Staying for one night after getting off our virgin voyages cruise. We were able to lounge on the rooftop bar and pool area. While the hotel is beautiful, rooms are spacious and it's located near brickell. Unfortunately you cannot have restful sleep at any time of day. First we thought it was just house keeping using the staff elevator while attempting to nap around check in. Front desk stated this should end around 5:30. After returning from a late happy hour we could still hear banging, bags rolling, doors closing across the hall, ppls full conversations and cackling all night. For a resort hotel of this caliber the walls are beyond thin. They shouldn't be charging half the price for constant disruption. The space is beautiful but they definitely take the cheap route where they can including the 1ply toilet paper. Showers need an upgrade read more

Stay somewhere else. Period. Even if it's a little more. Front desk is HORRIBLY RUDE. Room was falling apart, they don't have conditioner in the shower, soap was empty, bad location in brickell. They tried to scam me on a higher rate when I wanted to extend a night. Tried to charge me $350 over the price on THEIR OWN WEBSITE. Then forced me to come to the front desk and book from my phone so I could keep my room. Room service showed up 2 hours late. They won't let Uber Eats bring items up to your room. I left some clothes in my room and when I called to retrieve them they were magically gone. read more

Enjoyed a weekend stay at Novotel. It doesn't look like much at first, but it has quite a bit going for it. Breakfast was included everyday, there were pastries, cereal, eggs, lox, sausage, granola, fruit and more! There's a pool for hotel guest and they brought out a DJ on Saturday which was fun. It also is in a good location with a Publix next door and all things Brickell a couple blocks away. Pool area also has happy hour 3-7 during the week for food and drinks! I am CURRENTLY staying at this hotel, and let me tell you. Oh how I wish I was staying idk ANYWHERE ELSE. The website lists room features that don't exist. There's no hot tub and the rooftop pool layout is atrocious. They only have 3 pool chairs so most people are laying or sitting on the ground and when there's an event they have to block off the majority of the only sitting room they have. The food is good, but don't pay for breakfast if you can't actually sit downstairs and eat it because you can't take it back to your room so whatever you do....don't have a big work project or deadlines or you'll be paying extra for room service for a meal you already paid for with your outrageous nightly cost of staying here. The "market" has very little of what you'd actually need so please whatever you do..DO NOT forget something or you'll wind up at CVS instead. (they do have snacks and booze though so if thats all you need you're good). The only shower supplies they provide are shampoo and shower gel so make sure you bring those too. Honestly. I'm so disappointed in this place, especially with the cost and how much I paid to stay here. I travel a lot and always recommend places to people I interact with. I stayed at this hotel for a quick getaway. I arrived early around 10:40am and I was able to check in early for $50. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing and the staff was friendly during check-in. This hotel is located across from a Walgreens, Sky Coffee and Simpson park, all are within walking distance. The rooftop pool is really nice, they also have a bar near the pool, I opted for a virgin mojito which was the only option for a mocktail. The wings at the hotel are pretty good, 7 wings $16 on the menu but room service total was $27, the staff was nice enough to comp the wings because of the timeframe it took for them to be delivered (30 mins). They do have on site parking for a daily fee. Day 2 of my stay. Today I decided to dine in the restaurant inside the hotel for break, it's called UVA. I ordered the salmon bagel and it is delicious. Bagel with smoked salmon, capers, onions and tomato. Staff was friendly, Isabella was my server but all the staff checked on me during my dining experience. Once I was done with my activities for the day I went back to the pool, it does get crowded but they have a lot of seating options. The hotel also has different roo activities from Wednesday-Sunday. Day 3 of my stay. I didn't spend much time at the hotel this morning but once I came back I called for my room to be cleaned and fresh towels. I had to callback because it was over an hour since my initial call. I did receive the fresh towels after the second call but it took 15-20 mins before housekeeping came to clean my room. The housekeeper was nice and cleaned quickly. She emptied the trash, took the dirty towels and put on fresh sheets. Day 4 checking out was very simple and fast. Overall, my stay here was very nice. I thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the hotel is beautiful, the room is nice and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again. The area is less active and does not have much in walking distance from what I saw but the hotel itself is definitely nice. read more

Novotel Miami Brickell was a great experience from start to finish. Conveniently located less than 10 mins from the Miami cruise ship terminals, it was the perfect place to stay 1 day/night before flying back to Houston, TX. It only took us 8-9 mins to Uber from the hotel to the airport as well. While we were here, I needed to get some work done on my computer, and was worried the wifi wouldn't be strong or reliable. But luckily their wifi is GREAT! I had no problems at all. There are plenty of tables, chairs, outlets, etc in their lobby, in your room, or on their 12th floor overlooking the city. I was surprised how nice their gym and pool was on the 12th flr also. Their rooms were SPACIOUS and CLEAN. For Miami and the price, this hotel is a great bang for your buck. Absolutely astonishing Hotel. I wish we stayed here longer! We flew in early from a red eye and the man at the front desk, Jordan was so accommodating and allowed us to check in early. From the early check in, to all of the Ammenities-- this hotel deserves more than a 5 star. I don't remember all off the staff members name, but everyone here was sooo nice. The ambiance is everything you see pictured. You can tell that everything was thought through and the design was so creative. We didn't get to try out the food, but the bar was outstanding. I stayed here for a few nights as this was the location for our quarterly management meeting. There were about 30 of us staying here in rooms, along with occupying one of their large conference rooms for our presentations. The hotel lobby has a tall Impressive ceiling; a very fresh clean look. There's a bar here, a restaurant, and conference rooms; very convenient. My room with a king bed was nice, not that big, but felt clean. The shower was a good size, though the bathroom lacked counter space for toiletries. The espresso machine with Lavazza pods was a nice touch. The fridge worked well, and so did the TV, located right in front of the bed. Service here was good. Each day there was a breakfast table set up with different drinks. For one morning there was only fruit and pastries offered for breakfast so I went and ate at their restaurant. The service was good there and the bacon and eggs were cooked well. The rooftop has a bar and impressive pool. The view is really nice. The bartender was super friendly and talkative. One aspect I didn't like was the lack of small rooms or areas to have a peaceful discussion. Five of us on our team wanted to huddle one afternoon for just an hour to talk, and when I asked the front desk for a meeting room, they had a hotel staff member call me and tell me the cost is usually $500 but would provide one at a discount of $300. For one hour? No thanks. Further, because I was stuck in a meeting, I asked for a 3pm checkout, instead of noon, and they refused to do it unless I paid extra. read more

Decided to book a quick weekend staycation for my anniversary and the place was just as beautiful as everyone online described it to be. Decor: 100/10 Loved the lobby decor and color way, it was absolutely gorgeous. Great area to take really cute pictures. Rooms: We booked the Executive Suite and it was absolutely gorgeous! The views were amazing, the room was very spacious which I loved. The bathroom was very modern which added a nice touch to the overall feel of the room. Amenities: There is a rooftop bar that you have access to in which we took advantage of, great drinks and nice views is something you can never go wrong with! We ordered a view drinks which were absolutely amazing. The pool was nice, overall this was a nice plus to our stay. Service: Staff were very nice and helpful. Check in/ check out was smooth and quick. Cons: The biggest con was that there was no valet and you had to pay for parking. Keep this in mind during your stay especially if you'll be on and off the property exploring the city. I like a form mattress but this was like sleeping on a concrete block. I'd maybe thing it was just this one but the pillows were like boulders themselves. As of may 15th I'm gonna be living in Miami and I've been a few times since November to check out Florida and see what part agrees with me. So I have friends that live in Brickell and so I decided to exolore for a few days by visiting this hotel. It seemed ok. Perhaps because of the pandemic you cant really get any hot food besides a warmed up cressointe and some coffee. They have a "party " upstairs at the rooftop pool. Interesting crowd. Some girls who were like 17 tried to convince me to buy them drinks...since I'm 42 I stayed away from the jailbait convention. And it's a credit to Roberto the bartender on the rooftop that he wouldnt get them a drink either. Those views are amazing. It's a 3 block walk from one of my favorite restaurants in Brickell :gyu kaku. You have a choice ...either sushi and salad or full blown meat fest. Although the railway is like 30 yards from the hotel it would not contribute to you not sleeping. It's about a 10 block walk or a $8.00 uber or Lyft to downtown brickell where some of the local nightlife is. The lobby of this place smells like a perfume factory. If you want to spend time in miami beach then you should get a hotel in miami beach: free advice. I think 4 nights here cost less than $600.00 from booking.com read more

I was quite satisfied with my stay at this newer Novotel. Location was good, in Brickell, but not as great as some other hoteld in the area, more centrally located. This is one of the better Novotels, as I am quite familiar with the brand. Tasteful common areas, spacious and nicely furnished rooms, good service, friendly staff in caffee and bar, as well as at front desk. The only minuses are location and the fact that it was way too expensive (well, high season). Look forward to stay there again soon. read more

The location and relative youth of this hotel (less than 10 years old) are pretty much the only redeeming factors. Other than that, I found it completely ABSURD that when I brought leftovers back that I wanted to heat up later, I could not heat them up because the rooms do not come with microwaves. You have to pay $15 to RENT a microwave from them, which I was not going to do for just one leftover meal. Even if they don't want to supply a microwave to each room, they could at least put one in each of the ice machine rooms that are in the middle of the hallway. Another huge annoyance: the rooftop bar and pool were not opened during the hours that they said it would be. Myself and other guests got to the rooftop bar and pool at 9pm, which should have been fine seeing as the posted hours on both the door and on the flyer they give you at check-in say it is open until 10pm. But nope. It was dark and closed and I guess they figure the bar area at the lobby suffices but, like, the whole reason why people choose this hotel other than location is because of the VIEWS at the top floor bar. It just feels like false advertising. Lastly, if you try to call the front desk for ANY reason, don't expect an answer. I tried to ask the front desk a question by calling several times, only to go down to see that the front desk clerk was just chillin. And I won't even mention the $35 per night parking fee. To their credit, I saw no roaches or bedbugs, which are important to me when selecting a hotel. But everything else was wack. read more

Stayed at Novotel after a cruise and it served it's purpose. The aesthetics and the staff were great! We were able to check in super early and got to enjoy the rooftop pool. The rooms were very clean and modern. The hotel is located by train tracks so you will hear the train but it's not loud to the point of being disturbing. However, the noise level on our floor was not ideal. It was possibly a one off since it was a holiday weekend but we could hear entire conversations from the guests next door as well as a constant banging sound which couls have been issues with pipes. Overall, it's a nice place with great service. read more

Visiting on a business trip, the check in was quick. From what I can see, the hotel is about half mile from the waterfront. Not sure why they would stick corporate customers on the lowest floor facing trees. While here I plan to use the gym which is on the top floor facing the city view. Heads up! If you're getting married, this hotel is NOT the place for you... you won't feel special on that important day. They could care less. Fornus, the experience at this hotel was completely disappointing. I was gifted a night here with my fiancée to spend our first night together as husband and wife and all we found was inconveniences all around. First, the parking is not included for the guests which I find completely absurd if you're already spending money on a room. But, whatever.. I guess that's nothing too bad to complaint about.. because of course, "you're gonna have a great and relaxing experience right?" So it's worth it. ... well, this wasn't the case! We get to the front desk, we get our room key and off we go to the room. We get there and not one little sign of "congrats" or anything.. so ok, we are just some regular clients. You can tell they don't put an extra effort for the special occasions. The bathroom doesn't even have an air extractor which is weird... we noticed there was just one small bottle of water and called to receive another one because we are two people, you know. The rooms is for two. The lady just said "we only give one.. you have to buy it" ... we notice there was just one towel so we called to get another one.. on that call we also asked for a toothpaste since we found none in the bathroom .. their answer? "You have to buy it" .. "oh no wait.. we ran out of toothpaste in the store of the hotel" We asked for a slipper or something... "you have to buy it" At this point we were so tired and uncomfortable with the whole situation that we called to say "please give us a refund... we don't want to stay the night.. how can it be that we don't even receive WATER because you only give a small bottle per room. We are celebrating our marriage and this is way we are treated as clients?" The answer was "let me talk to the manager" (the one that should have solved the issues from the first place!) We suddenly hear a knock on the door.. a bag with the towel we asked for.. 2 bottles of water and 2 toothbrushes with a tiny toothpaste. After we were told they did not have any. Not once did we receive a call apologizing for the whole situation. We felt they brought the things we asked for as a way of saying "here! Don't bother us anymore" We tried to relax.. take a shower and let everything go.. But we spent like 10 min trying to turn on the shower and it was stuck. Called to get some help and not even the guy could do it. After trying several times he did. He leaves And I noticed there's no shower cap and I did not want to get my hair wet. At this point we are already uncomfortable to have to call for the like 5th time to ask for something so basic as a shower cap! come on! You're in a hotel. What are we paying for? A bed? Honestly, not even comfy. Huge hard pillows that will leave you with neck pain. We tried to still enjoy and let go of the bad service, disappointing moments and "stingy-ness" of this place. But once we pulled the sheets... we found a hair. I founded nasty. Period. The lightbulb was twitching so we had to turn it off because it was very annoying. I wake up around 7:30 am, get up towards the bathroom and saw a paper they slipped under the door... what would you think? Maybe apologies for the inconveniences we found last night.. a 'congrats' card for the wedding.. a 'welcome-to-our-hotel' card... or something.. well no, it was the receipt of the night and the parking. Are you kidding me? At this point we feel like they are just kicking us out. Honestly I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Unless you want to throw you money away. We stayed here for a full week and have absolutely no complaints. The hotel is modern. Well kept very clean. They have a great fitness center and the facility itself is beautiful. We had consistent room service while we were there. Everyone did an incredible job cleaning up after our mess. From, check in to check out. We had nothing but a great experience. We spent most of our days at the pool, which can get very busy on weekends, but if you go around 11 AM you should be able to get a spot. This hotel is in a really quiet location away from the craziness, which we enjoyed. Highly recommend this hotel. We will stay here again when we come back to Miami. read more

I chose this hotel because of the reviews and the deal I received from TripAdvisor. Once I arrived, I noticed that the hotel looked exactly like the photos! I was then greeted by a very friendly desk attendant (I didn't catch his name but he has salt and pepper hair, kinda short, and very outgoing). We had a lovely conversation as he checked me in, and assured me of all of the hotel amenities. I was placed on the 4th floor and had a great view of the city. I was worried that I would hear the elevator noise from my room, but that was never a problem. My room was the perfect size for me and my dog, but I recommend a bigger room for a couple. My room was clean and stocked with everything that I needed. On the second day, I decided to check out the rooftop pool. Once again, it looked just like the photos online. The water was warm and the view was spectacular. There is also a full bar. Due to Covid, room cleaning occurs every 3 days. This was perfect because I ran out of clean towels on the 3rd day. Once I returned to my room, my trash was taken out, bed was made, and the cleaner even laid out my dog's clothes on the bed. My only complaint is that I noticed that my sheets were dirty on the last night of my stay. I didn't mention this to the front desk because I realized I had already slept in them, I was super tired and I know things aren't always perfect. Overall, I had an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Brickell area. read more

NOTE: Review is only for the UVA Restaurant inside of Novotel. I have no issue with the hotel itself. We love the room. That would be 4-stars. However, My sister and I dined at this restaurant located inside of the hotel. She ordered a cheeseburger (well-done) with sweet potato fries. I ordered rustic fries to eat there and a chicken quesadilla to go. I wanted to eat it in my room. Approximately 20-25 minutes later, her burger came out. I had no fries. She cut open her burger only to find it was medium, with some pink, and not well done. I advised the bartender/waiter and inquired on my fries. He advised me that there was a large batch that was dropped Nad they would be out soon. He came to take my sister's burger back to refire. She asked him to leace off the tomato bacause she forgot the first time. He confirmed it. Next he brought out my to-go order, and I still hadn't received my French fries. So, I told him to cancel the fries. He, finally, brought out my sister's new burger which was cooked perfectly this time, but had an even larger slice of tomato on it. Yes, she took it off and enjoyed the burger. He still brought out the order of fries, 45 minutes after I ordered them, and told me that he did not charge me for them. They weren't even hot, which made me even madder about this ordeal. Then, to top off this not-so-great experience, they automatically added a 20% gratuity to our bill and it was just 2 of us dining in. Well we just checked out and I'm sitting in the airport reflecting on our stay here this weekend. I must say wow...it really was great! Below is a summary of my thoughts: 1. Pulling up, the hotel feels awkwardly placed but once you actually walk around and explore the area...you realize it's the perfect location! It's near Publix, Walgreens, restaurants, nightlife...everything that represents a nice Brickell vibe. Loved the location. 2 . Our room was clean and crisp with an awesome view. It takes some adjustment to not having room service everyday but it just made us spruce up more lol. 3. The rooftop pool/bar is DEFINITELY a highlight of this hotel and our stay. Awesome city views...beautiful friendly people, and a peaceful yet vibrant energy. We went back at least 3 times during our stay to mix mingle and relax. 4. Front desk workers and servers at the lobby restaurant were pleasant, prompt, and professional. I must say, staying here made our trip to Miami quite memorable! Keep up the good work. Interiors: 5/5 The decor in this hotel is amazing, totally my vibe with the beach soft pinks and white in the common areas (rooftop pool and lobby). The sunset view from the rooftop pool is really nice! The rooms themselves are really spacious and comfortable and stylish, even with a large-ish desk that was perfect for getting some remote work done. Service: 5/5 Everyone at the front desk was more than friendly, telling us funny stories about the late night shift, and any waitstaff we encountered the same. We didn't request too many services, just not that kind of people, but overall we felt a nice vibe. Location: 4/5 Marking this a bit lower just so people are aware the location is slightly outside of downtown, although the walk is nothing unmanageable. Stayed here for 2 weeks on a work trip. Love the bar area and the employees are really nice. Parking overnight got pricey but makes sense cause of the area. The pool is nice and quiet / relaxing. YES YES YES!!! The aesthetics are everything here. Price is affordable to in Miami! Everything is pretty much 10-20 min drive if it's not nearby. I enjoyed my stay here thoroughly. I had an inconvenience where i got hurt after going out and they provided me with some band-aids, luckily there is a Walgreens within walking distance! You can get so many nice pictures from the lobby to the rooftop bar/pool. So many amenities at this hotel! And the aesthetic is gorgeous and simply unique! Rooms have nice large windows and the hotel has various events during the week/weekend on the rooftop! Food was pretty good too! I had the pizza, quesadilla, and calamari and all were delicious! They also have full body mirrors in the room, which is a huge plus!! read more

The checkin was quick simple and good They did inform me of loosing the garage card and the fee would be $150 Booked via booking and they new that and the only thing needed was a card for incidentals which is the normal . We got a king room it was comfortable I love the colors of this hotel Self parking is $25 which is the only reason I am giving 4 stars because it's such a narrow garage entrance the parking lot is weird There is double spaces so beware if someone parks behind you you could be Stuck The bathroom is decent the shower glass is only one side For $100 was a great price and the staff was decent there wasn't any other communication We stayed in room 405 which was a king size View to the street It didn't have any bad smells read more
