Wish I had known about Num Num Boba a long time ago. They have the best boba drinks in Reno, and the staff are incredibly polite.

Updated from before. I tried the other milk tea flavors and they're good. The only thing I don't like is the inconsistent boba texture. Most days it's over done where the boba is too soft and sticks together with the other bobas, making it difficult to get up the straw. Other days it's undercooked where the boba is very hard in texture. I feel like they're trying to find the right consistency in boba, so I give them credit for that. I'll be back someday to hopefully give them 5 stars. read more

They are new, and I wish they opened when I lived on that side town. Their drinks are so good. When I went in, they didn't have any food selections but that may have been because of Covid. Employees were friendly and welcoming. read more

Num Num is one of the better boba spots in Reno. If you're looking to get your boba fix, I would recommend this place if you're in the area. They have a large variety of drinks and you can customize it to your liking (like adjust sweetness and ice levels). I'd recommend calling ahead for pick up because it can take awhile to prepare the the drinks if the place is busy. Overall, Num Num is a pretty good boba place in Reno! read more

I love the Thai coffee with boba however I'm knocking two stars for sanitation. I witnessed all three employees run their fingers through their hair, not wash their hands after working the register, and not wear gloves. And they were not enforcing social distancing with customers. read more

Num Num boba have disappointed me yet again. The drinks are good but to have the word "boba" on your name, your boba has to be on point. Second time ordering from them and it's still the same. The bobas are hard, they are clumped up together, and lack flavor. When you bite into it, it's like chewing rubber. They're so clumped up it get stuck in the straw... Num Num Boba, step your game up. i love num num boba, i would highly recommend. one of my favorites is the mango sweet rice. i go here often and love it so much. the workers are super helpful and nice. if you don't know what something is or would like recommendations, they will help you. i have always loved it here it's my go-to place. my mom never liked boba and after trying this, she loves it now (only from here ;) lol) i would also recommend the jasmine milk tea or chai tea or coconut with chocolate blended. it's sooo good and thank you so much to num num boba!!!!! love love love. read more

This place is pretty good for what you get as boba in Reno. You can guarantee you'll get your money's worth here because I didn't ask for extra boba, but my cup was filled half way with boba. At many places they'll short change you with boba, but not here. I ordered strawberry milk tea with strawberry jelly and boba and it was pretty good. Some might say I ordered pepto bismol with boba but it satisfied my craving for boba. Will I be back to spend $4 on mediocre boba? No. The staff is very friendly though so I'd go to support the business but not the boba. read more

I got 4 drinks here and they were all good. My favorite so far is the honeydew with lychee jelly. So good! Customer service was good. They have a cute seating area with swings at the end. I think they could add more seating area inside and make it cuter and more inviting that customers would wanna stay and hang out. They do have more seating outside but no umbrellas so it can be uncomfortable when it gets hot. I also like that they offer different asians snacks. They could also offer more snacks. I've been waiting for this place to open and it has finally opened. I ordered a regular milk tea with boba. I always do this at a milk tea place to test their baseline. It was good and I had no complaints. My complaint is with the staff, particularly the owner. There was no one inside when I got there and the owner and one other staff ignored me for a minute or so. No greeting or smiles. Not even eye contact to acknowledge my presence. I figure a new business should make you feel welcome especially if the owner is present. I really hope this is not their norm. A simple hello would have been fine. This does not make me want to go back. There are plenty of Boba places in Reno now. read more

I stopped by to try boba for the first time and the woman at the register was a big help in guiding me toward the right drink for my tastes. I settled on the Mango Sticky Rice Specialty Drink at 50% sweetness (I mentioned that I don't like my drinks too sweet and this was her recommendation) and she added some mango jelly on top too - I loved it! It was super refreshing for such a hot day and not too sweet at all. I'm excited to have a new and unique drink stop in my neighborhood and I really appreciated how wonderful the customer service was too! read more

So happy to see a Boba place in Northwest Reno. Everyone greeted us as we walked in. The place was very clean and welcoming. The staff was very courteous and patient (I ask a few ?'s) They have a wide range of drink options and a ton of topping options. We ordered the Coconut milk tea with coconut jelly. It was delicious. We were surprised to see that they also sell pork buns (my son's favorite). Couldn't resist and bought a few. Cost was average for Reno area. Ample parking. i have no idea what people are raging about. this place is not good, the drinks you can tell are just made with water and powder and the boba is gross and taste like plastic. service was fine, the lay out was kinda confusing. the decorations were cute. but the drink was garbage... i'll stick to Boba T, they use real ingredients and the boba is sweet and squishy. read more

I was visiting Reno and was in the mood for some boba. I had been suggested this place from family and wanted to try it. I ordered their House drink. I realized I should've shaken it, but I had already opened it so I wasn't able to get the full experience. Since I didn't shake it, the Thai tea flavor and the jasmine tea flavor came separately. Their bobas were slightly hard and weren't as chewy as I would have preferred them to be. The place was clean and felt safe. They had social distance lines and everyone was masked. I loved the stand in the middle full of Asian snacks. Overall, it was a good experience, I just wish they had softer boba and less sweet drinks. read more

This place is average. Mainly I like it because it's close to my house and they have punch cards (buy 9 teas, get 10th free). They have lots of different boba topping options which I also like. Their boba milk teas taste more like a sugary drink rather than a tea drink-- I've tried a few different flavors in hopes that one of them actually taste like tea- they don't. It still tastes good though. The pork buns are super yummy. But they come with a paper wrapper on the bottom. And the wrapper gets stuck to the pork bun and it doesn't peel off well- I've had a few different ones and they've all had this problem. So essentially you're eating paper with your pork bun. This place is good and has potential, just needs to work on perfecting it. read more

MUST TRY! BEST BOBA IN RENO!!! It's been hard to find a place in Reno that sells good boba drinks when you've tried the best ones in San Francisco, but Num Num Boba is our new go to spot. Probably the best we have ever had (we've been twice in the last week)! So far the coconut milk tea is my favorite but the Taro and Thai tea are also delicious. No complaints on the flavored jelly, boba, or pudding. So many flavors to choose from! I can't wait for their dine in seating to open up because it looks so cute! All I can say is wow!!! I just went here and walked in thinking it was open but it wasn't . The owner was one of the sweetest people ever and still served me! On to the tea, it was amazing.
