I came in two weeks ago and I'm glad I did. This was the best pedicure I've ever had. I got the Pearl pedicure, it included a neck and arm massage and it was wonderful. Tiffany did an amazing job, two weeks later my toes look like she just did them. Everyone was very friendly and made you feel welcome. I went on a Tuesday and it was empty, so it was nice and quiet. I have been going to NT Nail & Spa for a few years now and I still love them!. Miss Lynn, who is one of the owners of the salon, is a very sweet lady. She listens to what I want and makes sure I get it done right. Every time I call or walk in, I am talked to in a happy and welcoming voice. Today, I went to get a refill on my black and rasta nails. I decided I wanted something a bit more Spring style. So I asked for all minty green nails, have my pointer finger have a cherry blossom on it and since I've been obsessed with sugar skulls the past month I decided I would have a sugar skull on my ring fingers. Sophy (I believe that's how you spell it) was my manicurist for the evening. As she was grinding off the previous design she glanced at the color I chose as the base and said, "Oh so you like glow-in-the-dark?". I looked at her a bit confused. She then explained that the color I chose glowed in the dark. I was SO excited :-D. I'll add a picture of my final product along with some other designs I have gotten at NT Nail & Spa. Their customer service is wonderful and I always feel welcome. I also love how they don't grind your natural nail down to nothing when they're gluing on the tips for an acrylic set. I didn't think it was possible to leave a pedicure with my feet in worse shape than when I started. I wish I could post a picture to show how shredded the bottoms of my feet are. The technician hurt me several times, but I couldn't communicate that to her because she speaks no English except "ok, baby?". Services at this place are a waste of time and money. I wanted to give a three star rating but my fingernails are damaged after my experience so it will have to be two. I purchased a basic manicure ($20, no artificial nails, no gels, just basic file and paint of my natural nails) and Deluxe Spa pedicure ($40). I sat down in the chair and soaked my feet while I waited for my tech, Queenie, to gather her supplies. I liked the chair, the water was perfect, and the overall salon atmosphere was very nice (quiet, subdued, dark). I watched as some other customers received bottles of cold water which I thought was very nice but I was not offered one at any point. The pedicure was good. Although she scraped my feet a little too hard (they were raw and red the rest of the day, but I figure I probably needed that as winter-prep) and the paraffin wax was a little too hot (I told her and she left the bag open so it would cool), I was enjoying the experience. However, the whole time she was scraping and massaging, Queenie was looking around the shop. By this I mean she was very obviously turning her head from side to side, looking to see what other techs were doing, looking to see who was coming in the door, watching the register as people were paying. I mean OBVIOUS. Her ponytail was whipping back and forth and she kept wiping her head on her upper arms/shoulders like she was sweaty but she wasn't. I felt like she was exasperated to be there. She also answered her phone once and kept reading and replying to texts. This was all kind of a bummer but I figured Queenie might have been having a bad day and wasn't giving me her complete attention/focus for that reason. I noticed that other techs were having discussions with their clients and seemed more focused so I don't think the way I was treated was the norm for the salon in general. The reason for the TWO STARS rating, however, is that, as she was finishing my pedicure (painting my toenails), before she began on my hands, another client walked in the door. The owner greeted her like he knew her and she mentioned Queenie and another girl by name. The other tech was also with a client. The owner asked both Queenie and the other girl how long they would each be then told the client it would be fifteen minutes for either of them. The lady chose to wait and sat down by the window. Queenie jumped up and started SAWING on my nails. My understanding of fingernails is that you file them in one direction to keep them strong and to not damage them. She was literally sawing back and forth across my fingernails. It wasn't painful but it was shocking. After she very quickly buffed them, she painted one coat on one hand, one coat on the other hand, another coat right on top of the coat she had just painted, then finished the other hand. My nails looked like a five year old had painted them. It was globbed on really thick and several of my fingers (not all) had paint smears down the edges/on the cuticles. My manicure could not have taken her more than eight minutes and, as soon as she took me to the drying station, she took the new client over to her station and they started talking as though they were old friends (the client asked Queenie about her baby). I took the paint off as soon as I got home because it looked so bad. When I took it off, I noticed that my nails were not squared but CURVED in the middle. They were higher on the edges and dipped down in the middle. Additionally, my nails were shredded. I had to rub oil on them to get the pieces of shredded nail off and I didn't want to file them into shape because I didn't want to further damage them. However, one peeled off today while I was making the bed so I had to cut them all off. I am sure it is for the best as they looked so bad and will grow back within two weeks. However, they looked bad and I was so embarrassed that I let her do that to me and that I PAID for it and TIPPED her very well (20%). I won't discount this salon because others' reviews seem positive overall and I got a very good impression from both the atmosphere of the salon and the quantity of and satisfaction of the other clients (everyone seemed happy) but I will not have Queenie as a technician again and I will make note of the service I receive next time. read more

I will never go back. To start, the pedicures start at $45 and are not that great. The technician rushed through my pedicure even though it was a Wednesday morning and the place only had a few customers. When I showed her a picture of what I wanted on my toes she said she could do it. What I wanted was pretty simple. Just black Polish with a row of rhinestones in the colors of the rainbow. She painted my toes and then came back without all the colors. I would have gone with a different idea had I known. Then onto the new set of nails. I told her from the beginning that I don't like wide nails, that I like them to be narrow and natural looking. I had to ask her several times to file the sides and top because they were huge and nowhere near the natural look that I asked for. I could tell that she was getting annoyed with me and made a couple of comments to her coworkers next to her. I finally gave up on the shape thinking i could live with it for 2 weeks as long as the nail art was cute. I showed her a picture and asked if she could do what I wanted and she said yes, she could do that. Um, no she could not. I didn't ask for anything too hard. I got something else completely. So, when I was finally done with my wax, pedi, and new set the bill was $145! This is Ludacris! So after the tip ( I know, I shouldn't have given one, but that is just not who I am) I walked out of the place $160 poorer. I will NEVER return to NT Nails again. read more

I just moved to the area so I was in need of a nail salon I could go to often so I always use Yelp and this salon was awarded "the best" in this area so I decided to give it a try. To say the least it was horrible. I got a French pedicure and the guy painted my nail white and then used nail polish remover to make the line? He didn't even put the pink coat you put on before the white line... I was confused. My toes look horrible and $27 went down the drain. He also ripped my skin and made my big toe bleed. I have been a customer at NT Nail & Spa for a year now for nails and pedicures. My nail technician is great and I love my nails, BUT today my pedicure was not done properly, other than a polish change it doesn't look like I had a pedicure at all! The girl did not take time to do the pedicure properly, they got busy all of a sudden and it's like she was in hurry to finish with me to move on to the next customer because they were short on staff. When I arrived I was the only customer. My heals are still rough and dry and look like just like they did when I came in. When I told management that I was unhappy with my pedicure and showed him my feet he seemed unconcerned and offered to do them again at another time but wanted me to pay full price today for a lousy job with an offer to do them again in the future. I offered to pay for half of the pedicure because I got half the service. Henry was rude, said no you pay full price because maybe you have more calluses today more than a $32 pedicure. That's ridiculous! So instead of accepting my offer to pay half and keep me as a customer he BLAMED my feet instead of the technician for doing a lousy job. I shouldn't have to come back at a later date to redo the pedicure I paid for today. I will take my business to another salon. Enjoy your $16.00 Mr. Henry! read more

I tried NT nails for the first time about a week ago. The staff was nice but a little pushy. I had gotten a pedicure and manicure and enjoyed the massages that came along with them. However, a couple days later I had an infection on one of my toes and my fingernail polish was already chipping. Wasn't worth paying $60 just to only have it last two days and gain an infection along with it. read more

The people that work here are very nice. They are great with little girls and their grandmothers. The pedi's are wonderful. I am a big fan of William's. I really like the way he does my nails.
