I was on vacation and decided to stop at a local nail salon. I waited to long for the salon I wanted to go to, so I looked on Yelp, and found NT Nails. I called them and the owner answered, I asked her if they were still opened, she said no, but asked what I needed. She insisted that come right away. She took me and my mom in after hours and did an outstanding job. The lady who did my nails, did an outstanding job, she was very friendly, but the owner was the most welcoming.I will definitely be coming back to this nail salon when I am in Conroe!!! I have been to almost every nail salon in town and I have finally found the one. They were so kind and pleasant and they gave every person who walked through the door the VIP treatment. They even did my nails and toes at the same time so my husband wouldn't have to wait after his pedicure. Their prices were a little high at first glance but their treatments were amazing and they even gave me one of the best neck massages I've ever had as part of the cheapest package. Big thank you to Jenny at the 105 location for repairing a nail that split my real nail with very little pain. The prices here are about average for the area, and they are worth it. If you want your nails done right & you are limited to the Conroe area go to Nt nails, but be prepared to pay for quality...Im not your traditional nail client I like to try something new each time I come. I feel in love with the solar colors & they have many to choose from at Nt but it becomes a hassle if your like me & loves change & for some reason they don't like clients to soak off if they are not receiving a manicure & I wear my natural nails & receive a overlay & the drill can become painful. Also once I find a good technician that does my nails to my liking I like to come back to them...Good Luck with that at Nt every time I have gone there are new technicians and I can never find the one that did my nails last. Also the prices are high I normally pay $35 at Nt for a solar colored powder overlay (full nail) with designs/glitter but just recently I decided to tone it down and go plain Jane and get a regular manicure with a thin layer of overlay so my nails would be strong, again they don't like for you to waste a chair and soak so the drill has made my nails brittle, I received a thin acrylic overlay and plain ole nude polish & it was also $35 & there was a significant gap in the service I received no designs, no gel polish nor solar & plus I soaked my previous nails off at home. Another thing, if you have called and made a appt. good luck with getting who you made your appt. with, Lynn (the lady at the front who will remember your name if your a regular+) will try & give you some random guy name Jack that will do your nails so thick dirt wont even get under them!- By the way has anyone ever won that raffle??? read more

DO NOT GET ANY WORK FROM DANNY! He is the worst person in my life to do nails! I have real nails that are long and he filed down the sides way too much! So much so that he grinded down into flesh. Now my nails are way out of the shape they are supposed to be in! They aren't even, shaped, nor all the same length. I just went in for a refill and got charged $45. Just plain black refill. Not even my whole nail has polish on it, like how do you not paint the whole nail. There are a bunch of bubbles in the clear coat too. Plus just got them done and they already look grown out, so I need them redone! I'm so pissed read more

Update: I have since given this place another shot as its so close to my home. I spoke with the manager about my last visit and each visit since has been 5 star. Ambiance is great - low lit and soft music. Tons and tons of pedi chairs. Accommodating to children as well. Now don't get me wrong - this place is HUGE with dozens of pedi chairs... But for a $32 pedi... I was in and out on 15 min. She barely massaged my legs... Not sure whAt the $32 was for other than to pay overhead to this salon read more

Just had THE worst experience getting my nails done at NT Nail Salon off of 336 by the "old" HEB. So I go in and tell them I would like a refill and pedicure. The guy says ok he'll be right with me. I waited about 15 minutes, the shop was busy. I had a decent pedicure, although she used the wrong color. I was busy texting and wasn't paying attention and she used the one the lady next to me picked out, but I'm ok because it's just polish right, no biggie. After the pedicure I thank her and go to the front to wait for someone to do my nails, just a simple refill of pink and white powder. I'm waiting there... waiting... waiting... ten minutes go by and I get up and walk around, the manager dude (Henry) finally comes to the front and he says "All done?" And I said no I still need a refill. He starts talking in whatever language, Vietnamese, or Chinese I do not know. A few minutes more and the lady who did my feet came up and said sorry, she didn't know I was getting a refill. Honest mistake. So we get started and while she's grinding off the old powder I let her know the machine thing is getting hot and burning my nail. She says sorry and keeps going, same speed, same freaking nail. Like ouch... whatever I get through it. She moves on, we're putting the new powder on now. It has taken her an hour and a half and we're still not done!! We get to the grinding part again where she has to buff the new stuff to make it even. This lady cuts me on three different fingers!!!! I'm like sweating because I'm getting so mad! THEN a customer from yesterday apparently walks in and is very calm and polite, but she is complaining to manager Henry about her pedicure and manicure. Her manicure did not last 2 hours before the polish came completely off three fingers, and her heel is bleeding! She said she was in there yesterday evening and stayed 30 minutes after closing for them to finish her services, and so she left and went to dinner, realized she was bleeding on her heel, but it's 30-40 minutes after closing time now so she knows the nail salon is closed and she won't be able to go back that day. So she comes in and demands her money back and guys... she is complaining and saying she really doesn't want to call to complain on them but she will if she has to and Henry just keeps telling her that if she was hurt she should have complained yesterday and all he's willing to do is fix her nails, and the lady is telling him she told the guy doing her pedicure that it did hurt and she pulled away when it happened but didn't realize she was bleeding until she left. But Henry kept repeating himself and told her to go ahead and complain but he's not giving a refund. Oh AND the lady kept asking for the managers number at the other location, NT 2 by the Kroger off 336 and 105, and he refused and told her to LOOK IT UP!!! I just couldn't believe it. I was so ready to get out of there, and will NEVER go back to either of those!! Ahhhh!! read more
