This review is for the car wash. So sad!! I loved university car wash and was a loyal customer for over 10 years. They recently changed the car wash completely to a very basic drive through version. It's $7.99 compared to $10 in the area so I gave it a try. Big NO. First off the back of my jeep (rear window and below) did not get washed... the vacuums are set up so poorly I couldn't pull up far enough to get the hose to reach my trunk. You need TOKENS to use the vacuum too. What in the world? So dated. I had to walk in twice for tokens because it only gives 5 minutes. This was a bad experience to say the least. If I could give NEGATIVE STARS, I would!! This place used to have a stamp card system for the car wash. Get 9 stamps, the 10th wash is free. I went to go get my free wash last Sat 04/05 to see the Car Wash was under renovation. Called today to see if the car wash was open and was told yes but they are no longer doing the stamp card. Ok, fine. No new stamps. She said they are not even honoring the free wash if you have a card with 9 stamps already filled!! WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS??? She said they had been telling people that the stamp cards were going to become obsolete. NOT ONE PERSON told me this!!!! I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager. This is the closest gas station to CSUF and to the freeway off of Placentia. A major car wash is available after you fill up your vehicle. The convenience store is also available for food and hot and cold snacks. Access back to Nutwood can be tricky due to the cross traffic and the vicinity of the traffic light. read more

The car wash tells you to stop way before the machine. I figured it's because the machine would move over my vehicle, it did, only halfway.. the rollers never touched my car, so I tried to creep forward in between the cycles and the Carwash just stopped, the dryer went saying I had 60 seconds, but stopped at 35. Then the vacuums I pulled up to weren't even working. The attendant was kind, tried to figure out how to let me run through again, but ended up giving me my cash back. No complaints about the people, but the calibration is off, so the car wash doesn't even work, and the "free vacuums" are just decoration. We purchased inside and outside car detail wash and paid $100. What we received was a regular car wash with mats wet vacuumed. It was still very dirty with hairs rolling on the car floor and multiple missed spots. The job was worse than $15 regular car wash around my neighborhood. Very disappointed. This place used to be great. Came here today to get a wash and seat express ($60) and while the seats were cleaned well, the rest of the truck was subpar at best. Windows were still covered in dirt and debris was still in front of windshield where leaves fall. I had to ask them to come back and clean the windows and vacuum out the leaves and pine needles. The person tried to tell me the spots on the windshield was paint from overspray from someone having their house painted, which is absolutely not the case. It was just dirt and such stuck to windshield that needed more than a wipe over with a cloth. I am bummed as this had been my go-to place for some time. read more

I purchased a Groupon since I'm trying to find a car wash that I can commit to. When I called to make an appointment the first 3 times no one answered. I called again and tried to schedule something I was told they'd give me the car wash phone number to then be put on hold which I was fine with, then they answered and mid conversation with me they started screaming at someone that worked there and having a conversation to only hangout on me. They all acted like they had nothing to do with it. Been eyeing a car wash and this place has team of 6-13 dedicated members that hand wash the interior, exterior, wheels etc. Paid $26 (seems pricey) but reasonable for a thorough and detailed EXCELLENT job. Takes about 20-30 mins. Quick and easy process. I also realized I paid $120 for interior detailing when they have a Groupon for it for $80. So I decided to go out of my way to cash in a coupon that read 14.99 on it for the "Gold". Was charged 18.49 but they took 3 dollars off of whatever the guy at the drive-in wrote... then the manager proceeded to tell me that it was an "old coupon" despite the coupon itself saying it expires 9/1/2018.. it doesn't and shouldn't matter if it's considered an old coupon or that your prices were raised an extra dollar for GOD knows why. , ITS VALID...it's not my fault you didn't send me the updated ones. Anyways I know you don't care, but you lost me as a customer for gas,Gatorade, expensive cigarettes, and now car washes.. look at the disclaimer on the bottom portion of said coupon. I went here because I wanted to get a hand wash and wax. I bought the Groupon special for a hand wax. Of course they don't tell you that you need to also pay for a wash. So this "deal" actually isn't much of one. They did a decent job, and I'm not leaving a bad review because of the cash wash. I'm leaving a negative review because of the BAD GASOLINE I got there. When I got my car wash, I filled up the tank. I own a Porsche and I only put in Chevron Supreme gas in the tank. After about a week I got intermittent "Reduced Engine Power" warnings but no check engine light and the car started and ran fine. I took it to my mechanic this morning to have it checked out (Mike's Foreign Car BTW which I can't say enough positive things about). They contacted me 2 hours later telling me that I either filled up with regular 87 octane gas or the gas was bad. The car was knocking and pinging but there was no CEL. The mechanic drained the remaining fuel in the tank and filled it up with 91 octane. Problem solved. I went back and checked the receipt and I definitely paid for Supreme gas. What I got was not Supreme. I remember that it was Supreme because the price for gas was higher there than the Chevron I normally go to. This Groupon "deal" actually ended up costing me an additional $105 for labor and fuel. Needless to say, I'm never going there again. read more

After having not such a great experience when I first tried them I have came back a total of 6 times and will next buy their 70 plan for ten washes. It's a hand wash and a hand dry they have extra options depending on the services needed. The service is ok the washes are better. Make sure to buy in bulk after you try them first. That price in the area is pretty good, there are not a lot of good places to take your car to get full service cleaning. This one has wax options too. Give it a shot if your car is gross. I like having a clean car feel like it runs better haha. The payment system after you leave your car is just go in to the store and pay at the clerk. They will give you a place card to give to the person who is finished your car. read more

I've been coming here consistently as a student at CSUF, and I've been coming here consistently as an alumni of CSUF. The prices are great, the work is superb, and they are VERY quick. When I'm cleaning my car, I'm not looking it to be 100% clean. I know after driving it for 30 minutes it'll get dirty again. I am looking at the big picture. -Is the floor of my car perfectly vacuumed? Yes -Is my window free of any dust and previous water drops? Yes -Are my side windows clean? Yes -Did they clean my steering wheel? Yes if I mention it, no but they'll do it if I ask. -Are there specks of water drops next to my back tire? Yeah but I don't really care. -Does my car smell bad? No, and the added bonus is that they add a scent in it too! I love Vanilla (: I will always continue to come here again, and I'll make the drive to do so although I live 40 minutes away now. This car wash goes WAY more than most, and they offer a doable price, especially seniors over 60. They vacuum longer than most, making sure they got in the small area where your crumbs get stuck. Then they hand dry it several times, checking all the little areas where your doors get forgotten. They are busy because they are GOOD! What a joke!!! $50 ($39.99+$10.00 for truck) for hand wash and wax that took 15 minutes...same thing as a regular wash except they slap some "goop" while they're drying the vehicle. This so-called wax was not completely removed from many parts of the truck and when asked about it, the guy says "it's just armor-all." Dirt and other debris still left all over the truck and interior was not much better. They do a half-ass vacuum with not much attention to any other parts of the interior. Complete waste of money!! For years this has been my go-to for a car wash. Unfortunately, this place is now on the "DO NOT USE" list. I have an SUV and have to pay $2 more because of the "extra" effort. I'm not sure what that extra effort is as they haven't wiped down the roof of my SUV the last several times and it now has water stains the will need to be buffed out. If that weren't bad enough, today I paid $26 for a gold wash and they barely wiped the water off - they didn't dress the tires, they didn't wash the inside windows, they didn't even use air freshener.
