One of the only things that helps is having the support and knowledge that a professional provides and Diana and Goosey were really great. To start, Diana responded to my initial messages on a holiday. It would be understandable if she didn't, but she did and that alone helped me feel like I was starting to solve my potential problem. She and Goosey showed up first thing in the morning and got to work. They were very thorough and she gave me tips and product suggestions that I could find online. I feel like if I have any more questions I could contact her no problem. Hopefully I'll never need her services again but I would not hesitate to contact her if I do and I'd definitely refer any friends to her. Plus, Goosey is a total sweetheart.

He explained to me that since they don't offer extermination services, only inspection, they didn't have a conflict of interest in the inspection. Both the dog handler and Jon offered me great advice and helpful links to help make the fumigation prep as efficient as possible. Would absolutely recommend them. It's worth noting that they do offer a discount for Yelp reviews, but on my honor, I would have given them the same 5 star rating and written my review exactly the same.

Once payment was received, that changed. It was impossible to get a response on scheduling the second visit. The customer service representative answers every question with "100%," when in fact, there was 0% service, responsiveness, or resolution. I spent THREE MONTHS! calling, texting, emailing - when I threatened legal action I was told I would be reimbursed for the full amount of my payment - then promptly ghosted again. In the same email, they stated they would not contest if I chose to dispute through my bank. I was informed by my bank two months later that they had, in fact, denied my claim based on the merchants information. The amount of time and energy I have invested into this is so deeply unacceptable. This company should never be used, and should not be allowed to process payments or transactions of any kind. A gross mishandling of money, time, trust, and customer service. I would give 0 stars if Yelp allowed, truly horrific experience.

Don't Fear : Rich will be there!…read more My wife had developed a recurring painful and itchy series of welts with no known cause. It was her dermatologist who asked if we could have bed bugs?!? We were caught off guard: No way- Learning that you have Bed Bugs is gross and we were scared. We didn't know anyone who had been through this ordeal. We went online and found the this company. The web site design also made an impression: clean , neat and credible . Within minutes of my panicked phone call Rich call back and responded with: "It's going to be ok." If you're ( unfortunately) reading these reviews , you will appreciate how important these words are. I learned that being a New York Survivor of Bed Bugs is neither an exclusive nor a shameful club. The prep list given to us by our building's pest control company was very long and beyond daunting. There was no way in hell we could have done the prep on our own. Rich and his crew arrived the next morning and got to work. He walked us you through each step of the extermination prep and after- prep process. He was also available to our family throughout the weekend should we have questions or just felt freaked out and needed extra reassurance. His Team is a well oiled machine. They handled our home , including fragile pieces of art work, china, clothing , everything: carefully and with respect. They work fast. The price is fair given the services that they provide.

TLDR: Like many other reviews here, we did not end up using Rich's services because he told us we did not actually need them. We were being swindled by other bed bug services telling us we had an infestation, and Rich helped us realize we were bed bug free even though it meant losing our business. After noticing a few bites, we had a canine inspection from a provider of our building's choice. The inspection was positive, ruling that we had bed bugs. However, the inspection lasted less than 10 minutes and the canine handler didn't attempt any visual inspection of the areas that the dog alerted. We then reached out to Rich to help us prep for treatment. He insisted on an in-person assessment before accepting the job. When he visited our apartment, he visually inspected all areas where the canine had alerted. Since he did not see any visual evidence of bed bugs, he informed us that he was skeptical of any infestation and recommended that we get a second canine inspection before proceeding with treatment. He connected us with his trusted colleague John Downey at Pest Pro Inc. who arranged for Eric Miller to come do a second canine inspection. Eric and his canine came and performed an inspection lasting 40 minutes. Eric's dog never alerted after being taken around the entire apartment multiple times. Eric also performed a thorough visual inspection, completely taking apart our couch and bed to do so. Eric concluded that we absolutely did not have bed bugs and that my bites were likely from dust mites - a common and unconcerning thing in NYC that does not require extermination of any kind. Thank you Rich!!!!

Luis picked up the phone early in the morning, had me send a photo of my bites to him, confirmed that they were most likely bb's and had Danny come that morning to confirm. I specified that he must move appliances, stuff gaps with steel wool, get under radiator covers and plug holes with foam-- no more but no less than that. The other two places said they needed to do an assessment which in my experience can mean just forcing you to pay and stay home all day twice instead of once. The person who showed up was new to the job but came prepared as requested and did a great job. They plugged behind my stove, placed traps behind my fridge, plugged under several radiators, and left glue traps out. In the end a wooden trap that I placed caught the mouse and I haven't seen another since. I'm pretty certain that the kitchen mice were coming in behind the stove which pest pro mouse-proofed well. It was $325 in the end but it only took one appointment and the problem is totally solved so I would use them again, though I don't think I'll have to because they really sealed up the place and recommended some follow ups which I can do myself for larger holes that they couldn't handle wit steel wool and foam.
