One of Kind Late-Night Experience My friends and I went to Broad Ripple to enjoy hookah and all the other locations were at capacity, but we didn't want to end our night early and decided to try this place out. Have you entered into a place and wondered, "What have I got myself into." That's the feeling I got when we walked intoNew Paradise. We didn't know what to expect because after all, it looks like a house from the outside. It was a total of 5 of us and We each paid 10.00 for admission. We were able to try 3 different flavors, Sex on the Beach (Favorite!), Mixed Fruit, and Melon. The atmosphere was relaxed and the music was good! Oh and you get free water.

Hummus!

When I first went into this establishment I had some reservations due to the decor, faded posters of gyros in the windows, and the menu looked as if it had been printed on a home printer. My friend and I ordered a hookah and some hummus to start. I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG! When the hummus arrived at the table it looked and tasted AMAZING~! The proprietor told us they make the hummus fresh on site. After this I ordered a lamb gyro special. For $9.25 I got a wonderful gyro, fries, soda, and baklava. The falafel was soft and fresh, the veggies were fresh, the fries were cooked to perfection and the meat melted in my mouth. After the main course I was very excited to try the baklava. It tasted as good as it looked! It was flaky, moist, and melted in my mouth. YOU have to try this place! The only things I would change is turn the music down a bit and hire a few more servers. (Our service declined when a few large groups showed up and it took awhile to get our bill.) DEFINITELY check this place out if you like middle eastern cuisine!

Pretty slow right now. Can't wait til it gets dark and starts up :)

This is my new go to place in broad ripple. Yes, it doesn't look the greatest, but it definitely makes up for it with quality hookah and awesome customer service. Last night was my first time being there but one of my friends frequents there and the owner immediately recognized her and treated all of us amazingly. Can't wait to go back next week!

I always get great service and friendly conversation

The owner welcomed and seated us promptly. He brought us a complimentary pot of delicious tea with beautiful little cups. European carvings decorated the walls. The dining room is cozy. For a moment, I was transported to Europe, far from Indiana, sitting in a little cafe sipping tea. I had the falafel sandwich with fries. The falafel is incredibly crispy outside and soft and flavorful inside. The sandwich was served as a wrap with lettuce and tzatziki. The portion of fries was enormous. The fries were hot, perfectly crispy and not overly salty. My husband had the gyro with fries. The gyro is a work of art, overflowing with tzatziki. The pita was fresh and the lamb flavorful. I took half my sandwich and fries home for dinner. The sandwich was just as good several hours later. The restaurant does a good carry out business as well. The dinner plates looked delicious.

The gentleman who helped us out was super friendly and helpful. When I mentioned some of the things I like, he suggested the gyros plate which comes with salad, rice, pita bread, and hummus. The hummus might be the best I've ever had. My SO had a beef shawarma sandwich with yellow rice. Delicious. Everything was delicious. I love the combination of flavors. The gyros meat was tender and amazing. For dessert, we had the best baklava ever. Seriously. The layers were perfect. It was sweetened perfectly. It was the first visit by my SO who was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the delicious taste and great service. I wish I lived closer to this place but am glad the great restaurant is still great after all these years.

Small, hole-in-the-wall, shops don't get much attention on Yelp. They typically cater to their…read moreneighborhoods, and do not typically get many out-of-the-area customers. Get Connected Wireless and Smokeshop is one of those places. Get Connected Wireless and Smokeshop is a small shop with a large inventory. Most customers visit the shop to, as the name suggests, get themselves connected with mobile service - and to purchase tobacco products. While I'm happy with my service with AT&T, I had a strong desire for very specific tobacco products. As one who recently returned from the Middle East, I was craving a good shisha. A friend of mine mentioned that this shop carried a wide array of hookahs, hookah supplies, and plenty of shisha tobacco. Being relatively close to my home, I thought I'd give this local smokeshop a shot prior to turning to Amazon. I'm glad I did, hence the five-star review. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by the store's owner, Muhammad. I explained that I was looking for a non-Chinese made hookah. While he carries many inexpensive, Chinese-made pipes, he also had a large selection of Egyptian-made ones. Once I made my selection, Muhammad threw in a bunch of extras like coals, tongs, and several boxes of Middle Eastern shishas. Upon smoking the pipe, I found it to be of equal quality of those used by local hookah bars. I'm a very satisfied customer of Get Connected Wireless and Smokeshop. If you're in the market for a quality hookah, please consider this shop before any other.

Place gas great hours, does not have a great selection of vapes. But not a bad place..read more

The music could have been a tiny bit better, but everything else hit the spot. I ordered the blackened salmon, grits, and okra, and the food was delicious. I'm usually pretty picky about restaurant grits and typically only have a bite or two to taste, but these were surprisingly good--I ate most of them! For food, I had the "best of both worlds" dinner which included a blackened catfish and a fried catfish. 10/10!!! Both filets were hot, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. For sides I had the broccoli and the loaded mashed potatoes. Both were great.

The waitress was nice and thorough, assisting me with recommended cocktails by inquiring about my preferred liquor. They do not sell fancy drinks (e.g., Chocolate or Dirty Martinis). I was the first one there from my party so I really enjoyed the personalized service. As the lounge got busy some of the the cousins felt the service was delayed. One mentioning their food was cold so the waitress took it back to the kitchen and immediately brought back a microwaved heated plate. The Southern Shrimp and Grits was definitely my favorite! The cremini mushroom sauce was a show stopper! I also enjoyed the Tequila Sunrise, I upgraded to Casamigos;). It's Broad ripple so parking is always at a minimal and never convenient.
