Chose ODIN as our bed bug exterminators. We just moved to NYC and found d our flat to be riddled with these creatures. Did some research and they came in top 5. After speaking to several companies they made the cut. Their bed bug extermination service is comprehensive and uses what we found through our research to be the a combination of the most affective techniques (we had our entire flat HEPA vacuumed, Steam treated, use of special machines to inject multiple insecticides into wall cavities), all of our furniture was then pre-treated with several non-toxic products, and a final perimeter application was made using conventional insecticides. Their overall attention to detail was aces! From the get go they spoke professionalism; well-kempt technicians, used boot footies not to mess up our hardwood floors, covered fragile items we had forgotten to put away as per their instruction, laid down paper floor covering over the floors, set-up an air scrubber to filter out any airborne particles ( basically washing the air for their own safety and ours). We came home to a clean and rather pleasant smelling apartment. The issue was resolved rather quickly and by the second follow-up appointment (2 1/2 weeks after the initial treatment) we felt comfortable in saying the issue was already gone. Before they left they performed complimentary inspection of all adjoining apartments next to ours. The issue was luckily centralized to our flat. Their k9 dog was with them and that added an additional air of confidence to their very meticulous physical inspection. Gene of Odin Bed Bug Exterminators coordinated the treatment of our 3 bedroom duplex, making me feel comfortable and in control at a time when my world was falling apart. From the initial call he took the time to explain how bed bugs infest, occupy, and reproduce in the home. The ODIN team responded quickly and was able to do their job even though my preparations were not as good as they should have been. (I did not leave myself enough time to prep the apartment, so on their first visit many rooms were cluttered and hard to navigate.) I had many questions about the prep, and ODIN did its best to answer them. That said, there were still a few minor miscommunications. After I pointed them out to the owner, he resolved to look into improving those aspects of ODIN's service. When I made a mistake that might have messed up one of the treatments, the owner graciously came back and fixed it at no charge, since it was caused by one of the aforementioned communication errors. I made sure the apartment was in much better shape for ODIN's follow-up visit, which went like clockwork. The best news was that there have been no bites or other signs of bedbug activity since ODIN's first visit 9 weeks ago, which suggests to me that Gene and his team wiped those suckers out on their first visit (and then made sure the little critters never had a chance to make a comeback). Very positive experience with ODIN: - had called three companies before choosing them: 1) a national well known firm: very bad experience with the specific branch as I was not able to speak to anyone after the quotation was given.
