This is a follow up review to Nu Vision. After a couple of weeks which Oscar said my sunglasses will be ready, I received a call from them letting me know that my glasses are ready for pick up. When I got to the store, Oscar was there to help me. He had me try the glasses and we tested it for every feature I added to my sunglasses. The polarized application was nice and it really takes the glare out. They were also able to match the color of my original lens which was nice. The clarity and craftsmanship are superb! This place is an awesome establishment for glasses and I will be sure to come back here again. I am very satisfied with their work! read more

Recently I experienced a sudden change in my vision, and went to the optometrist at Walmart in Palmdale. After I told him how urgent it was for me to get replacements for my glasses for work as soon as possible, he suggested that I go to Nu Vision Optical, so I did. My new lenses were ready within a couple of days, already installed in the frame from my old glasses. For a small extra fee, I was guaranteed another pair of lenses just in case these didn't work out. Although they DID work out for one aspect of my work, they didn't work out for another aspect, and I realized I'd need a second prescription. After returning to Nu Vision and explaining the situation, I was provided with a second pair of lenses (covered by the small fee I'd already paid), which were then installed in a second frame I provided, and I was allowed to keep both. I highly recommend Nu Vision. Not only was I pleased with the service and work ethic I encountered there, the price was substantially lower than I'd been quoted by either Walmart or Kaiser. 100 stars to Nu Vision Optical they gave my husband a super good deal on lenses and frames and we're done with his order within 20 minutes. So thankful because he needed his glasses for work the next day and he was able to have his same day, paying less than half the price than he would have, had he went to Walmart optometry. So I recently purchased two pair of designer glasses at this location and I was extremely impressed with their friendly staff and professional nature. I was originally there to use my groupon for an eye exam but no exams here, just bring your prescription. Anyways I ended up getting my glasses from Nu Vision Optical and didn't bother with Costco or Sams; and I love Nu Vision, their Dior frames and the Miu Miu frames I purchased are stunning and I get compliments all the time. They don't carry several of the same pair so you feel like you're getting an exclusive pair of glasses that everyone won't have. I haven't seen anyone with my glasses on and it's been a couple months now. I even had to go back to get them adjusted because they were a little tight and it was a simple quick fix. Great deals and great glasses who can say no to that! Gleydy and her team are great and I'll definitely go back for all my future eye care needs. Having met one of the owners at a business mixer I decided to visit the Nu Vision Optical store in Palmdale recently for an alternative to recent purchases at a 'big box' store. I was delighted with the personal unhurried service they provided vs the wait in line for your number I had experienced at other locations. Their selection of frames was nearly overwhelming and I found several that only fit my preference but also what I wanted to spend. This is the only place I will get my frames from now on. After going everywhere trying to find comfortable frames I called Nu Vision and spoke with Oscar. He was so nice and gave me so much useful information. I went to Walmart to get my exam and headed straight to Nu Vision. Once at Nu Vision I met the lovely Glady (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and she was amazing. Both Glady and Oscar and super sweet. I got a call a few days later letting me know that my glasses were ready. They even waited for me after closing since I was coming from work. This place is amazing and I'm so thankful that I found them on Yelp. My family and I are happy to have found Nu Vision Optical in the AV. After Sears Optical shut down, we went shopping around for the next place we could get our glasses. JCPenny had a small selection of frames, WalMart did not have the quality frames we wanted, and Costco was a tad bit out of our budget. When we found Nu Vision, we saw they had a LARGE selection of brand name frames for HIGHLY affordable prices! Gleydy and Oscar provided great customer service and a wonderful shopping experience. This new Optical place is great. They have a variety of frames at a very good price. Cheaper that Walmart and other Optical facilities.
