Family owned restaurant, excellent food and service. Located in the Walmart shopping area, between the UPS store and Academy Sports. The interior was bright and attractively decorated. The employees were very friendly and helpfully answered our questions about the menu. I ordered a falafel sandwich and fries. The falafel was very good, and the fries were perfectly seasoned, hot and fresh. I really like the garlic sauce, I requested an extra cup and used it to dip my fries. Baba ganoush was smoky and creamy. Great flavor. Prices were very reasonable and servings were huge. Definitely plan to return here to try some of the other menu items.

Chicken Shawarma (arabic style): 8/10 Chicken shawarma platter: 9.5/10 Chicken shawarma pita sandwich: 8/10 ** all came with a choice of fries or salad Falafel & Hummus platter: 9/10 Review Jawdi grill is a spectacular trip to FlavorTown! A spot that I almost don't want to post bc it was just that good. Cravings were satisfied as everything came out looking phenomenal and tasting even better. I was so pleasantly surprised with the platter -- the rice was cooked perfectly and meat was so tender and had a nice smokey flavor. It was even better than some of the halal carts i've tried in NY #The falafel/hummus platter was a beautiful array of flavor and a perfect shareable. The hummus was so incredibly silken! I wish it was a little more garlicky~ but with the toum sauce, it was perfect. Plenty of parking is available in the lot out front. Order at the cash register and the food is called out. Open seating concept. The workers were nice and knowledgeable when I asked about portion sizing and it made for a seamless ordering process. Lastly, shoutout to the guy that gave me another soda when mine popped on the floor

Jawdi is a family owned restaurant that serves a menu of tasty Middle Eastern cuisine. This location is their second location (the first is in downtown Carmel). We visited for an early lunch. Middle Eastern music played overhead. We were greeted when we entered by Ahmed. I ordered the Greek Salad, which is colorful and huge with interesting pickled radish. The dressing is lemony and perfect for the bed of traditional salad. I loved my salad. My husband had the Beef Shwarma Wrap with fries. He loved the seasoning on the generous portion of beef. The fries were hot and crispy. A clerked checked on us several times even though there is no table service. The staff is friendly. The dining room is upscale fast food with lots of tables and a small counter. The walls are filled with fun sayings along with the Jawdi family story.

Great place to get gyros and shawarma! The fries were amazing, and so crunchy. The serving portions are huge, so be prepared for leftovers. I highly recommend getting chicken over beef or lamb since the beef and lamb were dry. I love that they give garlic sauce on the side with the gyros. The food is delicious and has lots of flavor. All the drinks are cans and water bottles, which were way overpriced. I wish cups of water were free. Service was okay. Lots of free parking in the lot out front since the restaurant is in a plaza.

If you have tried Fayrouz on Main st Jawdi grill is owned by the same owner. Opened about 1+ months ago Jawdi grill has been getting rave reviews for all the good reasons. First off, location is great right beside Walmart, gas station and a shopping area making it easily accessible for lunch or dinner. Second Mediterranean style restaurant is always great and unique. We went as a group of 8 with 4 kids on a Friday night and although the place was so busy we got our food in less than 10 minutes and our portions were pretty huge. The meats are excellent and the combination never disappoints! Highly recommend trying it!

Came by this strip mall today on an errand and noticed Jawdi Grill that appeared out of nowhere. I assume it is brand new due to lack of reviews and not seeing it before. I ordered the Shawarma which they have choice of Chicken or Beef (no lamb unfortunately). It comes in a laffa vs a pita. They also have a few other dishes like Kibbeh, Falafel, Hummus and Baba Ganoush, and for some reason Spanakopita which leans into Greek rather than middle east. I think that is something they did to please the Americans. They shave directly off the spits, which is excellent as a lot of places around here take shortcuts by shaving early and then reheating later. When you order you get option of salad or fries, there is no option for a sandwich only. It tasted great! Fresh, hot and delicious. I'll be back as long as quality doesn't slip as the restaurant gains age.

Affordable, quick, delicious and quality food! What a great addition to the area. Can't wait to go back!

The wait was 30 min, but that was to be expected because it just opened. (And kudos to them for having so many people excited to come eat there!) Staff was super nice and working really hard to get all the orders out. 4/5 stars Gyro was good, next time I'll have them put the tzatziki inside, not on the side, and add feta. Will go back again and try a plate. Great addition to Westfield.

Gyro in pita, salad, picked cabbage.

Growing up in a family where Lebanese meals were often prepared for those big family get-togethers, I crave all of the middle eastern dining offerings. Both the food and being surrounded by family. Today at Jawdi Grill, I was able to enjoy at least the authentic food to satisfy those cravings. I wanted to try several of the menu items but decided on gyro in pita and my husband had kofta kebabs. Thank goodness I didn't order more because the servings were very generous. The salad was amazingly fresh with olives, pickled turnip, tomato, cucumber with delicious dressing. The pita with gyro meat was excellent along with the tzatziki sauce. It overflowed the pita and had to be eaten with a fork rather than a handheld sandwich. We had leftovers to take home. Yes, I still miss my family and memories of family gatherings but the employees of this restaurant greeted us with smiles, kindness, and seemed happy to serve us. Can't wait to go back for a serving of spanakopita, hummus, babaganoush, falafel, chicken shawarma, bakalava..... Thank you for choosing Westfield to locate your restaurant!

You order up at the counter and they lost my order so after people that arrived after me got their food, I went up to inquire about my order and then they found it. They asked for a tip, even though they don't serve you. The food was very dry and bland. I had the beef Shawarma platter and it was just not worth the $17 price. The fries were delicious and the only thing that was very good. I expected this to be a sitdown restaurant and was disappointed you had to wait in line to order. There are better choices out there I won't be back

For other first-time…read morevisitors, I recommend letting the coffee sit for about 30 seconds before taking a sip so the fine grounds can settle to the bottom. Also, don't stir it after it's served, as that will bring the grounds back up into the coffee. Be sure to leave the last sip or two in the cup, since that's where the grounds collect. The coffee itself was excellent, but I would recommend that servers explain these details to first-time customers or at least ask whether they've had Turkish coffee before. A little guidance would make the experience even better for newcomers. We also ordered the hummus as an appetizer, and it was fantastic. The naan was served warm, and the hummus tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. It was the perfect way to start the meal. We also ordered The Bosphorus Special, a mixed grill platter featuring doner, kofte, chicken kebab, beef kebab, Adana kebab, and chicken Adana kebab, served with vegetables and white rice. Everything was absolutely delicious. The meats were cooked perfectly, tender, and packed with flavor. I'm so glad my significant other and I decided to share this entrée because the portion was very generous, and we still had plenty of leftovers to take home. While the service could have been a bit more attentive, it did not negatively impact our overall experience. After our food was served, our waitress did not check back to see how everything was or whether we needed anything additional. We also ended up with quite a few leftovers and requested to-go containers. Initially, only one small container was brought to the table, which required two additional follow-ups before we received enough containers for the remaining food. One suggestion I would offer is that, for tables ordering larger meals, it may be helpful for servers to proactively offer to box up leftovers as dishes are cleared. For just two people, our table became overcrowded rather quickly, especially with the generous portions. Since our waitress did not return after the food was served, it made managing the table and leftovers a little challenging. That said, we had a wonderful first experience overall. The food was outstanding, the portions were generous, and we look forward to coming back again in the future.

As a disciple of the Church of Latter Day Soup, having any Savory Cereal options on the menu is a big win for me, and being able to get it as a side at no additional charge is like magic these days. I got the lentil soup with my wrap and it was delicious, light, well flavored, and a good size. They had a stuffed wrap lunch deal with fries (or soup) and a drink for $10, and provided a massive pita for the price. I skipped the garlic sauce after learning it contains mayo. Traditionally, it doesn't, so I'm glad I asked before ordering. The guy working was very helpful and took the time to explain the dishes to us in the Buffett. We opted for the Buffett today (only runs fri-sun) and while I would love to tell you everything we had, I'd be lying if I said I remembered all the names of the dishes. But trust me when I say the food was fresh, hot and lots of variety. Started off with some hummus, salad, pasta salad, and some other cold sides that I forget the name. The pasta salad was fine, but def okay to skip and stick to the other sides to which you won't be disappointed! The pita was also fresh and so good! Some of the stand outs for the main dishes I LOVED the mushroom beef dish and the chicken I got was so tender it was FALL OFF THE BONE! Also their spaghetti (reminded me more of a Mac and cheese) was so creamy and packed with flavor along with corn and mushrooms. Sounds wild, but trust me - so good! It was overwhelming trying to decide what to get next and making sure I didn't over do it too much so I could try everything! Again I know this isn't the best since I don't know all the names and I have no pictures (I ate too quickly and then realized after the fact and didn't think empty/dirty dishes would be appealing). Just trust me when I say the buffet is worth it. I then had the baklava for dessert and that was also good! We can't wait to come back and order from the menu. Looking to try gyro for sure next time! Also the grocery side is great and has a lot of items and candies to choose from. Definitely a place you'll visit and not leave empty handed or hungry!

I called ahead and ordered: 2 kebab sandwiches 2 falafel sandwiches 2 kibbeh orders baba ghanoush fattoush salad The employee on the phone told me the order would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, I was told it would actually be another 17 minutes. I waited in my car, came back after that time passed, and then was told "maybe 13 more minutes." The biggest issue was not just the wait -- it was the lack of honesty and time management. If the restaurant had simply said from the beginning that they were behind and needed closer to an hour, I would have understood. What frustrates customers is being repeatedly given inaccurate wait times. People plan their schedules, families, and evenings around the times restaurants provide. After waiting inside, sitting directly in front of the counter, I watched the cook START preparing parts of my order almost an hour after I originally placed it. Items like the baba ghanoush, salad, and kibbeh -- foods that are usually already prepared -- were only assembled then. Meanwhile, customers who arrived after me and ordered at the restaurant were served before my takeout order was completed. Unfortunately, the food quality also suffered from the long delay: The sandwiches were soggy The salad had water pooled at the bottom and no dressing The kibbeh was soaked in grease For the amount paid, I expected much better service, communication, and food quality. A simple apology and realistic timing would have made a huge difference.
