Straight outta Palestine. These brothers are real, and their food is just like Momma's Arabic. The chicken and beef shawarma in a bowl was a healthy, easy-on-the-stomach option. I spent a week in Indy, ate there 3 times, and walked it off at the nearby Ritchey Woods. Barakallahu feek, Mr. Shawarma Team!

Please and quick service. Clean restaurant. Priced well for what you get, large portions. I personally did not like the flavor, there was an unfamiliar spice used. I did enjoy the cole slaw, fries and pickled veggies (pickled in olive juice).

I have been here twice and each time I have tried something different. The customer service is great. The employees had answered questions I had and made recommendations. The first time I went I got the chicken pita which was really good. It had fries in it and the chicken in it was very juicy. It came with dipping sauces which was the Chili sauce and pormagrant molasses sauce. My friend had got the beef wrap which she loved. We had sat inside and had our meal which the restaurant was very welcoming and decor was really nice. The prices were very reasonable especially for the amount of food you got. They had allowed us to try the TrFalafel-chick pea, which had onions and garlic dipping sauce. It was different but it was good. Especially for it to be my first time trying something different I was satisfied. They have an award system so if you will be going here a lot I say join to earn free or discounted items.

Very nice staff! Very welcoming upon entry to The store. Store is easy to get to when leaving the big club store near by. I like the setup where you can see exactly what is going on and how your food is made. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap , no pickles sub sauce for spicy garlic sauce and onions. The combo came with fries and a drink for about $15. The fries are just fries ...nothing Special and I would skip those next time. The chicken shawarma wrap is very good and nice size!! So yummy! I will definitely be back!

We were in the area and saw Mr Shawarma. I had been craving shawarma so it was fate! We both tried the chicken shawarma in a wrap without pickles. The chicken was juicy and nicely seasoned. They gave us some picked veggies and I tried one with the wrap and I gotta say next time I should keep the pickles. Service was very friendly. They helped us pick out a new soda to try that was delicious. We also received all the sauces on the side which was fun to try! I want to try it in a pita and with the spicy garlic sauce.

I absolutely LOVE Middle Eastern cuisine and discovering a new shawarma spot near my house was like an early Christmas present! Mr. Shawarma, a new gem near the Fishers border off 96th Street, and it's an absolute must-visit for authentic Middle Eastern street food! Run by three brothers, the restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. I ordered the chicken shawarma with their spicy garlic sauce, and it took the flavor up a notch--absolutely delicious! The shawarma was juicy and perfectly seasoned, roasted on a proper vertical spit for that authentic touch. The pita was soft, the veggies were crisp, and the pickled turnips added just the right tang. The fries were fresh, crispy, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. They also serve Sama soda, which is imported from Jordan, adding to the next-level authentic flavors and making the whole experience even more special. All in all, Mr. Shawarma is a fantastic addition to the local food scene. I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend checking it out!

A true hidden gem!!! This was my first time having Shawarma, and it will not be my last!!! My husband got the beef shawarma wrap, I got the chicken shawarma wrap, and we shared an Arabic salad. I cannot begin to explain the incredible flavors that burst in my mouth. My only complain is that I wish the Arabic salad was more lemony. Their freshly made pickles are quite different and incredibly refreshing. They are not too salty or overly packed with vinegar. This is such a chill and relaxed vibe, they had Arabic soda, very delicious, I got the guava and my husband got the pineapple.

Mr. Shawarma all day, everyday. Like the decorative neon sign in the dining room says, "So good, it should be illegal." Our first, and not the last at all, visit. The staff are 1000% helpful and friendly. I ordered the beef shawarma wrap (as is), the tabbouleh, and a side order of fries. Everything was outstanding. Finger licking even. Yes. I got called out by the staff for how much I enjoyed the food because of me licking my fingers.

I honestly can't get enough of this place. I went back again and this time I tried the fried Kibbeh which I enjoyed. The guy told me I'd like it and he was right! It's basically like ground beef thats fried in a batter, good with the garlic sauce. He also gave me a tiramisu on the house after seeing me eyeing it. Can't say enough good things about their customer service. Unfortunately I'm not a huge coffee fan so I didn't care too much for the tiramisu but I can easily seeing it being a favorite for coffee lovers. Ill be back again for sure haha.

Let's start with the food. I ordered a chicken shawarma Arab style with hummus. The shawarma was top tier; the perfect combination of crisp and soft. It's a blast of flavor and your taste buds will thank you dearly. I've had shawarma all over the United States and the Middle East, this is up there with the best of them. The French fries that came with the shawarma were also great to eat on the side. The hummus was delicious. I genuinely have no complaints about this meal. If I lived nearby I would eat here at least 2 times a week. The service and ambiance was perfect for a family , couples or single people to come in and enjoy. The staff is extremely friendly. I will definitely be coming back for more the next time I'm in town.

Great experience with Mr Shawarma. The beef and chicken double was a great choice to taste both options and all the dipping choices. The beef was slightly better in my opinion. Loved the pomegranate molasses and spicy garlic dip. The falafel was done perfectly and was also wonderful to use with the sauces. Great service and the desire to make your experience great. Saw it on a foodie TikTok, had to try it. Always wanted to try shawarma. Its incredible. The flavor is outstanding. I got a beef and fries and drink and it was like $16. You get a ton of food. I had to save half for later. Friendly service, it's made to order, so be patient. You can eat in or take out. If you're ready to try something different and delicious, get up here now. read more

This place was recommended by Kiara, so I decided to check it out. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, which made for a great first impression. Since it was my first visit, I wasn't sure what to order, so I looked over the menu and asked one of the employees for recommendations. He was very friendly and took the time to explain a few of the popular options. I decided on the Arabic Style Double Shawarma which came with two rolls cut into bite sized pieces so I could try both the chicken and beef. I was undecided which one I wanted so went with both. I knew the portion would be too much for me to finish, but I planned to take the leftovers home for my family. It came in a box and was around $27 which included fries, coleslaw, and several dipping sauces. When I opened the box, I was happy with the portion size, it definitely felt worth the price. The presentation was nice, and there was plenty of food. My only complaint was that none of the sauces were labeled, so I had no idea what each one was. After trying them, I believe my favorite was the garlic sauce. It would have been helpful to know what each sauce was before dipping. The coleslaw was surprisingly good and ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal. The rolls themselves were well seasoned and flavorful. Between the two, I preferred the chicken over the beef, although both were tasty. The only downside was that the fries were placed underneath the rolls, so they became soggy from the steam and juices. I think separating the fries from the rolls would help them stay crisp longer. I ended up eating most of the fries first since I knew they wouldn't reheat as well, and I only ate two chicken pieces and one beef piece before I was full. I took the rest home for my family to try. They thought it was just okay and said it wasn't something they'd request again. Since the sauces weren't labeled, they were also hesitant to try them. I enjoyed trying it and appreciate the value for the price, but I'm not sure it's something I'd order again. They have other menu items that looked good so I may try those out next time. We ate inside, they have comfy dining seat options including booths and tables. I enjoyed the lit up Mr. Shawarma sign. Since I didn't purchase a drink at this visit, I wish they would have complimentary water station. read more

I love chicken shawarma and that is exactly what I ordered. This spot opened later last year and I am so glad they did! They serve slow roasted meats, pita and house-made sauces with the flavors of Middle Eastern cooking. They also offer salads, hummus, and bowls. Shawarmas: You can choose beef or chicken and add as many fixings as you like. Order it Arabic style to have your shawarma cut into 5 bite sized pieces. I ordered the meal which comes with fries and a drink for around $15 which felt like a decent price as you get a lot of food. The fries were pretty standard, but I appreciate the seasoning salt that they add for extra flavor. Looking forward to trying the beef shawarma next! read more

Found this spot and love middle eastern cuisine. We ordered online for pick up. Upon arrival our food wasn't quite ready but I chatted with the owner, Mo, who was super nice. He finished up our food. One thing I liked is they smash the falafel down in the wrap so it spreads out and is easier to roll and eat. We also got the chicken schwarma. It was good but not as good as the falafel. We also received fries and they were standard. We did carry out, but it looked clean and nice inside to sit and dine in as well. read more

From the moment I walked in I noticed how clean the space is, all the tables are wiped and counters are clean. Service is amazing, fast, polite and with a smile! Extra sauces were given fo free and they make sure to load up your food. The food is another aspect, they have a great variety and it is delicious! BEST SHAWARMA / MIDDLE EASTERN FOOD IN TOWN! We are Lebanese and have tried them all. This is hands down BEST we've had in Indy! Super authentic and excellent quality. Our new favorite place!!!!!!!! Have already been back multiple times and will keep coming back. So so so glad it's open! The sandwiches are amazing and we love the bowls too. You have to try! read more

The chicken was dry and my taboula salad was not authentic over dressed and very wilted. The service was not it. They take care of their own first no matter if you come in first or not. The place is clean but that's to be expected at a new location. Needless to say they will never get my money again. I told my foodie friends not to go. It's not worth it at all. read more

I lived in Detroit and worked in Dearborn for 5 years, so when I moved to Indy I was desperately looking for some great Arabic food...particularly the garlic. This place is pretty spot on and I've tried a lot! The shawarma was awesome and the service was very friendly and I felt appreciated. Go there now and enjoy! You're welcome! read more

I'm Jordanian, and finding good shawermah outside of home isn't easy. But this place truly brought me back--it felt just like home! The flavors were authentic, the meat was tender and juicy, and the seasoning was spot on. On top of that, the service was excellent--everyone was so welcoming and kind, which made the whole experience even better. Great food, great vibes--I'll definitely be coming back! read more

The chicken udon noodles were fantastic- packed full of flavor and tons of toppings in it. The short rib fell a little short of my expectations, but I had high expectations to begin with. We have had the short rib multiple times in the past- and normally it is a hunk of meat, similar to a roast. Now, it is strips of tiny pieces of meat with a bone attached to it. If the owner/general manager is reading this- GO BACK TO THE ROAST STYLE- the strips of meat was too much work to eat. Still packed full of great flavor though. I had the bridge to Anshun for my drink. I had never had Baiju before, but glad I tried it. It was a tangy drink that was also sweet- would say it's a must try. We were able to order 2 rounds of drinks, share an appetizer, delve into an amazing conversation, enjoy our dinner without rush AND order dessert, summing up our conversation in the allotted time. It's doable! There are also times where they may not have to strictly enforce, however if you know you like to spend more time on your meal and in conversation, try coming on a weekday or coming earlier! Wife and I went with the Brie and Oysters for starts. Delicious, but personally the oysters were a bit small but they were delicious. The Brie came with bread and a jam that was a crazy good combo. The main floor dining like a lunch vibe, but it turned out to be a cozy choice. For appetizers, we started with the cornbread after our focaccia was unfortunately not the best. Seemed to be over-proofed. The cornbread was absolutely phenomenal and a must-have! A special shoutout to our waitress, Arya, who noticed our disappointment with the focaccia and generously brought us the cornbread on the house. That kind of service is truly memorable! I also had the beets and peaches salad, which was refreshing but a tad overdressed. Still, I couldn't resist finishing the entire dish. For my main course, I ordered the lasagna, and I can confidently say it was one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't overloaded with cheese and instead complemented by mushrooms and pesto, and surprisingly light on the stomach. My husband chose the filet and rated it an 8/10, saying he thoroughly enjoyed it. We were so full by the end that we skipped dessert. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. The only downside was the atmosphere; coming from Chicago, we expected a more bustling vibe on a Thursday night. It seems Indianapolis is a bit quieter during the week. Overall, we had a delightful dining experience, and hats off to Arya for her exceptional service!
