At Midway Airport in Chicago, I stopped at a Nuts on Clark vending machine. It wasn't functioning properly, it accepted my credit card, but did not dispense the popcorn. I was disappointed, but was in a hurry, I took a picture of the label on the machine so I could call after I returned home if it showed up on my credit card. It did, I called, no answer, and didn't leave a message which was an option. It was only $6 as I was going to get 2 different flavors, so I decided it was not a big deal to bother with. To my surprise, several hours later, I got a call from a Chicago area code, so I answered. It was Nuts on Clark! She called me back from the caller id info! I explained the situation and she offered me a refund or she would send me the popcorn! I told her than was not necessary but she insisted! I said I would love to try your popcorn! She said no problem and asked what the flavors were I was going to purchase! I told her. Less than a week later I received 2 medium size bags of the flavors I chose! I cannot say enough about the customer service I received from them!! Above and beyond for sure!! And the popcorn was DELICIOUS!! Their caramel is to die for!! read more

I wasn't "nuts" about nuts on clark... While at Midway Airport, I stopped to grab popcorn!!! yummm.....yummmm...yummm I expected fresh seeing as how the popcorn was made on site, but I did wonder why popcorn aroma wasn't floating in the air... The popcorn was similiar to the tins / cans sold at walmart. Not freshly made tasting at all... I opted for regular and caramel. read more

I come here for things covered in chocolate -- walnuts, malt balls! -- and they're delicious. Their milk chocolate has a lovely fruity note, and while walnuts are only my fourth-favorite nut, they really shine when thickly covered in it. But goodness, everything here is pricey. Also, the in-store selection is a bit of a head-scratcher: empty shelves and lots of prices.... not exactly forthcomingly displayed. read more

I always stop and get my Cheese Corn at Chicago train station! always have been better than the other brand...I ordered 2 2lb tins lot of money, one for myself one for my sister, the popcorn wasn't cheesy and had very hard prices and lot of hales in the 2lb tins so disappointed usually good popcorn! Hopefully they go back to having good quality again. read more

I've enjoyed NOC for years but because I don't live near the Chicago metro area I have to pay for shipping. It kind of a bummer. althought the popcorn is delicious the tin always gets beat up during shipping. I'd like to see them use a better delivery service that is less expensive and more reliable. Who that might actually be i don't know but if Corp NOC could reasonably switch id think they'd get more online orders, maybe they don't want more online orders... idk ? Also offer a lower price for no tin refills like the boxes or larger bags. All that aside the popcorn is the best and its the only reason we "customers" put up with all the aggravation to get our NOC fix. I always stop in when I'm there and beg friends and family to get me some when they visit too read more

I never expected to be writing a review about popcorn, but here I am, telling you I'm nuts for their tasty corn at Nuts on Clark. My wife is from Chicago, so every time we come to her old neighborhood, we have to stop to bring some back to Ohio. You'll never hear me complain. The caramel corn is generously covered in buttery caramel, not like mass produced corn, and it's the best I've ever had anywhere. Love the cheese corn--the most flavorful! The combination of both is ridiculously delicious! My only negative about their treats is they're expensive. I'm sure part of it is the expense of operating a business on prime real estate, but it's also gourmet quality popcorn. It's a no-frills shop that doesn't feel gourmet or special, but if you want the best popcorn ever, this is surely the place! read more

I am writing this review from Southern California. My BFF, Linda, picked up a bag of popcorn at O'Hare when she was headed here. The lightweight wax bag didn't keep it fresh, but we knew it was top notch. Well, we just got a bag of it that came in the dreaded plastic and LET ME TELL YOU: BEST POPCORN I'VE EVER HAD. I hope they enter into a CostCo deal like Dot's pretzels has ---- they really do have a delicious product and it would be my every day go-to. Highly recommend! read more

Not only is the product amazing , but the customer service goes well above and beyond . I was very pleased with my gift that I received .

We bought the 3 mix in the airport traveling thru, and the popcorn was so fresh and tasted awesome. I liked it so much I ordered some when we got home from our travels. Not the same, the standard popcorn was stale and no butter or salt on it, the kettle corn was better because it had a coating on it.. not the same as the Airport for sure, don't waste the money, do microwave. Also the tin came dented in, so it did crush the popcorn. read more

Disappointing customer experience. I called 30 minutes before their 4pm closing as listed on the website. The customer service agent that picked up confirmed they're open for 30 more min. I confirmed I'd be there in less than 15 min. Upon arrival, doors locked at 345 and a sign that says they close at 300. How do you expect neighborhood support with this type of inconsistent messaging around hours? read more

They make the most habit-forming caramel corn I've ever had. They've found a way to saturate every single piece, which means you don't have to search. It's like Cracker Jacks but better. I've only had it at the airport and a grocery store. They were both outrageously good. Don't eat it around people, because it's embarrassing. They should supply a feed bag so you could hide your face. read more

I'm a huge fan of their popcorn and I'm not even a popcorn fan. I feel it's the best tasting option out there and although I love the caramel and mixed is equally appreciated. Any time we gift someone these they are taken back on fresh and good the product is. read more

I really enjoyed a bag of nutty popcorn at the Nuts on Clark-Midway Airport. So much so, that it was NoC for everybody during Christmas '21. Ordering was easy online, and the 12 tins I ordered were delivered as promised before Xmas. It was refreshing to have 100% success in an age of supply chain/Covid/mass resignation- yada yada yada. I received wonderful/positive comments from those on my list. Which brought me Christmas cheer. Thanks for a tasty, reliable product NoC!!! read more

I wouldn't say I'm "nuts" about nuts on Clark, but all in all it's pretty decent. The store itself is pretty small, sparely decorated but filled with various popcorn a, chocolates and of course, nuts. You'll immediately be offered a sample which I love. I tried to eat so much that I didn't need to buy any but that didn't work. The popcorn is good. A four ounce bag will run your about $3. If you get prepackaged popcorn that are scattered throughout the store, be prepared to call your financial institute because it can be upwards of $10 for certain containers. Yes- of popcorn. Get a small bag of better yet, get a sample. I wouldn't count it out completely, I just felt like their are tons do great popcorn options that don't make me need to take a loan out on my 401K. If you're getting something it's gotta be the cheddar. read more

Best popcorn in Chicago! Period! End of story! Every time I am in Chicago, I make sure that I stock up at Nuts On Clark for the fam back home! Their Chicago Style popcorn is mouth watering. Make sure you go heavier on the cheddar than the caramel. read more

Place is a bit too overpriced for what it is and I really can't justify another visit for typical popcorn flavors that can be purchased at just any grocery store. Got 3 containers of their 3 flavors, caramel, kettle and cheese and all were good. Looking at the ingredients list, its all heavily processed ingredients. Its not even organic corn. It's the same you'd find in any grocery bag of popcorn. So how does this place justify the price gouging? Rent, and or taxes, with a little bit of overhead I guess. Gotta pay the dozen people who work there I get but what are they doing to bring customers back! They also fall short on their marketing efforts. You get an overwhelming feeling when you walk in like nothing is organized with no pull ins telling you in Nuts here, pop corn there, special pop corn right this way. It was a bit much with their 3 packs scattered all over the place hiding areas like you have to rummage like you're in a thrift store. Prices and signs were also confusing. Not enough of them, some with no prices on them. read more

Pretty delicious popcorn! Perhaps some of the best we've had! The fam definitely favored the cheese over the caramel, which came mixed together in a Cubby's World Series keepsake tin. I thought the caramel was really great however. It wasn't as sticky or hard and clumped together like some I've had elsewhere over the years. It was light and flavorful. And definitely addicting! I say drop by for a taste! I hear the airport and stadium locations aren't as fresh as this location however. You can ship tubs and tins nationwide! Makes a great souvenir or party gift. read more

If you are going to try Chicago corn while you're in the Windy City, Nuts on Clark is it. The hours aren't the greatest but it is worth the visit. The Chicago mix is something to write home about and even though I didn't think I was a caramel corn type of girl, NOC proved me otherwise with their Pecan Caramelcorn Nut Glaze. Stop in and forgot about Garrett's. read more

My Mom received the canister of Cheese popcorn for her 81st Birthday. When we moved to Las Vegas we knew there were going to be things we missed.....Popcorn is one of those things. Needless to say she was very excited. But, that was short lived. The popcorn was STALE! Not some of it, ALL OF IT! The cheese didn't have The orange cheesy goodness that my childhood memories are made of. She didn't even have the tell tale Orange Fingers. She did find their website and sent them a message. They called her back at 6:30 IN THE MORNING! I guess area codes are completely useless. I just left a message so she can call me at 6:30 am and not a Senior Citizen. read more

I really just don't get the hype of Nuts on Clark. I live in the area and my mom insisted that we go on her most recent visit. First off- the store smelled horrible. Mildew? Mothballs? Old stale cheddar corn? It wasn't appealing or what I'd expect a popcorn and nut store to smell like. Then the hours- 9-4 M-S and no Sunday hours? Not really customer friendly I tried the sample of the mix. It was okay, but nothing to right home about. The prices also seemed extremely high. 10.99 for a 1 pound tub of questionable age? I personally think Mariano's specialty popcorn is better and less expensive. If you must go- here's a tip the sales woman pointed out to my mom (and doing the math its true). buy the fresh bagged popcorn. Better value and fresher. read more

Obscenely overpriced. Confusing menu. $11.57 for a box of popcorn. I know airport prices are high but that's simply absurd.

Its like going back in time, I mean black and white time, and entering a candy shop from the 50's, but entering in through the stock room. Do you follow? Its like enjoying the nostolgia of fruit gummies, caramel popcorn, chocolate covered nuts and pretzals, roasted nuts and licorice that you get to pick out of big clear plastic tubs....in a black and white storage-like looking room. ...to be exact. Not at all what I expected having lived down the street and passing it weekly for 2 years straight. I guess I just never looked hard enough through the windows to actually see what was inside. Its old school, man....but good stuff. All of the candies and dried fruits seemed pretty fresh and everything is handpacked and catch weight. From what I understand, they do a considerable business and I see why; they are a simple operation. Give the people the quality goods, let them pick it out themselves and you have happy customers. read more

When Saveur magazine names your product as 1 of 100 to have, well, it must be good right? Yeah, the popcorn is really, really good. The popcorn combo is the best! Caramel, Cheese and Kettle all mixed together! It's like a rave in Miami in your mouth! Honestly the flavor combinations seem like they shouldn't work, but they do! They also have a wide variety of chocolate covered nuts and pretzels, in both white and milk chocolate. While most of the business is mail-order Nuts on Clark maintain a very clean and tidy operation. Clean is always good, no? read more

Back in the day this place was very reasonably priced. Now their prices are sky-high for what is actually in the container, which is now a much lower quality product. You are now paying more for packaging than quality IMO. Many other companies/corporations are doing this today. Just trying to fool the consumer again by flashy/cool packaging. This is basically free advertising for them making the quality suffer for the consumer. Word of mouth can absolutely destroy a business with this kind of low quality in the long run. Consumers are not idiots. Sooner or later they will catch on and take business elsewhere. Case closed! read more

Oh man, Nuts on Clark is freakin' awesome! I love them. Their popcorn is about as unhealthy as it comes but the taste is amazing. Kettle corn and cheese are my favorite. Worth a stop. I heard they also have locations now at O'Hare and Midway. No excuse now not to try it. read more

I am shaking at my desk writing this review, someone just dropped off a huge gallon tub of caramel corn to our office and restraint from sweets during the holiday season is pretty much non-existent. I digress as visiting their store is an experience in and of itself... As you enter through the door, you may think you have stumbled across the wrong place, perhaps your in a warehouse, because they certainly don't believe in merchandising. Walk a few steps in and you will hear "Would you to try a piece of our fresh caramel corn". Say no. If you do not say no, you will be hooked for life. This is the very place I lost my innocence to their infamous caramel corn. I have never been a big fan of flavored popcorns, or popcorn covered in caramel, cheese or what have you. But here, its different. I LOVE their caramel covered popcorn. It is real caramel on real popcorn, as opposed to a fake chemical tasting caramel covering stale popcorn... They also have a wide variety of nuts, chocolates and snack mixes for your pleasure. But stick with the caramel corn, its the bees knees. read more

Big ol' nuts! I mean, I picked up a tray of assorted nuts and I was stunned at the size of those babies. I didn't know they came so big! They were all very good tho. I ended up buying a tray for my family back home. I have yet to try their popcorn but there sure was a long line for them when I went. I regret not trying it after reading some of these reviews.
