My nail that ripped off the next day because it wasn't straight when cut and had a sharp hooked edge.

Natalie T.

I saw this place on instagram. I went in for a pedicure but wanted regular polish. As soon as I walked in I saw drinks (mimosas) I was hoping it was complimentary, I was never offered. I had an older Asian man work and n my pedicure. He was nice but kept asking if I wanted gel after saying 3 times I don't want gel. The French tip was an extra $9.00 (is that normal now days)? That night my big toe kept getting caught in the sheets. I looked and noticed it was cut at a weird angle. Big part of my nail was hanging as if it was filed sideways . The next morning my nail got caught in my blanket and ripped off!!!! I will say the massage was nice though.

Ileana V.

The girl I had was nice, as soon as I walked in I was able to get a chair I went pretty early in the morning, they have a abundance of colors to pick from, I'm not a gel girlie I had them do regular nail polish, getting the hot stones is always my favorite!

Nancy A.

Tammy did a French pedicure for me and Tony did a chrome gel manicure. Both were excellent, kind, professional, and my nails came out beautifully. I come here often with my daughter and we're always

Customer service was really good. They attend you really good. The nail service I received was not the greatest it being my first time there. Looks like I didn't even have a pedicure done. Nails are all misshaped.

Second Edit: YOU SOUND RIDICULOUS, YOUR CLEARLY STATING YOU ARE NOT A DOCTOR. Your response ACTING AS IF YOU HAVE THE Credentials to diagnose me is even more shameful. The truth is my medical records reads INFECTION. Whether you like it or not I was seen by a doctor at Sutter Medical who has diagnosed me with an infection. Further more sir, I was also put out on medical leave for over 7 days until the infection goes away. Doesn't sound like an allergic reaction to me. Do better! Edited: NOW THE OWNER WANTS TO RESPOND... all of a sudden lol.. CLASSIC - Unfortunately for you Mr. Owner who now wants to actually respond because he is now receiving a bad review, he has a lot to say. Let me educated you, my medical documents states I contracted AN INFECTION, NOT AN ALLERGIC REACTION to your services. There's a huge difference between an allergic reaction and an Infection sir. I am not allergic to anything and have been to many different nails shops as well, this has never happened before. The problem at hand is YOUR LACK of accountability, sympathy, professionalism and very poor customer service! That's the problem. $85.00 plus a tip doesn't break my bank sir. I am VERY successful business owner myself, I make money in my sleep. It's not the money it's the principle! You as a business owner is Morally wrong! My medical records and test results do not lie sir, I guess we will do this the hard way since me just coming to your shop to address the issue professionally and instead I got the worst customer service. You have zero concerns for any issues or concerns, you deflect by making this okay and put blame on my health as if you know my medical history with zero chances of your shop doing anything wrong. Taking yourself out of the equation completely is really sickening. Disinfect and sanitize your equipment and no one else will contract an infection how about that! Review: I want to share my recent experience at NT Nail Spa because it has been extremely painful and concerning. I called in for an appointment on Thursday September 11, 2025 for a full set with a bit of style, expecting a relaxing visit. Instead, it turned into a nightmare. Later on that night, my fingers started to swell, turn red, and became very painful. Within hours, the pain was unbearable (10 out of 10) and I had to go to the emergency room. The ER doctor confirmed that I had developed an infection from the un-sterilized nail equipment used to do my nails. I was prescribed antibiotics right away, given a shot on my arm to stop the infection from spreading. I went back to the nail shop to show the manager what my fingers looked like and requested a refund for this terrible service and sure enough the manager was super rude and unprofessional. He proceeded to call the owner and also took pictures of my hands and sent it to him. To my surprise the owner was even more rude, unprofessional and showed no sympathy for what had happened to my fingers. The manager had the nerve to say that it was an allergic reaction from my end, and nothing they did wrong. Mind you the infection is on all 10 of my fingers, not just one or two fingers but all 10 fingers consistently. I proceeded to ask to speak to the owner but the manger refused to give access to the owner. I asked for a refund, the manager pointed to a sign that said " no refunds" Since then, I've had 2 trips to the ER, I am now unable to go back to work until this infection is gone! I was put on antibiotics, a shot on the arm and another medication to kill the infection. I was recommended by the doctor to get the nails removed but how can I? Having to soak my infected fingers into acetone to remove my nails will cause a bigger infection. I have been to millions of different nails shops all over the Bayarea, Valley Area, LA ect, this has NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. To say the infection was caused by me being allergic to their nail supplies, as if the owner knew I had a history of allergies is outrageous!! I am not allergic to anything FYI. Shame on you as a business owner and a service provider to have such poor customer service, zero sympathy or concerns for your clients concerns or health after receiving poor service. I went back to the nail shop With the intentions to 1. Address the concerns and show what happened so they can fix the issue and assure it doesn't happen again to anyone else. 2. Definitely deserving of a refund for what I am going through! Instead I was treated like shit and they kept my money. Please see pictures below for your reference and I hope anyone reading this, if you are planning to go to this place 1. I DO NOT RECOMMEND 2. Please make sure that the equipment being used on you are properly maintained sterilized prior to using. And 3. I will NEVER GO BACK. -ZERO STARS FOR ME.

First visit was amazing! Benny did a great job, got me in early, and they offer kids' pedicures starting at just $27!

Monique G.

So I came in for my first time.My appointment was at 1 but I called to come in earlier and they took me right away, which was awesome and my namel tech was Benny, he's such a hoot.I love it and he did a great job.I recommend anybody that has children also to come here because they got the hook up for 27$ dollars for pedicures , starting also, ladies if you like to get a full set done , you get a free mimosa offered if you like to drink and treat yourself while being treated

She kills it in the nail game every time. I have an idea and she knows exactly whats imagined

Thank you to @Roy for always slaying my nail sets. Especially my frenchies Book with him !

Hard to tell in the pic but tons of fuzz and dust from when he filed my nails, so it was kind of clumpy

Rebecca C.

I usually love getting services done here (the CBD pedicure is great!) I went today for a manicure. I waited about half an hour, no biggie, except they took back clients before me who got there after me and did not have appointments. (Though sitting there for so long I did notice a cluster of spiders on the ceiling with missing light fixtures) Tony came to get me. When I sat down I told him I wanted a spa manicure with massage and scrub and wax, but that I cannot have gel polish as I am allergic to the UV light (I'm allergic to the sun hence no UV) he said ok. He proceeds with the usual soak and cuticle trimming. Then he says he'll do the massage after the polish and he proceeds to set up to do gel polish. I remind him, I am allergic to UV so I cannot have gel. So then he slaps some lotion on my arms, barely rubs not even for a minute and wipes off with a towel, never getting any on my hands. Then he sloppily painted my nails (very few color options if I don't get gel apparently) so I just got black, which he applied sloppily. He then wrote out my ticket, told me thank you and proceeded to go on to another client who wanted a pedicure and told me to stay in front of the fan till nails dry (while waiting for my nails to dry, I noticed more missing light fixtures and peeling paint on the ceiling) No massage, no scrub, no paraffin dip. I paid $27 (no tip as it was most definitely not deserved) for something I could have just done at home. I was really looking forward to some pampering as I have been taking care of my parents and working full time. I am very disappointed and hope the salon will redeem themselves if I decide to return

Iv gone to many nt nail employees both Modesto and Manteca. I never had a my favorite until a Louis. I love cute natural full sets but could never find someone who got it right specially a fill. I hated fill because they always come out bulky. But Louis is able to make a fill look like a brand new set! Absolutely love him he's the sweetest and puts so much effort to get you the perfect shape you want. read more

I had my nails done one week ago, and they're already breaking off. I went in to have one nail fixed 3 days later to be asked to pay $7 plus the $2 card fee, they're ridiculous. My favorite nail tech Rose recently moved to this salon and of course I had to follow! She always delivers when it comes to my manis/pedis, takes her time, and makes sure I love the work before I leave her chair. The new salon is clean, spacious and everyone is friendly. Felt comfortable and welcome the moment I walked in. Looking forward to receiving more services from Rose at this new salon! read more

Not a spa for the meek. If you have any problems speaking up for yourself DO NOT COME HERE. I've give this place 3 opportunities, and each time they disappointed me in some way. The techs are LAZY! I have 3 basics I get. Full white gel pedicure, Gel french tip pedicure, and a Regular non gel manicure. Each time, the results were unsatisfying. First time, I got the full white gel toes, and not even a week and a half until the white started turning yellow and aging poorly. As well as the heat of the water in my shower, making the gel move away from my cuticles and moldable. Then I got a regular manicure, and on my fingers I previously had gel French tips. She took off my gel with a grill and now my nails are thin and sensitive. As well as she left the side of my nail with my previous gel. Now I have to take time off on grow them out before doing them again. From just a regular manicure. Now today was the absolute last straw. I didn't want to return to begin with, but I'm new to the area and didn't want to try a new salon because this is my BIRTHDAY WEEKEND. I KNEW AT LEAST ID HAVE A GOOD ENOUGH PEDICURE FOR MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND BUT NO I WAS VERY VERY UNFORTUNATELY MISTAKEN. I'm very upset about it, I know it's really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things but, it would have been an easy fix if the nail tech used basic common sense and asked clarifying questions. I got a French tip gel pedicure, I already had acrylic on my toes. He filed them down and did the works, and presented my toes to me after he did the French tip. Now I am a women who is very meticulous with her appearance so it pissed me off to find out that my previously square French tip toes, where not square any longer. He told my my toe nail broke and I asked him if their was any way to fix it. My French tips where square with a broken corner and he couldn't care at all. Not even a "do you want me to fix this for you" then tell me the price. IN WHAT WORLD WOULD A WOMAN, WHO USUALLY GETS A SQUARE TOE, BE OKAY WITH A BROKEN TOE NAIL? It tells me he doesn't take pride in his work at all. It was "too late" to fix it meaning, I would take up too much time fixing the mistake HE MADE in his ime constricted schedule. I was mad, instantly but I held my cool, through his unapologetic sorrys. I didn't even want to tip him, but I'm not a barbarian, and still tipped him $10. But he stood far back towards the pedicure spa as if he didn't expect a tip himself. Any way long story short, if it's a dire emergency go, they'll get you okay. OTHERWISE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Really suck they couldn't even do a pedicure straight and ITS MY BIRTHDAY IN A FEW DAYS and I'm sad about it . read more

NT nails is very popular in Modesto and they just opened up in Manteca so I thought I would give it a try. Danny did my gel manicure and I loved it!!! From trimming to painting and precision cutting of the cuticles were phenomenal. I will definitely return because of Danny. Now you're wondering why the 3 stars? Well, not very impressed with the pedicure. I paid $58 for the #3 spa and french tip and ended up going home only to trim my own toe nails. I had to ask for the young lady to clean under the toe nails, even though there weren't much to clean, but just the fact that it should've been done would've been nice. I didn't have my glasses on so when I left , everything looked okay. Once I got to my car and put my glasses on, the paint and cut were below mediocre. I asked for a short trim, but didn't get that. She did one coating of white and one coating of clear coat. You could actually see how thin the coating was on the French tip of the toes. I got round and square looking tips. The edges were so sharp, I had to trim them when I got home because I could feel how sharp the edges were. Just a huge disappointment in general. Unfortunately, open toed shoes is not going to be an option right considering that I had to go home to try and fix what should've been done right in the first place. That being said, I will give it another try with a different nail tech and hope that it will be a better experience next time. read more

I never really get my nails done, only for rare events, so these are a pretty big deal for me! I made an appointment and arrived a bit early and they took me right in! Roy was my artist and he did absolutely phenomenal! Great service and I couldn't be happier with my nails. Price was a little expensive, but it is hard to find a good nail artist in the area so it was worth it. I felt comfortable enough with my artist to be able to communicate what I did and didn't like and he listened great! I ended up with a lovely set that im excited to show off! I will be recommending this location! :) read more

I'd like my money back but of course the first thing u see on the door is "NO REFUNDS CASH ONLY" that should've told me they were fraudulent from the start. Do not go here, OR TO ROY, when I first arrived nobody even greeted me I sat in the lobby for 10 minutes everyone walked passed me I had to keep calling on someone to find my nail tech when my apt was at 12:45 and started at 1. not to mention I asked for change back and they tip themself $5 of my change WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME?? HE WAS WATCHING BASKETBALL ON HIS PHONE!!!! with another nail tech while doing my nails!!!!! Literally so unprofessional!!! Roy only has so many reviews cause he literally will beg you to take a photo and leave a review when ur nail set is done... well this is my review stay the hell away from here, esp someone who doesn't take their clients serious with professionalism and watches a basketball game and kept walking away to go high 5 the other man during my nail set. I asked for SKINNY tapered square French NO smile line... I got the exact opposite of what I asked for. These tips are WAY too big for my nail beds, my nails were literally in pain all day the next day SUPER SORE. The shape is terrible, the acrylic is THICK, the nails ARE THICK, the French is uneven, they charged me $75 for this short ass nail set. I got scammed, lmaooo the level of unprofessionalism is crazy. nail shops need to be just shut down already. A lot of them don't even speak English, how do they have a legitimate cosmetology license??? They probably don't! They don't even display their license at the tables! I'm sad, I got these nails done for an international trip and I have big bulky fat over sized thick acrylic nails with uneven French lines and un even nail lengths.Stay away, read more

I will never come here again. When I arrived I got seated quick which was nice. But right when he started to apply the tops. There were not straight. I explained and was not listen to. Then he applied the acrylic and that's when you noticed even more. Then he said it's like that. Which I've never had issue at other shops I've been to. So I asked if he could just remove it and just fix that one nail. He didn't want to. So he decided to file it down and add more acrylic. Which didn't help at all. Made it worse. My nails were chunky and just uneven. I paid almost 60$ plus I still tipped. i also got them done Wednesday June 14th, and there already lifting be a use he put them to much on my cuticles. I asked for French tip and left with not even that. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I'm a newer resident to the area and I have tried about five nails shops around the Manteca/Lathrop area. I'm really used to the Bay Area nail shops, which tend to offer more variety in colors and designs. In my experience they also tend to do a better job of shaping the nails and making sure that the nail bed area isn't lumpy. Well, this shop did I great job. I didn't get any designs but the nails themselves are uniform, well shaped and smooth. The have an average amount of colors but that was fine with me. The colors I chose are pretty and they're your typical nail salon brand. I also got a pedicure, which was actually more than my nail fill. The prices are pretty average but the people who work there are nice. I'll be going back. read more

I can't believe the horrible service that was provided to me by the technicians and the women at the front counter who is apparently the service desk rep. This salon does not shape, or spend the proper time needed on nails to have a beautiful outcome. Technicians rush the service and leave the nails looking ugly and cheap. I recently saw a social media post by another customer about the service she was provided and how upset she was and I completely agree with her as well I believe her name is rose. The man who helped me was so RUDE his name is Jason. He kept insisting I get a gel pedicure and when I said no he kept insisting. He kept saying how it was faster, and I would be wasting time with regular polish on my toes. I kept saying no, and he kept going. I ignored him, the thing that took me over the edge was that I was wearing a long dress and he hands me a towel to put over my legs, which I know places do. He hands it to me and says " I don't want any blood in here" as he pointed to the foot tub. I said excuse but I don't know you like that. Finish my pedicure and don't talk to me. To be honest I was so shocked . First of all I was not on my period and if I was who cares. FK rude. I am never ever going back and anyone I know I will tell them not to go there . read more

Decided to give NT nails a try here in Manteca, I've had a full set of acrylics done and then 2 fills, everything was great. A few days ago (about a week after my last fill) one of the acrylics pops off and my nail underneath was GREEN!! Concerned that my other nails may be infected too, I went back to NT nails right away for help getting the rest of the acrylics off. They took absolutely no accountability, argued that it wasn't an infection and had the audacity to charge me for removing the acrylics! I've been getting my nails done consistently at many different salons over the years and I have never had any sort of infection in my nails. After having the acrylics removed by one of the techs there it is clear to me why this happened: every piece of equipment she used, (the nail trimmers, Dremel heads, nail files and even the cuticle oil) was simply put back into her drawers after being used. Disgusting!! I'd give negative stars if I could! Needless to say, but I won't be back. read more

She even went over my mustache again at the very end just to double make sure I was good to go. Excellent place! I would 100% go check this place out if you are in the area.

I did not get any skin reaction or bumps from her threading. I am so impressed! There was only the typical temporary minor redness that lasted less than an hour. This is the cleanest threading experience I've ever had because my skin did not have any kind of irritation at all. My eyebrows are cleaned up and my skin was fine like nothing happened. Usually at other places, I would break out and have angry inflammation akin to folliculitis that takes a few weeks to heal but somehow that didn't happen here. It was quite magical. Completely unexpected and pleasant surprise! I came here on a whim after perusing Yelp reviews and I'm glad it worked out so well. She's really good! And she keeps the space and tools (her hands and thread) so clean and sanitary. I think that's why I didn't have any infection at all. I didn't know that was even possible (for me not to get a skin infection after threading). The best part was that she listened to my concerns and executed the request well.

My real issue was with my facial, I did tell her I have sensitive acne prone skin and she said she was using products for sensitive skin but I did break out after, and while I was have my massage and facial at the same time she was going from my feet to then rubbing my face. I thought that was very weird and gross. So idk if I broke out because of her going from my feet to face or the products. She is an extremely talented brow artist and an absolute sweetheart! I've been getting my full face, brows, and underarms waxed for almost 6 years now. For the past 9 months I've been looking for a new esthetician. I have rosacea, my skin is extremely sensitive, and prone to ingrown hair. I only see practitioners that use hard wax because my skin is far less reactive to it. It's been tough finding someone who uses hard wax and is a talented brow artist. When I stumbled upon Necesse Aesthetics page on Instagram, I knew that I had to schedule an appointment. The photos and videos of Vanessa's work grabbed my attention immediately! Upon further investigation, I discovered she uses hard wax, and not just any hard wax, Nova hard wax. Nova wax is the gentlest hard wax I've ever experienced. So I booked that appointment, and I was not disappointed in the least. Vanessa provides an amazing, virtually painless, waxing experience. She makes you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. Her bed is cozy and well padded, with a knee/leg bolster if needed. Vanessa pays close attention to details and listens to what you want in terms of brow shaping and color(if you have tinting done). She goes above and beyond to ensure that she is giving you the shape you want. Her keen eye and attention to detail will have your brows looking snatched in no time! Another important detail to mention is that Vanessa provides great aftercare to reduce irritation and reactivity risk. As someone who has a history of highly reactive skin, you wouldn't be able to tell I had waxing done immediately after. So if reactivity is a concern for you, Vanessa might just be the practitioner for you! If you have sensitive skin, are looking for a fantastic brow artist, or just plain don't like waxing because of the pain, you need to book that appointment with Vanessa ASAP!! I want to take a moment to truly recognize how amazing Diana is at what she does. From the moment you sit in her chair, you can feel her professionalism, care, and genuine passion for her work. Her manicures and pedicures are consistently outstanding, and she always takes the time to make sure every detail is perfect. Diana doesn't rush her services--she focuses on quality, comfort, and cleanliness, which makes a huge difference in the overall experience. Her manicure work is flawless. She pays close attention to shaping, cuticle care, and polish application, leaving nails looking clean, healthy, and beautifully finished every single time. The results last, and you can tell she takes pride in making sure her clients leave feeling confident and happy with their nails. She listens carefully to what you want and offers helpful suggestions when needed, making sure the final look is exactly what you had in mind--or even better. Diana's pedicures are just as impressive. She is gentle yet thorough, making the experience relaxing while still delivering excellent results. Your feet feel refreshed, soft, and well cared for after every visit. She maintains high standards of hygiene and professionalism, which gives complete peace of mind and adds to the comfort of the service. It's not just a pedicure--it's a moment of relaxation and self-care that she executes beautifully. What truly sets Diana apart is her attitude and dedication to her clients. She is kind, attentive, and always welcoming, creating an environment where you feel valued and appreciated. Her consistency, skill, and positive energy keep clients coming back again and again. It's clear that she genuinely loves what she does, and that passion shows in every service she provides. On a special note, I'd also like to wish Diana a very Happy Birthday on December 21st . May your day be filled with joy, appreciation, and all the love you give to others throughout the year. Thank you, Diana, for your incredible work, your dedication, and for always delivering such exceptional manicures and pedicures. You are truly one of a kind, and we're so lucky to have you! read more

If you're looking for a nail salon that truly stands out, look no further this place is unmatched. I've been coming here for over couple years, and now it's become a favorite for my mom, best friends, and coworkers as well. It's that good. Whether you're in Manteca California, visiting a friend who simply needs a luxurious services.this salon has you covered. I love that no appointment is necessary. You can just walk in, and the longest I've ever waited was about 5 minutes, which is amazing considering the quality of service they offer. The staffs is efficient, offering both quick services for those in a hurry and relaxing options if you want to unwind and take your time. They offer complimentary drinks, Whether you're a regular or just passing through, this salon will make sure you leave feeling pampered and refreshed. Lately though I find it extremely odd. Why the staffs is yelling and screaming across the room just for conversation. They speak in loud tone like they arguing. My relaxation is not enjoyable. Even though it's in English I don't want to hear it. Another complaint is When I go to the restroom. Ít seems like they cooking food somewhere around there. I can really smell it the Asian Market type of Scent. I love coming here. I been here probably 40 times. I'm just letting it out because if nothing changes. I won't return. I also drive 40 mins away. Please fix my concerns if not you will lose me, my family, friends. Thank you! I really appreciate the quick response and I'm happy to upgrade the stars. Thank you !!! read more

It's 9pm, stop replying to the review. It's over and done with. Why are you still online harassing me. You tried harassing me in the shop now you are trying to harass me online because you refused to stop assassinating my character. You've said that I am not smart, I'm shady, I'm a bad customer, and your employees commenting on my race. Do you want to throw in any other insults. Like I said before you don't know anything about me. I normally don't have fake tips so I get a fresh new set each time I go to my nail lady. Please let this go it's getting quite annoying. As a matter fact, everyone reading this, please run to the shop and get your nails done so the owner can actually have something to do and he can stop posting on yelp. Maybe he can treat another group of people horribly and then they can post a yelp review and he can harass them. You're a joke. And saying that someone is not smart and typing your reply the way that you did shows which one of us is not the smart one. You're still showing everyone here how unprofessional you are. I feel sorry for anyone who visits your business because like I said you're a horrible business owner and that has not changed. I was actually considering taking down my post because I know it could be damaging to your business, but at this point expect a couple more because I have a couple more sites that I'm going to post reviews on....now you have yourself a good night read more

Today was my second visit to this shop & have an appointment with Roy. I am really happy with his work. He gave me a fill 2 weeks prior & I was quite happy with the results. I ask for a new set. to my surprise the process of removing the old set did not HURT at all unlike other nail shops. He soaked my nails in a solution and carefully sand off the old set layer by layer. Other nail shops opt the short cut route by force peeling off the old set from my natural nails. (Going to a nail salon should not be painful.) He took his time to apply the new set on and matched each nail length with the other hand. I am really satisfied with his service, attention to detail and how my nails look perfect. read more

I used to love NT Nails--they had great service, talented nail techs, and a welcoming atmosphere. But after a complete staff turnover, the quality has plummeted. I took a break, hoping they'd hire skilled techs and improve, but it's only gotten worse. The work is rushed, uneven, and just plain sloppy. My nails were lumpy, polish was streaky, and when they asked to fix it, I declined and I got attitude instead of solutions. The vibe? Uninviting. And the signs? "Help us fight inflation--use the ATM." Umm... what? Why not accept Zelle? It's tacky and inconvenient. At this point, it's just not worth the money. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. read more
