minutes and my colleague thought 2 hours. We were not planning to be there any longer than that, but we all three thought that to be a negative. I understand why they do that, but they should re-think their approach to that policy. We chose to sit outside as it was a very nice evening. Their patio was nicely arranged and was a rather pleasant spot for a meal. Our server, Apple, did a good job taking care of us. The menu featured some excellent Thai and Southeast Asian choices. We started with the Spring Rolls which were wonderfully crispy and tasted very good. My colleagues had the Steak Drunken Noodles and the Chili Basil Pork and both returned good reports. I had the Penang Curry Chicken and was extremely happy with that. The spice level was perfect and it was quite tasty. Our final bill with food, drink, tax and tip was $101. At just under $34 per person, we were quite happy with the value. I'll look forward to returning.

I had an amazing experience at Mama Fofo's restaurant! The falafel wrap was a burst of fresh flavors, and the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned amazingly well. The baklava was some of the sweetest and flakiest I've ever had. The dolmades were delicious and came with a large serving of hummus - this could have been a meal on its own! Generous portions ensured a satisfying meal with leftovers for lunch. I guess I'll have to work my way through this new menu to find my go to dish. And to leave a more detailed review. I do have to say that the place seems cleaner than it used to be, which is a plus of course.
