Pita Way is a new addition to the fast food line-up in Westfield. Pita Way started in Michigan in 2010 and offers made-to-order gyros, salads and bowls. On Tuesdays, Pita Way offers a special of any of their Detroit Style gyros, side and drink for only $9.99. The gyro is large and I like that the pita is thin and not too bready. The fillings were fresh. The meat was cubed, which made it seemed processed instead of fresh off the pit. I had the fries for a side. The portion is generous and the fries are crispy and delicious. I was pleased to see unsweetened ice tea as an option (I could have used some lemon, though). The dining area is rather plain, but clean. A plaque on the e wall describes the Pita Way journey. Mediterranean music played in the background. The staff is super friendly. The clerk explained the menu, including the specials. The cashier encouraged us to sign-up for rewards and gave us coupons. A member of the staff checked on us part way through our meal. We were thanked when we left. Overall, perfect service. Great lunch for the price. I'm anxious to try a bowl next visit.

Amazing first experience here! The first thing I want to mention is that you should definitely order the Fire Fries. If you leave without trying them you are missing out. The employees are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They answered my questions about the menu items. I ordered the Detroit Lunch Bag, which consists of a pita and a side. I chose the falafel pita and hummus and chips. I also ordered a side of Fire Fries, which were highly recommended. The falafel was excellent. I would definitely order it again. Hummus was smooth and the pita chips were crispy and seasoned. And the Fire Fries. I would come here just for the fries. Everything on the menu is customizable and there are many healthy options. The tables were clean and the restaurant interior was attractive. Very happy to have this new option close to home.

I have been keeping an eye on this Pita Way location in Westfield anticipating the day they were going open for business. My dreams came true this past Friday when they opened their doors to serve healthy and delicious Mediterranean fast food. I ordered the Detroit Tuesday Special for 9.99 with a falafel sandwich, hummus, pita chips and a drink! I really liked the hummus and falafel. The pita chips are deep fried and have a nice crunch. Not too salty. My husband had the Legacy Bowl which is their Monday 9.99 special. He enjoyed his lunch as well. I would have taken more pictures but I was hungry and the food didn't last long! It's a casual atmosphere with very welcoming and helpful staff. We plan to return soon! This week they are giving away Baklava so get there stat!

Food is more Americanized Greek, good if you want the fast food version of Greek but not anything to write home about.

It's not that anything was bad, but after all the hype, we just weren't impressed. Let me start off by saying that the space is very cool. I loved the dark, swamp-themed mural painted on the wall, the banging playlist and the inclusion of a bar in the back as well as the ice cream counter. The staff were jovial, accommodating and extremely pleasant to interact with. My husband and I both ordered 1/2 slab rib combos. My 1/2 was much larger/meatier than his, so we swapped. The combo comes with two sides. We both ordered the baked beans, he had the coleslaw, and I had the macaroni and cheese. Categorically, everything was ok...good even, but not great or amazing, which were the words that we'd heard from others. Perhaps we didn't order the right items. The ribs were beautiful with the perfect smoke ring. They were seasoned well, but they were not as tender as I would've liked. I like my ribs to be fall-off-the-bone tender, but I know that isn't necessarily the industry standard. The sauce options were mild and hot, but I could barely distinguish the difference between the two. Hot is not spicy. The macaroni and cheese could've used some salt and pepper, but the baked beans were spot-on. The beans were on the sweet side, which is just how I like them. The platter is also served with soft, buttery, rolls with garlic.

I proceeded to have a seat at the bar as the patron to my left commented that I was grossly overdressed for this establishment. He wasn't wrong, but a girl needed some food! I ordered the smoked wings and a side of fries. I chose water to drink because I wasn't in the mood for anything else. BEST WINGS ANS FRIES!!! TWO THUMBS UP! The wings and fries are perfection. No sauce necessary. I tried the teriyaki but it wasn't to my liking and the wings don't require anything extra. They are perfection straight outta the kitchen as served on butcher paper. The fries are probably the best fries I have ever eaten. Seriously. I'm a fry connoisseur - I know my way around a fried potato! Best part: the price! They are priced appropriately. Portions size is great. Hearty wings, not lil wing dings. I only did 6 wings, but next time I'll do the full 12 and take some home. Better than Ale Emporium - argue with ya mamma, not me! I said what I said. Go Bears....Blackhawks...Bulls...Sky... it's a Chicago themed bar, so I'm sure you can find fans enjoying the games here. I'll be back! See you there!

Crate Escapes is a dog park, offering both daily access and membership options, with tons of different beers and wines on tap. The outdoor space, which Costal Cantina shares, is huge and well maintained. On to the food - Crate Escapes knew what they were doing when they chose Costal Catina as their food vendor. The restaurant itself is located separately from the dog park area (therefore feel free to visit without a dog for no access fee!) with outdoor space looking out over the park. The outdoor eating area is covered and cool. The indoor spaces offers several tables for indoor dining. We were quickly greeted by the friendly cashier. Food was prepared fresh, but also came out quickly! For appetizers, we had the taco egg roll. This is served with a chipotle crema that offers a nice subtle kick. We also tried the carne asada fries. These stole the show and are a must get!! My husband and I shared the Rancho and Oaktown tortas. Both were very good and of large portions. My favorite of the two was the Oaktown with the fried chicken making the sandwich! We ended with some churros. These are stuffed and delicious. Overall, Coastal Cantina is a great addition to the area. I highly recommend checking it out - whether you have a dog to bring to the park or not!

Starting off with the most important part- the food. The carne asada fries- to die for. My favorite part of my whole meal. Perfectly crispy fries, topped with juicy meat, pickled onions, delicious salsa. The taco egg rolls were packed full of carne asada and cheese, perfectly fried, and accompanied with a flavor packed chipotle crema. The ranchero torta was the first torta I've ever had- and I'm disappointed in myself for going this long without one. The bread was crispy, carne asada perfectly cooked, with all the other toppings rounded it out- . The oaktown torta was also another star of the show. The chicken was perfectly fried, the chipotle crema added a nice kick, with the pickled red onion balancing everything out. The service was quick, and everyone showed wonderful hospitality. We were just as welcomed without dogs with us, but it was fun sitting on the patio watching all the dogs run around together. If I didn't live forty five minutes away, this place would be a weekly regular for me. I would highly recommend to anyone, as it's a top ten place I've ate in all of the Indianapolis area.
