I ordered a chocolate chunk+ cookies & cream, and the lovely girl working the front (maybe the owner?) threw in a freebie sugar cookie! I've been eating these cookies for three days now because of how huge they are and the softness and flavor has held up perfectly despite me not storing them any special way! The chocolate chunk was my favorite! Adding a proper amount of salt to baked goods is often not utilized enough, but you could actually taste the salt in these cookies and it cut through the richness to add more depth! The sugar cookie was my second favorite, I feel like having a good simple cookie tells a lot about how solid the base dough is. If you love fresh soft cookies, I would keep walking past Insomniac 5 minutes away and come here instead! read more

Every time we order it's a hit or miss. Don't trust the hours posted because they don't follow them. I've ordered on uber and every time the uber drivers cancel the order because they refuse to open the door and give them the order even though they are open. I stumbled upon Cloud Cookie a few years ago after a Cubs game, and I've been going ever since. Honestly, they're even better now than they were then. The cookies are always super fresh (I'm obsessed with the Chocolate Chunk, CloudyNoir, and Basic Bish), the storefront is really cute, and the owner is always so sweet and welcoming. I ordered some delivered last night, and not only were they still perfectly fresh, but the shop even threw in a few extras I hadn't tried before. Ordered online in early February 2026 and received email back saying order was recorded and being processed. Order was supposed to be sent to daughter for her birthday. I emailed a week later asking for any tracking info. I received an email response the next day saying they would be baked the next day and sent out priority 1-2 days. I responded back thanking them for response and would appreciate any tracking info to let recipient know. Kind of questioned why it takes 1.5 weeks to send out a dozen cookies though if it's a legitimate business. 2 weeks later now, 'owner' responds back trying to empathize about the frustration. Says tracking will be sent in a separate email. Nothing received since then. I'm out $80 now, and 'owner' is too worried about her Tik Tok not working. Everything is so on brand with the name, from the decor to the packaging and especially the cloud napkins! Just the cutest thing I've ever seen. They have a rotating selection day by day. Menu is simple and laid out clearly on the wall. We opted for the Cloud cookie and Cinnamon swirl cookie. I loved the almond flavor that shined through on the cloud cookie and is topped with powdered sugar, but not too sweet at all. The cinnamon swirl with a frosting on top definitely gave you that sweeter note, but the cinnamon was also very present. Both cookies had such a soft, airy texture, hence the name I'm sure. I realllllly wanted to love this place but it was just not it. I liked Crumbl for a little bit but then I got over it so I've been trying to find a new cookie spot. Really cute place tho. Love the aesthetic and the decor even for a very small space. Also more expensive than Crumbl for 4 cookies which I was not happy about. The cookies were just simply ehh... I chose their seasonal caramel apple cider cookie, the signature cloud, cookies n cream, and the white chocolate macadamia. First, I could tell the cookies were not fresh because they were room temperature and kind of hard. They tasted a little better after I put them in the oven. If I had to pick a fav cookie, it would hands down be the signature cloud. Thick and soft consistency - like a cloud. I believe that cookie is made with almond flour based off the taste so maybe thats why I liked it so much. My least favorite was the apple cider cookie - absolutely no. It was hard and the hard caramel made it so hard to eat. The other cookies tasted pretty average to me. read more

I am potentially the biggest spokesperson for cloud cookie when I speak to people. The store front is so cute, I went there for the first time in 2022 and it's been the ONLY place I go to for cookies and pop tarts (despite the recent surge of cookie places near me). I will go out of my way to tell people about cloud cookie and I'm not even exaggerating. When people recommend other places, sure I try them, but ultimately I have never been more satisfied with a cookie than the ones I eat from cloud cookie. AND every time I go inside the staff is always in such a good mood and seem genuinely happy to be giving me cookies. I drive by Cloud Cookie all the time, and I have always thought that it looked like a really cute place with the neon cloud symbols floating in the window. When Cloud first opened, there was a dispensary next door, so I have to admit that I thought that the cookie shop opened next door to take advantage of the dispensary customers who had the munchies. As much as I love cookies, I have cut back on eating desserts, so I never ventured into Cloud Cookie for myself. My friends have a teenager, and I wanted to buy him a gift, so I decided to buy a box of Cloud Cookies. I walked into the store and there was no one at the counter. I waited a few minutes and no one came out from the back of the shop. I finally had to poke my head to look in the back and I saw a girl sitting down and looking at her cell phone. I asked if I could get some help. She came to the front, and was pleasant, but she told me that customers are supposed to place their order on a screen that they had set up on the counter. Okay, I am older, but I am computer savvy, and have no problem with anything technical...and actually, I am that odd bird who prefers self-checkout in stores. Maybe I missed it, but nowhere did I see a sign or any indication about how to place an order. I was in their store (the only one there), and the person working there was in the back doing nothing...it would have been nice to be acknowledged without the computer interface. In my opinion, Cloud is too small of a shop to burden customers with a computer screen upon entering...and one without clear instructions (hence one star off). All that said, the cookies looked big and wonderful. They were put them in a beautiful box that was perfect for gift giving. Some people have commented that they cookies are expensive, but for the size and how they are presented, I think that they are priced right. My friend loved the cookies and sent me a BIG thank you, so I was happy choosing Cloud Cookies. read more

I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES. I went to this place about 5 years ago. I was so excited to go but was left disappointed. When I got to the store I asked the lady at the front which cookies do not have nuts in them. She had told me that there were no nuts in the gluten free cookies. So that was the one I had chosen to get. I got the cookie and left. When I started eating it in the car I instantly could feel that I was having an allergic reaction. It was very bad and I started vomiting luckily there was a drugstore near by and I could get some medicine. The staff is not trained at all and should have given me the right information when I asked them for it. I did try to reach out to the owner and she didn't answer my messages. She left me on read. Delicious women-owned cookie shop in the heart of Wrigleyville! I used to live right down the street from Cloud Cookie, and it was such a treat to have a place to grab freshly made cookies within walking distance of my home. Cloud Cookie is a small, grab-and-go only shop, which is a-okay with me. The interior is so dang adorable, with a neon light cloud wall perfect for photo-ops! I've tried quite a few of the cookies, since we usually just grab a variety box to snack on over a few days. The signature cloud cookie is a powered sugar cookie with a prominent almond flavor that I really enjoy! The cookies are dense, but still manage to be soft and pillowy (like a cloud!). Other flavors I enjoy are mom know best (oatmeal cookie with walnut and chocolate chips), the cloudynoir (double chocolate cookie with chocolate chips), and the cloudoodle (snickerdoodle). They also have one vegan cookie on the menu, hopefully they can add a few more to the docket for our vegan friends! read more

It all starts with an adventure. My wife for Christmas made an adventure board throughout Chicagoland. First scratch off of the board was to Cloud Cookie. Finding it was pretty easy! The store has brightly lit clouds seen through the windows and bring on that Instagram moment! About the cookies... I was raised in a bakery. We sold cookies, bread, and pastries and let me tell you, these are so much better than my own family bakery. Every. single. Cookie. This last visit, we met the owner, who was incredibly nice. We also spoke with one of the bakers who was so sweet! The service was excellent. Ordered some cookies for Galentine's Day last month and loved them! Ambiance: Those cloud neon lights are so cute. I wish I could have some in my room. Those lights plus the cookies will put you right on Cloud 9! Service: The cashier was friendly and they had my box ready for pick up. I had originally ordered the special Valentine's box of 6 cookies because it was showing as an option online, but someone from the shop texted me ahead of time and told me they're actually not doing those anymore. Saw this place blow up on social media and had to go check it out. It's small but very adorably decorated and incredibly bright (which feels out of place in old Chicago!) The cookie / pastry selection was small but had a ton of variety. I tried their spinach and feta pop tart and cinnamon roll cookie and BOY were these good. The flakiness of the pop tart was just perfect and the layer on top was totally unexpected. The cookie was soft on the inside and a little crunchy on the rims--just like my favorite sort of cinnamon roll. All the tik tok hype about this spot finally convinced me to come but I have to say I'm quite disappointed. Not sure why but I was expecting this place to be much bigger than it actually was. It's literally the size of a closet. Since there was a family inside ordering, my friends and I had to wait outside until the order was complete. Kinda annoying since there was an active snow storm at the time. Anyways once we got in, it felt very cramped. The only thing really unique about this place was the wall with cloud neon signs. For cookies, we decided to try the cloud cookie, cinnamon roll, mom knows best, and the cloudynoir. Out of all the cookies the only one I would recommend is the cinnamon roll (which was more like a muffin top than a cookie btw). The "cloud cookie" honestly tasted VERY similar to an "Italian S Cookie". Anise flavor was prominent. The "mom knows best" wasn't bad but it wasn't mind blowing. Cloudynoir would be a good option for a major chocolate lover. What really shocked me was that the cookies weren't warmed up!!! I REALLY think that's what ruined the experience. The chocolate chunks weren't melted and gooey. Honestly the cookies except for the cinnamon roll had somewhat a stale texture. Overall, this place is just okay. On a recent visit to a lunch spot across the street I noticed Cloud Cookie. I don't know if it was their grand opening, but it sure looked like it. They had tons of baby blue balloons attached to the front of the store overhead. We had no idea what it was but we had to check it out. The store was teeny-tiny, but super-cute.
