I stayed at this hotel for a quick getaway. I arrived early around 10:40am and I was able to check in early for $50. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing and the staff was friendly during check-in. This hotel is located across from a Walgreens, Sky Coffee and Simpson park, all are within walking distance. The rooftop pool is really nice, they also have a bar near the pool, I opted for a virgin mojito which was the only option for a mocktail. The wings at the hotel are pretty good, 7 wings $16 on the menu but room service total was $27, the staff was nice enough to comp the wings because of the timeframe it took for them to be delivered (30 mins). They do have on site parking for a daily fee. Day 2 of my stay. Today I decided to dine in the restaurant inside the hotel for break, it's called UVA. I ordered the salmon bagel and it is delicious. Bagel with smoked salmon, capers, onions and tomato. Staff was friendly, Isabella was my server but all the staff checked on me during my dining experience. Once I was done with my activities for the day I went back to the pool, it does get crowded but they have a lot of seating options. The hotel also has different roo activities from Wednesday-Sunday. Day 3 of my stay. I didn't spend much time at the hotel this morning but once I came back I called for my room to be cleaned and fresh towels. I had to callback because it was over an hour since my initial call. I did receive the fresh towels after the second call but it took 15-20 mins before housekeeping came to clean my room. The housekeeper was nice and cleaned quickly. She emptied the trash, took the dirty towels and put on fresh sheets. Day 4 checking out was very simple and fast. Overall, my stay here was very nice. I thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the hotel is beautiful, the room is nice and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again. The area is less active and does not have much in walking distance from what I saw but the hotel itself is definitely nice.

Desk in my room that won't even hold my laptop - and I can't put my legs anywhere - because it is all of 4 inches deep.

Room "feels" high end with some of the finishes & the bathroom, but other furnishings scream Ibis which is Accor's budget - spartan hostel-like brand in Europe. Don't plan on working in your room - check out the "desk".

Great hotel, felt age appropriate for an early 30s group I was with. Great energy on the pool rooftop and nice lounge bar. The drinks were strong, you definitely get your money worth. Overall good service and great location in Brickell

The service is great! The decor is outstanding! The espresso martini was delicious. I love the stand alone open bar ! Check it out for yourself!

Food: 3.75. Review for Vista Rooftop Bar which is located on the rooftop of this hotel. Came by for a late night (9:20 pm) Monday meal. Food is from their restaurant located on the lobby floor (UVA Restaurant). Cutoff for food was 9:30 pm We ordered their Cubano sandwich, sweet potato fries, and calamari. Food took a lot of time and tasted like it was sitting out for a bit (not hot). Luckily, the food had good flavor. Fries were still slightly crispy even though most were cold Service was okay. Ambiance is excellent with great views. Pool is also located next to seating area. Sadly, rooftop is close at 10 pm so it was a quick meal. Service: 3.5 Ambiance: 4.5 Value: 3.5

Novotel Miami Brickell was a great experience from start to finish. Conveniently located less than 10 mins from the Miami cruise ship terminals, it was the perfect place to stay 1 day/night before flying back to Houston, TX. It only took us 8-9 mins to Uber from the hotel to the airport as well. While we were here, I needed to get some work done on my computer, and was worried the wifi wouldn't be strong or reliable. But luckily their wifi is GREAT! I had no problems at all. There are plenty of tables, chairs, outlets, etc in their lobby, in your room, or on their 12th floor overlooking the city. I was surprised how nice their gym and pool was on the 12th flr also. Their rooms were SPACIOUS and CLEAN. For Miami and the price, this hotel is a great bang for your buck. The rooms have a coffee maker and small refrigerator also. 10/10 would recommend this hotel for your comfortable stay in Miami. Thanks Novotel!

Absolutely astonishing Hotel. I wish we stayed here longer! We flew in early from a red eye and the man at the front desk, Jordan was so accommodating and allowed us to check in early. From the early check in, to all of the Ammenities-- this hotel deserves more than a 5 star. I don't remember all off the staff members name, but everyone here was sooo nice. The ambiance is everything you see pictured. You can tell that everything was thought through and the design was so creative. We didn't get to try out the food, but the bar was outstanding. Extremely impressed by this hotel. Thank you so much for having us!

I stayed here for a few nights as this was the location for our quarterly management meeting. There were about 30 of us staying here in rooms, along with occupying one of their large conference rooms for our presentations. The hotel lobby has a tall Impressive ceiling; a very fresh clean look. There's a bar here, a restaurant, and conference rooms; very convenient. My room with a king bed was nice, not that big, but felt clean. The shower was a good size, though the bathroom lacked counter space for toiletries. The espresso machine with Lavazza pods was a nice touch. The fridge worked well, and so did the TV, located right in front of the bed. Service here was good. Each day there was a breakfast table set up with different drinks. For one morning there was only fruit and pastries offered for breakfast so I went and ate at their restaurant. The service was good there and the bacon and eggs were cooked well. The rooftop has a bar and impressive pool. The view is really nice. The bartender was super friendly and talkative. One aspect I didn't like was the lack of small rooms or areas to have a peaceful discussion. Five of us on our team wanted to huddle one afternoon for just an hour to talk, and when I asked the front desk for a meeting room, they had a hotel staff member call me and tell me the cost is usually $500 but would provide one at a discount of $300. For one hour? No thanks. Further, because I was stuck in a meeting, I asked for a 3pm checkout, instead of noon, and they refused to do it unless I paid extra.

Absolutely one the best hotels in the Brickell area that won't rip a hole in your pocket! Travel dates Jan 23-26. Service : Dwain is the true ambassador of hospitality. His attention and authentic concern of every customer's needs shines as soon as he smiles through the mask. Lobby: Clean and impressive. From taking zoom calls to meeting with friends, the lobby has several areas to enjoy life's demands. Room: My room was clean and smells incredible fresh. The bed is comfortable and the AC is easy to use. Gym: Small but has everything you need for a work out. From running a few miles to a HIIT session, stay fit while traveling. Morning Bar Service: The lady tried her best but when a line formed more than 2-3 customers, she became flustered and needed to repeat questions and answers from customers. No one helped her which was surprising as a new morning manager seemed to start on the job. Central location: Grocery store and Walgreens is located across the street. 10-12 min short walk to the city center of Brickell.

The hotel has all the look of an amazing establishment and the staff was really nice. The rooms are nice and clean as well but the beds and pillows. On my. I like a form mattress but this was like sleeping on a concrete block. I'd maybe thing it was just this one but the pillows were like boulders themselves. If you want a booghie looking hotel with a hard bed. This is your place. I will say the Cuban coffee maker in the room was amazing and the bathroom was really nice. It was the bed that kilt it for me.

As of may 15th I'm gonna be living in Miami and I've been a few times since November to check out Florida and see what part agrees with me. So I have friends that live in Brickell and so I decided to exolore for a few days by visiting this hotel. It seemed ok. Perhaps because of the pandemic you cant really get any hot food besides a warmed up cressointe and some coffee. They have a "party " upstairs at the rooftop pool. Interesting crowd. Some girls who were like 17 tried to convince me to buy them drinks...since I'm 42 I stayed away from the jailbait convention. And it's a credit to Roberto the bartender on the rooftop that he wouldnt get them a drink either. Those views are amazing. It's a 3 block walk from one of my favorite restaurants in Brickell :gyu kaku. You have a choice ...either sushi and salad or full blown meat fest. Although the railway is like 30 yards from the hotel it would not contribute to you not sleeping. It's about a 10 block walk or a $8.00 uber or Lyft to downtown brickell where some of the local nightlife is. The lobby of this place smells like a perfume factory. If you want to spend time in miami beach then you should get a hotel in miami beach: free advice. I think 4 nights here cost less than $600.00 from booking.com

Do they have onsite electric car parking/charging?

Is this near the beach ? Walking distance?

Not near the beach. We took lyft and it wasquiteca drive

How do u get the free breakfast, show your room key, do they give you vouchers or how does that work?

We didn't have free breakfast either. We loved their restaurant, but paid for it each time. If you get it, li would think they would give you vouchers.

Is it true the rooftop pool is free 2:00pm-7:00pm to the public on Saturdays?

It's open to the public, or was when I was there, but I believe non-guests pay $20 each or something. It was actually annoying to me as a guest and one of the reasons I probably won't go back as there were a lot of them, taking up all the chairs etc

    What about parking?

No garage parking (employees only). No on street parking overnight either. $40 extra dollars a night for valet since there is no other option for at least a mile or two.

Is an uber expensive to get to the beaches/south beach?

We had a deal on LYFT with up to 3 bucks off a ride so from atton b to south beach for two was about 4 bucks. We also checked Uber and if it were not for the discount offer they withdrew he pretty close in price. Our LYFT Just know that there's no… Read more

Walking distance to a Publix, the mall, bakery, etc. The hotel checkin is on the 6th floor, the first floor is mainly a seating area and concierge. They offer free hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in the room, cruise shuttle at time of this review is priced at $12 with pick up times at 10a, 11a, and 12p. If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. The cruise port ride was booked for 8am, so I beat the 9am bumper car cruise port traffic. The video I posted is short and quick, but a glimpse of the room

We had a two day stay before heading out on a cruise. An extended vacation if you will. The service was phenomenal! We stayed on the Elite Level which provided extra goodies, and benefits. Sharing a picture below of what they define as the elite level and the benefits included. The location is perfect, in the middle of all things Brickell/Downtown. We were surrounded by restaurants/eateries, coffee shops, stores, the park, city centre you name it! Super convenient because we didn't need to call a Lyft to get around. So you better believe on the days we did go out, we got our steps in. It's giving HEALTH! 2026 who?! We are starting NOW honey! Okay, back to the review....hot (and cold if you're into that) breakfast was served each morning for free! You read that correctly. Free food honey. I mean you did pay for it so why not go ahead and eat? Your business not mine. Non-smoking hotel. Pools. Fitness center. The whole ordeal. A little store with snacks, drinks, and whatever else you feel you may need or want. I should also add that the hotel prides themselves on being accessible. Let's move towards cleanliness. Because cleanliness is next to what?! Godliness! Okay, I see yall! The room oozed of cleaning products. You would have thought the staff had just left from pouring Clorox and whatever other good smells needed to make a space smell delicious. Oozing with fresh aromas! The bed, not mine, but theres, was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in when traveling. Hotel beds typically don't bring out the best in me, I am in fear of all beds that are not my own. Laugh if you must but I am who I am! However, a soft bed with clean linings - sign me TF up. The elite levels are on the 14th and 15th floors. They provide robes and slippers. Did not wear the robe. Read what I said about the beds and sit with that. Anyway, I did wear the slippers and they are about as thin as a sheet of loose leaf paper lmao! The chair rolled on top of mine and ripped the back of it so they lasted about 12 hours for me. #SelfInflicted I know. It's a nice touch to have in your hotel room though. Me personally, I travel with slippers. As I bring this review to a close, I want to highlight the staff members that assisted during the stay. Mr. Ernest, Russell, and everyone else at the front desk that extended a warm welcome and consistent assistance. Thank you again! One hiccup that was addressed immediately. They have an "in-room dining option." This particular policy states that you can order food and have the food delivered to your room. Okay convenience! And accessibility! Well I ordered some food from a nearby eatery and the delivery person was not allowed up. "We don't allow people to come up to the rooms for safety reasons." Heard. And appreciated. Truly!! They value safety. My issue was when asked about the policy in place, being asked if I had a medical condition to where I couldn't come down and to get my delivery. While a relevant question, that is something I'd recommend treading lightly around. You never know anyone's health/medical condition. Furthermore, if your policy states one thing then every staff member needs to be on one accord. The issue was taken care of and the person was able to deliver my order. The front desk member was also not rude just inquiring. I appreciate how quickly the matter was resolved. If you're headed on a cruise or you're in need of a nice hotel that is conveniently located, Hampton Inn Brickell is your girl (or boy), be who you are!

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

Ultimately, this review is mostly moot as the hotel is planned to be demolished in May (I wish I…read morehad known this prior to booking) and that explains a lot about the property. First, the good, it's an awesome location on the southern tip of Brickell Key. The pool was wonderful and gets mostly continuous sun exposure during the day. My balcony faced west so I had sun during the afternoon as well (perfect for a tan). Honestly, I never felt like I needed to leave the resort being a pool guy. The base price room was spacious and mostly clean with a separate shower and tub. The bad- the service wasn't great here. I felt like anytime I needed something I had to ask 3-4 times before staff would remember (including freebies that were part of the room rate). The one time I asked a concierge for assistance he was super brash telling me to go talk to the front desk. The property felt old and in need of a renovation (again it's being demolished so not surprising in that context). Also, a lot of the ads for the resort promote its beach which no longer exists- it's now a model home for the condos going in. The hotel is pricey and gratuity is auto-included at 20% for everything which would be fine if the service was better and they didn't ask for additional tip on top of it. I wish I stayed here 20+ years ago because it felt like in its hay day this was a swanky hotel. Today, it's tired, on its last months, and the staff really don't seem like 5-star talent (as a benefit to the doubt most people would be unmotivated if things were shutting down too). Part of me is excited to try the new hotel whenever it opens, part of me wonders if the poor service is just part of the brand. The gym was tacky- literally they just through equipment in 6ish guest rooms with the doors propped open. Kind of funny but not 5-star hotel caliber.

Our attendant was attentive but not hovering, kept the drinks coming, and food came out fast. Everything we ordered was solid -- perfect pool-day food and refreshing cocktails. There is a minimum spend requirement for the cabana, but it was super easy to hit between food and drinks. And considering you're paying for a dedicated space, service, and a prime poolside setup, it felt worth it. Overall, it was the perfect day to unwind and feel a little luxe. I'd definitely book the Ivy cabana again.

The food was very good as well. We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast as part of our hot tub booking, which was a nice bonus and a great way to start the day. One of the highlights of the hotel is the easy beach access from the back. You can simply walk out and reach the beach, and the area feels safe and lively. You'll often see people jogging, exercising, and enjoying the outdoors, which adds to the energetic South Beach vibe. The walk around the area is pleasant, and the overall atmosphere feels fun and relaxed. Overall, the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel is a wonderful place with great service, good food, and a cool beachside vibe. I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Five stars for the location and awesome amenities…read more This hotel was the perfect place to stay at for a quick Miami getaway located walking distance to the beach and all the main things you could possibly want. After a long day of travel, we received two Prosecco as soon as we checked in and arrived. Our room was upgraded and it was located right across on top of the Naked Taco where the rooftop pool is at. It's perfectly located for anything you want to do, all the good food spots, bars, places, etc. The next day we went straight to the beach and they provide complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrellas upon request and you just walk yourself to the beach with them. There's nothing like Miami Beach! The water was perfect and it felt so good to just defrost on the sand and dive into the gorgeous turquoise water. After a few hours at the beach, we went back, enjoyed late check out and headed to crunch fitness - which was absolutely worth it! We were able to leave our bags at the front desk while we worked out, grabbed a late lunch, some drinks and then got to come back and enjoy the rooftop pool during happy hour for drinks and snacks until sunset. It was the perfect Miami daycation that we needed!

And the five-star touch continued inside thanks to Melody, the Director of Front Desk, who made us feel like our stay actually mattered. We were celebrating a very special occasion--dinner plans were set, we simply needed a place to spend the night. What we got was an incredible room with a private terrace and a stunning view of South Beach. And as if it couldn't get any better, we were surprised with a complimentary bottle of champagne, which made for the perfect nightcap, and an even better start to the morning alongside our mimosa. If you're staying in South Beach, Dream is more than a name--it's an experience!

That said, the room itself was extremely small. It had all the essentials, but there wasn't much space to move around or unpack, so it felt a bit cramped, especially for a longer stay. If you're planning just a short visit or don't mind compact accommodations, it works, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay smoother despite the limited room size. Overall, I'd say M Citizen is a great choice for its location and vibe, but pack light and don't expect spacious quarters.

The Brickell area is a vibe, walkable and full of restaurants and shops, which makes it a perfect pre- or post-cruise stay. The hotel's proximity to the cruise port was a huge plus. Check-in is self-service, but assistance is available if needed, which made the process easy and convenient. The king bed does take up most of the room, stretching from the window to the wall, so the room feels a bit compact--but it's thoughtfully designed. The sink is located in the main room across from the bathroom, and I actually found the setup pretty functional. The shelves around the sink were stocked with a washcloth, hand towel, hair dryer, and tissues, plus hand soap and lotion at the end of the counter. There was also enough counter space for toiletries. There's an open closet area and a nice touch of wall art, and the laminated wood flooring gave the room a clean, modern feel. One of my favorite features was the in-room iPad that controls everything--such a fun tech-forward touch. I also absolutely loved the decor throughout the hotel. The colors are vibrant, playful, and stylish without feeling overdone. The second-floor seating areas were spacious and inviting, and the rooftop/pool space was another highlight. There's also a bar on the second floor with outdoor seating, which is a great spot to relax and people-watch. Overall, this hotel has a fun atmosphere, smart use of technology, and an unbeatable location. I'd definitely stay here again, especially for a quick stay before a cruise.
