The food is exquisite and quite unexpected inside an international market. Rakan Batman, owner/chef, has created a Mediterranean and Syrian menu of traditional favorites, including wraps and full plate meals. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The gyro's are packed with a generous portion of meat and fresh tzatziki sauce, tomatoes and lettuce. The gyro is the best in Indy. In house, hand cut fries are crispy and delicious, covered with a blend of spices. You won't find fries this good anywhere else. I love eggplant and the fresh baba ganouj was a tasty appetizer and artfully plated. The Falafel Wrap is large with fresh falafel, tomato's, onions, pickles and spices. The wrap is served with a yummy tahini lemon sauce. Our server was friendly and attentive. Rakan visited us at our table to see how we liked our meal. He is clearly passionate about the restaurant and has a vision of franchising soon. The dining area is not upscale or fancy, but is immaculate and comfortable. Mediterranean music plays in the background. They cater. There is plenty of parking in the shared lot. I'll be a regular. Batman's serves the best Mediterranean food in town.

Found this place based on a great review and was to see for myself that it was delicious! My lamb and beef in shawarma was tender and the seasoned fries were hot and crispy just the way I liked them. I was warmly greeted and well taken care for my meal. I almost didn't find them until I realized the location was inside the supermarket. The dining area is spacious and bright, great for a large group. Found out the name Batman Grill is because of the owners last name.

Maybe they grill first time Lol

Waited to leave my review, so I tried food from this place before was happy, but it happened, unfortunately not impressed like many places they open serve good quality and after certain time it goes down. Ordered kebab plate meat burned, lamb like rubber , but most important Grill meat had tasted like Grill been cleaned who knows when, If you order food from this place make sure open and

Gyro, yeah, I should've taken a pic while eating so you could see. Sorry!

I love this place! It is a hidden gem located inside the international market that used to be Marsh. It's on the corner closest to donatos. The employees are super friendly and treat you like a person, not just someone to get money from. The fries are absolutely perfect. Their strawberry juice was so good and hit the spot after a bike. The gyro was packed with meat. Definitely give this place a try. And tip them well! We need to help small businesses.

For other first-time…read morevisitors, I recommend letting the coffee sit for about 30 seconds before taking a sip so the fine grounds can settle to the bottom. Also, don't stir it after it's served, as that will bring the grounds back up into the coffee. Be sure to leave the last sip or two in the cup, since that's where the grounds collect. The coffee itself was excellent, but I would recommend that servers explain these details to first-time customers or at least ask whether they've had Turkish coffee before. A little guidance would make the experience even better for newcomers. We also ordered the hummus as an appetizer, and it was fantastic. The naan was served warm, and the hummus tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. It was the perfect way to start the meal. We also ordered The Bosphorus Special, a mixed grill platter featuring doner, kofte, chicken kebab, beef kebab, Adana kebab, and chicken Adana kebab, served with vegetables and white rice. Everything was absolutely delicious. The meats were cooked perfectly, tender, and packed with flavor. I'm so glad my significant other and I decided to share this entrée because the portion was very generous, and we still had plenty of leftovers to take home. While the service could have been a bit more attentive, it did not negatively impact our overall experience. After our food was served, our waitress did not check back to see how everything was or whether we needed anything additional. We also ended up with quite a few leftovers and requested to-go containers. Initially, only one small container was brought to the table, which required two additional follow-ups before we received enough containers for the remaining food. One suggestion I would offer is that, for tables ordering larger meals, it may be helpful for servers to proactively offer to box up leftovers as dishes are cleared. For just two people, our table became overcrowded rather quickly, especially with the generous portions. Since our waitress did not return after the food was served, it made managing the table and leftovers a little challenging. That said, we had a wonderful first experience overall. The food was outstanding, the portions were generous, and we look forward to coming back again in the future.

Both were delicious and well portioned. The guvec (veggie casserole) had eggplant, mushrooms, peppers, carrots, and other veggies plus rice and a small salad. The delight had carrots, eggplant, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, served on top of hummus and walnuts. The food was delivered quickly given the restaurant was full on a Friday night. Good thing we made reservations, which we will do again when we return.

I called ahead and ordered: 2 kebab sandwiches 2 falafel sandwiches 2 kibbeh orders baba ghanoush fattoush salad The employee on the phone told me the order would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, I was told it would actually be another 17 minutes. I waited in my car, came back after that time passed, and then was told "maybe 13 more minutes." The biggest issue was not just the wait -- it was the lack of honesty and time management. If the restaurant had simply said from the beginning that they were behind and needed closer to an hour, I would have understood. What frustrates customers is being repeatedly given inaccurate wait times. People plan their schedules, families, and evenings around the times restaurants provide. After waiting inside, sitting directly in front of the counter, I watched the cook START preparing parts of my order almost an hour after I originally placed it. Items like the baba ghanoush, salad, and kibbeh -- foods that are usually already prepared -- were only assembled then. Meanwhile, customers who arrived after me and ordered at the restaurant were served before my takeout order was completed. Unfortunately, the food quality also suffered from the long delay: The sandwiches were soggy The salad had water pooled at the bottom and no dressing The kibbeh was soaked in grease For the amount paid, I expected much better service, communication, and food quality. A simple apology and realistic timing would have made a huge difference.

We planned to wait until 5:30 but we were told it was fine and we were seated immediately. The service throughout our meal was outstanding. Located in a cute blue house, this is conveniently located near Lucas Oil Stadium and there was a huge concert going on the night we were there, but we were still allowed to park in their parking area. Inside has nice lighting and is pretty plain but has a homey feel. The menu contains many items we're familiar with having visited Greece twice. So I'm going to be a little critical here with my review of the food. I ordered the Greek Spaghetti, which I have had in Greece. Unfortunately this was not at all what I was expecting or anything like Greek spaghetti. What I was served was basically Prego spaghetti sauce with pieces of gyro in it. Traditional Greek spaghetti (or Makaronia me Kima) is a wonderful sauce that's seasoned with all kinds of memorable spices. It's definitely not pieces of gyro meat thrown in a sauce. So while this was fine, it was not what I truly wanted or thought I was getting so I was pretty disappointed. My husband got the chicken souvlaki and that was better but still not quite like what I remember. The meat was almost smoked and lacked some of the Greek spices that gives it a distinct taste. And the tzatziki...well, let's just say it tastes like whipped feta and was lacking in flavor too. I did enjoy the pita bread. Our service was underwhelming as well. It took a while for anyone to notice we were there and needed to be seated and the server basically did the bare minimum, never even asking if we wanted our water refilled. Overall, it was fine. If I had never been to Greece, I may have a different opinion but this isn't someplace I really want to go back to.
