Finally made it to Nuttea after having it bookmarked for a long time! They open at 9 AM on weekdays, and I visited around 11:30 AM. I was the only customer at the time, making for a quick and efficient experience. I already knew what I wanted and ordered the Matcha with Nut Cream. They let you customize the ice and sugar levels. I went with normal ice and less sugar, which turned out to be the perfect balance. One unique touch is the cute little instructions they provide on how to enjoy the drink. Following their recommendation, I used the small wooden shovel to taste the nut cream first. It was thick, nutty, and had a slight saltiness, which I really enjoyed. At first, I expected the drink to be heavy, but the matcha itself was quite light and watery. Mixing the two together created a perfect balance and enhanced the overall flavor. While the matcha isn't the highest quality or the strongest I've had which is evidenced by the color, it still had a pleasant flavor. I also loved the crushed nuts on top and wouldn't mind if they added even more! My visit was short (about 5 minutes), and I appreciated the clean, minimalist decor and friendly service. Paid street parking is available. Can't wait to return and try more from their menu! I love the unique, plant-based concept of this place. I also noticed they have an online ordering system, which was helpful for checking the menu in advance. Would definitely recommend giving Nuttea a try! Update: I couldn't resist returning to Nuttea to try their Biscoff Coffee with Nut Cream and it did not disappoint. While the matcha was good, this one absolutely blew me away. The biggest issue I usually have with Biscoff coffees is that they lack enough cookie butter flavor, but this version was bold without being overly sweet. The nut cream complemented the caramel notes perfectly, enhancing the richness of the drink while adding a creamy, velvety texture. Compared to the Matcha with Nut Cream, this one was heavier and felt more like a dessert but it was well worth it. Side note, when you leave a Google Review, they offer 15% off. It's a cozy cafe that serves creamy teas and coffees. I tried their new Biscoff coffee and it was amazing. Quite creamy. You're gonna need a spoon to finish it. (Yes, mini spoon included!). I felt the apple green tea complemented the nut cream more than the more robust flavour of matcha, but both were delicious. Comes with a small paddle to eat the cream before stirring it all in. I've been meaning to try this spot and finally had a chance to with one of my friends. I had the matcha drink with nut cream and my friend had the earl grey with nut cream. The nut cream paired well with both drinks. The earl grey one reminded us of Ferrero Rocher when paired with the nut cream. We did find our drinks a bit too sweet halfway, but we'll probably have to play with the sugar levels to find the right balance next time. There is limited indoor seating, but service is friendly. Earl Grey tea tastes great! It tasted very similar to the authentic English teas I had at high tea. The chocolate foam was very thick and not my favorite - tasted similar to chocolate wafers. Everytime I finish having a beverage here. I crave another flavour and therefore decide on returning, sooner than later. I usually have the matcha green tea with nut cream. It is always delicious. I had a different tea once before however it must've not been as memorable, as I am unable to recall it. Move aside Starbucks and Bubble tea, there's a new drink in town. These drinks I would say are a cross between getting a bubble tea and a Starbucks latte. For people who are lactose intolerant, this spot is amazing. All their creations are made from nut based milk so you don't have to worry. The thick cream made of nuts is so yummy, you can scoop this up and finish the foam before the drink! But of course, it's better when you sip your drink and taste some of the cream bits too. Latest plant-based nut mylk bubble tea shop in town! It's 100% lactose free, which is good for someone with like me. I'm so grateful that they come to Toronto. I've tried their drinks in Hong Kong and I'm in love with the original hazelnut creamy top. I ordered oolong tea with nut cream, no sugar and less ice. It feels much healthier than regular bubble tea. It's my kind of bubble tea! I particularly love the nut mylk creamy top, which gives an crazy intense hazelnut taste, tho it's tad bit salty when I only ate the cream.
