I wanted to update my original review because I normally really do love this place. I am local to the area and used to come here about once a week. Even though I have since moved away, I still miss this car wash and have continued coming back. It really is far superior to other car washes I've visited. The value is excellent, the staff is usually friendly, they are always cleaning, and the equipment does one of the best jobs around. I had a moment where I felt disappointed, which led me to leave a more critical review at first. But after giving it some time and continuing to come back, I want to be fair and honest. Overall, this place has continued to stand out for the quality of service, cleanliness, and consistency. No business is perfect, and sometimes busy days can create off moments, but that does not take away from the fact that this is still one of the best car washes around. I have visited plenty of others, and this place is by far superior. Because of that, I am changing my opinion back and giving credit where it is due. I was looking for a new car wash place and decided to come give this one a try. I'm glad I bought a single use instead of a membership because the quality of this wash is not very good. None of the bird poo came off my windshield nor did it wash away any of the spots - frankly, I would have been better spraying my car with a hose since it had the same effect and wouldn't have cost $20. I bought the top car wash they had available. So there's no way to purchase a decent wash. read more

TURNING RADIUS for a truck has been bad and last month just got worse. the manager put in 4 new cement cones because of the shorter turning radius. This time I went thru with my truck I hit the new cone and did alot of damage to my truck. the manager ran out and collected the broken pieces because this keeps happening in the driveway. They need to get this changed. this happens everyday to someone the manager stated. I hope they are going to pay for this. I also have video of cars trying to avoid this cement post. it really needs to be redesigned. I will be going to the city of fullerton with this concern. My personal rating is a 4 store for rapids however, I honestly marked this as a "maybe" recommendation because I feel you have to come with the proper expectations. Firstly, it's a drive through car wash. And yes, as you'd expect there are different tiers of car wash you can purchase. The most basic wash is $8, and from there it climbs $4 per tier until you get to their premium wash at $20. Now the ever looming question of "does it make a difference?" That I can't answer for you because my cheap a$$ always gets the basic lol Now here's where the 4 stars come to play. 1) for $8 am I pretty much paying for a squirt of soap and a water rinse? Yes. 2) is my car still fairly dirty after and I have to once over with a wet towel to really remove the bird poops and bugs? Yes. 3) do I spend my sweet time using the vacuum and air hose to clean out the inside of my car. Heck yes. Listen, the base wash is literally you paying for the convenience of not have to drag out the hose at home to rinse your car off. But, if you enjoy washing your car like I do, the free vacuum and air hose is well worth the money. Yes there is a sign that asks you kindly limit your time for those waiting however, I've also never seen so many cars there that anyone is waiting (there are plenty of stalls) So if you know what to expect and you enjoy putting in the elbow grease to really wash your car, definitely give this place a visit. This car wash is getting worse by the day! The tire shine hardly ever works and when it does it gets all over the sides of the car before you even drive off. I had an incident that I brought to the manger Rubens attention and he was very rude only saying it was not his problem. I took the matter to his corporate and they side with the manger and have no accountability for how he treated a loyal paying customer that had multiple cars on my account. Enough is enough. As a monthly member I have to say, this place is consistently bad. CONSISTENTLY. If you like waiting in long lines for a extended periods of time, people arriving after you being let in first and mediocre car washes, this place is for you!!! It says "no honking" but I'm going to keep honking to get someone's attention. GEEZ. The car wash is 5/10. Wheels are always dirty. Overhead Dryer mechanism is always broken. They take FOREVER to open the gate. Please tell me, why does it take so long to open the gate? The car wash down the street has a faster technology--gate opens right away. Why not have one line for cash and one for members? Just a few mintues ago, I was second in line behind the slowest car ever. 7 people who came after me went in before me in the other lane. EVERY DARN TIME. Last week I was the first in line and nobody is paying attention. Then they help the cash customer first who comes after me, then it takes another 30 seconds to let me in. Why is it so hard for you guys to let people in an organized speedy fashion?? The older gentleman there with the dark hair absolutely worthless. This place stinks. Rapids Express Car Wash - Fullerton, CA Easily my least favorite location. Out of all the Rapids spots, this one's the weakest link. Feels older, rough around the edges, and the customer service is nonexistent. Had issues with my monthly membership not reading right. At most other locations, they'll work with you--maybe slide you through depending on the situation. Here? They'll straight-up pull you out of line without a second thought. Rear wiper got damaged going through their tunnel. Yeah, there's a sign saying they're not liable, but the setup here almost feels engineered to break stuff. I flagged it to the staff--guy fished out the broken piece and told me they "don't tape anymore." Other locations still do, or at least ask. Not here. The vacuums? Half the air compressors don't even work. No signs, no warnings, no urgency to fix it. That's like running a burger joint with no buns and shrugging it off like it's not a big deal. Where's the management? Where's the accountability? I've seen solid GMs walk around, check in with customers, hand out towels or waters--something to show they care. This place? Ghost town. No ownership, no apology, no pride. There's too much competition for this kind of laziness. I'll still stop by if I have to, but my expectations here are basement level. read more

This is my local car wash. Not a huge fan of the location because of the way you have to turn in. However, the workers have always been really nice. It was super busy this Sunday and they were doing good controlling the cars and making sure it wasn't too chaotic. Prices are okay. I frequently use this car wash, but on November 30th, I chose the one-time $20 option instead of my membership because I was washing a different car. However, the car wash machine was set to the basic option for all cars. This isn't the first time I've experienced issues here. In the past, the tire cleaning machine didn't work, or the drying towel machine wasn't functioning. I've always been understanding and let it go, but when I visited at 10:30 AM on November 30th, I noticed all cars were only receiving the basic wash regardless of the selected option, which was very frustrating. When I complained to an employee, they offered me a free car wash, but honestly, I have no interest in getting a free wash. That kind of shallow response only made me angrier. Before entering the car wash, there's a screen on the left where you can confirm your selected wash option. Always check to ensure you're getting what you paid for. Never let the devil steal your joy. Today, I went to clean up the Tundra. I came out the wash and parked the Tundra in a stall. I began to dry "him" off. Yes, my Tundra is a him. I noticed that i had a flat tire. I could have gotten upset, but what good would that have done. One of the workers was walking around picking up the trash, I walked up to him and noticed that his name was Chris B. I told him that I had caught a flat. He immediately said that he had a floor jack and offered to help me with the flat. Well, I'm not too proud to accept help. Chris not only grabbed the jack, he got down on the ground in his uniform and began to crank down the spare tire from underneath the Tundra. He is a young man who definitely went over and beyond the call of duty. Thank you, Chris!!! Even though my flat tire could have turned a good day into a bad day. The speed of the car wash was probably too quick as there was still soap left on top of my SUV. it wasn't too much but it was visible on both side of the bike rack. I gave Rapids a try after a bug-filled weekend drive to Vegas and a vengeful bird pooping all over my side windows. Located off Yorba Linda blvd, it's a fast (ie too fast) and convenient way to get big dirt debris off your car or SUV. Took my SUV here and got the $20 drive through wash/wax and to be honest it's worth about 1/2 that price. The water barely washed the back of my SUV (there was literal dust and dirt remaining there); understandable given you have around 40 seconds total on the conveyor and it doesn't appear to intelligently wash the back of your vehicle. Depending on the height of your car I would not recommend a higher clearance or large SUV go here. I did however appreciate the free vacuum and air hose option. There are better options elsewhere and for a few dollars more, you don't have to be the one drying or finishing your car wash process in the sun. read more

I was excited to drive by this location while out and about today as I have the monthly membership plan. I was even happier when it recognized my car and let go in. I usually go through the side with the payment kiosk lane on the right rather than talk to someone, but that line was longer so I decided to go through the "have to talk to someone"lane on the left. The attendant was very nice but still had to run through the whole spiel of how to use the car wash. When I said I was a member, it would be given I know how it works. One added bit though was asking me to limit my vacuum time to 5 minutes. While I get people are waiting, that seemed a little pushy to me. Once inside, I noticed a different setup than the location I normally go to. Nothing bothered me until the drying section. They have large rolling towel brushes after the blow-dry. It's a nice idea, but the main one in the center never touched the hood of my trunk. The side ones didn't catch my side mirrors, so I felt my car didn't get a dry as the location with several hot air dryers. Leaving the lot proved challenging as there was gridlock between the cars trying to exit the car wash and drive onto the street versus cars that were leaving the vacuum area. I still think the monthly payment plan is a good deal, but I won't go out of my way to visit this location unless I just happen to be in the area. read more

This is a great place to get your car wash at $10.00. I got my brand new Audi washed and when I was using the vacuum to clean the inside, I saw a wheel had some marks on it like the chrome was washed off. I saw Richard, one of the employee walking around checking out the stalls and asked him to check the damage. He was very helpful & courteous and assured me that the chrome was not damaged and brought out some cleaner and rags and started cleaning out the wheel. In the meantime, his colleagues also came over to help and Henry brought some wax and cleaned it up thouroughly. I passed by this on the way to work and decided to stop by to try it out. Everything seemed nice and legit. The pricing was competitive and same as the other places. I decided to get the $10 good wash since I had a lot of bee poop spots. The conveyor belt method was awesome and was quite impressive. No rim dings at this place. The foam and slapping squids were the same. The tunnel seemed long but it went by quickly. All the dryers seemed great and the blowers seemed strong. I drove out happy but when I started to dry, I noticed there were many black smear spots like freeze and on both sides of my mirror there were rub marks. This is the first time for the mirror rub marks but there are some car washes that have hydraulic fluid leaks that cause the black grease spots. Fortunately, I have a car wrap so no harm done. Unfortunately, I had to wrap my mirrors again. Conclusion, can't commit to a membership for this place other. My car will definitely get beat up in the wash process. Very sad but this place didn't work out for me. read more

Was rear-ended inside the car wash. They leave very little gap when pushing cars through the tunnel. Manager said "per policy we can send cars through bumper to bumper" "we cannot leave a gap between cars because it's busy, there's a line, and people don't want to wait". No accommodation or effort to make it right by management. No followup despite insistence to send an incident report to corporate & followup with owner. They take a complete "not our fault" stance with no customer service to even try to take care of their members. If there's an incident, they will deny liability and tell you to work it out through your car insurance if an incident happens. read more

I really appreciated all of them but the most of all was Rosalyn & Jocelyn! and Ruben to top it off! I really appreciated you guys, thank you, and for their hardship work and beyond duties to get my service done, Thank you very much! First of all I was already pleased with how rough the brushing was getting done and how clean my car came out to be in the end. I wish I only had more time to wipe and vacuum but I was in a short schedule. And the worse happened on my short schedule. I was trapped when I was in the process of vacuuming when I realised I had locked in my sweater in a closing door with keys & phone! Immediately I began walking home for the second key, but they offered superior service to get my car unlocked! and they succeeded! I was so grateful and thankful, wish I had more to offer them! I have been able to wash my car here and went by twice before. My only reason for this reviews to blame people that there is no Apple Pay as of October 2023. The Aug 2023 last time I washed my car here, a man that I presumed was the owner said that he is working on establishing apple pay. Otherwise, this place is a pretty good deal. This car wash is close to my house, and I decided to give it a try. From the outside, it looks like a cool and retro car wash. It's flashy and new. I have also been getting ads on my Instagram page of teen workers here talking about their services, so it looked appealing. They have four options of services, Best Value ($16), Better ($13), Good ($10), Basic ($6). I chose the best value service, and I was excited to get my custom rims cleaned. I have monthly pass for 4 vehicles. My family washes our vehicles regularly and it's a drive through car wash which means if you don't want spots you need to dry it yourself if you want the inside clean, guess what you need to vacuum. Sometimes there's a line and sometimes there is a new customer that that takes longer to navigate the payment portal and if you happen to be behind them there could be other folks that arrive after you that enter first ... nothing is perfect anywhere. Fur the price it fair. If you're looking to avoid all that including maybe having to drive slow around the enter and exit area maybe a private mobile car wash is a better option at $60-$85 a wash ... with so many vehicles to keep clean fir me this place is solid ... I have a sequoia with larger tires and fits just fine ... you have to drive s l o w and be patient... the people that work there are polite and keep the place clean and they hire young adults that try their best read more
