Quick diagnosis of the problem and fix right away. I cannot comment on pricing since I didn't check quotes from others, but overall happy with the service read more

Our furnace couldn't be stopped so we created a request on Yelp. Nur is the first one to respond and sent Artur to our house right away to take a look. Artur is very professional and gave us all the options we have and the quotes they gave are very reasonable. So we decided to accept their offer. They came to replace our furnace and did a very good job. And they cleaned up the garage after the work and answered all our questions. Very good team and fast to respond. read more

Adlan came on time, was super professional, and got it fixed for a reasonable price. He went through the debugging very systematically: fuse blown -- but why? He checked each component along the path until we got to the culprit. And then he was checking why would that component fail and gave some recommendations. He made sure to clean the work area and was off. Thanks Adlan! read more

I would give 6 stars if I could. I replaced an ancient gas furnace with a heat pump and added upstairs a Mitsubish minisplit. They were competitive in the bids I had recieved. They were extremely helpful in choosing the right sized system, helping do the permitting, the energy rebates, and overall guidance, and were a real pleasure to work with. Artur was excellent and knowledgable, and the install team worked efficiently and tirelessly. I now have an amazing and quiet system. I highly recommend NUR HVAC! read more

My dryer was not starting and I approached them. They charge a diagnostic fee of $75. Upon agreeing to that, we booked an appointment and the contractor showed up 30 mins late (but I didn't care). He opened up the dryer and found that a kids sock was stuck in the fan. Then the contractor said that it will cost $200 to fix it ( with warranty). The 200 includes the diagnostic of $75. He said that was their minimum. After pushing a bit, he said I can pay $150 if I opt out of the warranty. Why the F do we need warranty for removing socks? Basically he was checking if I was idiot enough to take warranty for that. But wait, why the hell should I pay additional $75 ( total 150) for just removing the socks. Then I was told that the diagnostic does not include opening the dryer. Then what do they do as part of the diagnostic? How would they identify a problem with motor without opening the dryer? Ok, atleast I should have been told before opening the dryer that there will be an additional cost. I called the office and was initially told that the diagnostic doesn't include fixing the problem (removing the socks). After talking for a while, they agreed to reduce the total cost to $100. Hence the 3 stars read more

Nur Service responded to my call, timely, and rendered an outstanding refrigerator repair. After troubleshooting, Mr Nur and Igor returned With the necessary parts. These two gentlemen worked until the job is done and did not depart until the refrigerator is functioning properly. A leak from the water supply line was noticed While pushing the refrigerator to its proper position. In no hurry, they carefully evaluated the problem. True to their word, they came back to replace the water fitting. I'm a happy and contented customer. I strongly recommend Nur Service! read more

The Nur service technician--Artur was so professional polite, and pleasant. The service was on-time and fast. Artur gave us different options and even cleaned our furnace when he was done! The whole process of very convenient and efficient from getting the quote, to scheduling and to the payment. Absolutely five-stars service! Thank you! read more

I recently had service from Nur Service after my A/C suddenly started pumping hot air. They were extremely responsive and came the same day. Ilius replaced a part and got the A/C working in about an hour. Unfortunately about a week later, today I noticed the upstairs started to do the same so I called and they were able to service almost immediately. Illius filled the coolant fluid for free and said to wait a while to see if it starts to get warm again which would give reason to having a leak. I am extremely impressed with how timely this company is and how fast they get the job done. I will definitely continue to use them! Thank you Nur Service! read more

Communication scheduling the visit was good. I needed debugging my roof top A/C (stopped working). Technician Basim came on time. I told to him that fuses, capacitor on the unit are good but no voltage across the cap (I checked) which points to the A/C power delivery problem. He tested the unit and told me that contactor and fan are bad and their repair is north of $1K. I tried to asked how he arrived to this conclusion but his English was very poor and I was not able to get a clear answer. Anyway, after he has left I rechecked the contactor - it was fine, no problem. I opened power box next to the A/C and found out that there is no 240V, which point to the power delivery issue. I found A/C power panel w/ 2-pole circuit breaker for the A/C and, surely, the breaker was down. I switched it on and A/C started working. The technician is just completely unexperienced. read more

I called Nur HVAC on a cold Saturday afternoon, and they were the only company able to send someone out the same day. Islam arrived a few hours later and quickly determined that the problem was not with the furnace itself but a blown fuse. He fixed it and also changed the orientation of the box so it wouldn't happen again. I then asked if he could look at our house and answer a few questions about possibly installing mini splits, and he immediately offered to take off his shoes. He suggested an alternative solution that was MUCH better than what I had been considering based on my research. I am so grateful to Nur and to Islam for being so responsive and for fixing our problem so efficiently, and also for his other suggestions and for his overall consideration and professionalism. I will definitely want to use Nur HVAC for our future HVAC needs! read more

Called several appliance repair services on Yelp before I found NUR Service who could address the leak from my 42 year old Maytag washer. Yes, my Maytag is that old and reliable! Ilias came out the next day; he was both on time and professional. He took the front panel off and found that the drain hose had a crack in it. He told me he would order the part which would take a few days, but he would also check nearby appliance parts stores. Luckily, he found the new hose, and he surprised me by returning just a couple of hours later. Ilias replaced the hose quickly and cleanly. He ran the washer a couple of times to check for leaks, and my Maytag was back to work. I will definitely call NUR Service in the future for any appliance questions. read more

My Ecobee smart thermostat lost power from the furnace HVAC board and wouldn't turn on, which meant we were left without working A/C. I asked a bunch of HVAC businesses but none were available on short notice. Illias from Nur service responded and came the very next day. David and his crew were heroes when my elderly 86 years old nervous mom's 17 year old heater failed. The Nur team came quickly for an estimate that explained our options fully and within 24 hours completed a full installation of a new high efficiency heating system. Additionally, they had the most favorable quote and warranty. My mom now has reliable heat in her big old house. I am very pleased with the work ethic and honesty of this company! read more

I'm very happy with my new heating-cooling heat pump system, which ties in to my existing ducts, is energy efficient (using electricity rather than natural gas), and keeps my furnace as an alternate option. I called several companies asking for quotes on something else - a whole house fan - and NUR had the fastest and most professional response. Technician David came out and explained several options to me. He said we could try just an attic fan and that alone may cool my home enough. He gave me a quote for that, and also for a whole house fan, and a heat pump. He explained what each option would and would not do. I decided to go with the heat pump heating/cooling along with an attic fan. Even though it was the most expensive choice, I think as time goes on and our climate gets warmer, AC will become even more expensive and hard to get. INSTALLATION: The installers, Artur and Vlad, were polite and considerate as well as competent and hard working. The installation was complicated, including drilling and hammering throughout the crawl space running under the entire house, and completely taking apart and putting back together my furnace. After 2 days I had AC, and after 2 more days I had the attic fan, heating, and was ready for inspection. CUSTOMER SERVICE: After the job was completed and I had paid, I had a few questions, and David responded immediately and said to call anytime questions come up. I have called a few more times and always received an immediate and thorough response. Excellent customer service before, during, and after installation. RESULTS: I'm thrilled with this home improvement, which adds value as well as comfort. Very glad I chose NUR HVAC, and highly recommend them. read more

Highly recommend the team from Nur for your HVAC requirements. We basically needed to replace the furnace and all ducting, remove old insulation from the attic and install new insulation in our 50+ year old townhome. We also wanted to install central cooling. To complicate matters we strongly desired that the new furnace be installed in the garage, vs the second floor where the original was installed. David from Nur was the only representative from the 7 vendors who listened to our requests and addressed all of our questions. His polite manner, detailed explanations and timely responses, and reasonable prices made it an easy decision to select Nur. Once the work began the team of technicians were just a professional. They arrived at 9:00AM each day and worked effectively throughout the day with breaks only for lunch for discussions about the job at hand. Because of the age of the original furnace and ducts as well as botched repairs performed under a previous owner, the work took a day longer than anticipated, but no additional charges were incurred. Further David accommodated my same day request to change from blow to bats insulation in the attic. Our only wish is that Nur would expand beyond HVAC and appliance repairs to other home systems so we can hire them for our other projects. read more
