Came on a Friday Night around 8 PM and the restaurant was packed! We were told a 15-20 minute wait and they seated us at the bar since it was raining outside. My friends and I loved the decor of the restaurant. Each wall had a different personality! One side was fully furnished with mirrors, the other had lights with doves on them, another had a shelf with mini sculptures and plants. I ordered a calamari $8 to share and the Chicken Kao Soy noodle soup $15. The calamari came on a shell held by a larger plate. Love the shell concept but it just meant smaller portion of the calamari :( The Chicken Kao Soy was one of the more popular options mentioned by previous yelper's so I chose that. It comes with egg noodles, some fermented veggies, a chicken leg, and some crispy crackers. The chicken leg was extremely tender, the meat came off the bone effortlessly. The broth had a very strong taste of coconut, it was a little overpowering but the taste gets boring. My friends ordered the chicken wings $8, Pad See Ew with chicken $12, and Pad Thai $12. Even though the lovely and quiet atmosphere grasps you as you first walk in, the service and food did not equate. For appetizers, we order the Chicken Satay, Curry puffs, Jade Steamed Dumplings and Tom Yum. The only thing I recommend would be the Tom Yum (packed with flavor and spice); the rest of the apps were not bad but not good. For our main course: The Thai Fried Rice with beef and the Green Market Salad was uninteresting and basic. The Salmon Grig Khing was delicious and tasteful! I had the Pad Thai with Chicken and I was personally not impressed with the taste. The first bite did not grasp my attention and I lost interest. I did like the chicken, it was tender and nice. However, the recipe was not my favorite, and in my option, it was bland, and I have had better Pad Thai from other establishments. The service was attentive but they were not as friendly toward the end of our stay. I would have loved to see more smiles! What I love about Nourish is how their vegan dishes are so good and how it's clear which dishes are vegan. They are also so nice. No hesitation when I asked for soft tofu instead of fried and they were so friendly. Everything is so fresh. Their mushroom larb dish even has Khao Khua on it. So so good. read more

I love their lunch specials here. They offer a large lunch menu with options from fried rice, to curry, to noodles to sauteed dishes. In addition to the entree you can choose from different appetizers, including spring rolls and chive cakes. I had the chive cake and it was delicious. We got the pad see ew and loved it. It is usually my staple at every Thai place and Nourish did it well. They are very kid friendly and have high chairs. The waitresses were super accommodating and came with plastic cups and plates when possible. They do lunch and dinner and are usually not very busy. It is a decent sized place inside so good for groups. They allow you to bring in strollers and even put it next to the table. read more

Really good quality Thai food in Prospect Heights! I ordered takeout so can't comment on the indoor seating situation or the service, however the food was great! We got the Jade Steamed Dumplings, the pad Thai with shrimp, and the pad se-ew with tofu. The dumplings were absolutely unique and delicious, and the tangy soy sauce complemented the dumplings so well. The pad Thai was also super fresh, with generous portion of scallions and peanuts which was great. The added shrimp also tasted very fresh and it was steamed which made the taste even better. What a really good Thai place! I'm so glad my friend and I ran into this place because their food is so good and flavorful. They have an outdoor patio that has three tables and fortunately they weren't too busy for a chilly January so my friend and I sat outside. They have small outdoor heating lights too. The menu is extensive and has tons of interesting Thai dishes besides your typical pad Thai, drunken noodle, and green curry. They have noodle soups which is surprisingly rare to find on a Thai menu along with other dishes. I got the Gal Kamin Somtum, which was half chicken with papaya salad. It was delicious and the portion size was huge. Each piece of chicken was really flavorful and tasted great with the papaya salad, which was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend! My friend got the talay pad pong karee, which is stir fried shrimp, calamari, squid, and salmon, and she loved this dish. It was extremely flavorful and such a hefty portion for the price. It's such a cute restaurant in a buzzing street in Brooklyn. I randomly went in with my friend as I was hungry. We got some calamari, Drunken noodles and sautéed chicken Basil. It was all great. I really enjoyed dining here, especially since Vanderbilt was closed off so sitting in the street didn't mean cars were passing by (although there were some noisy motorcycles, dogs and children, which aren't necessarily avoidable in all dining situations.) We were seated immediately and served water with utensils wrapped in napkins. They were turning over tables quickly so the seat at my table wasn't quite clean but the staff was ready to clean it once I asked. The tables have clear plastic dividers between then, but they are close. It was kind of fun to spy on everyone's food before sitting down and peaking at the tables near us. One of the benefits of the outdoor seating was that we could observe a lot of the food before commiting to eat here. For me, that is even more helpful in the ever-present "what do you want to eat" conversation, when only looking at a menu. My partner and I saw some pad see ew that drew us in and we ordered the same as we saw at another table, with beef, which we were very satisfied with. All of the food came out amazingly fast! The tables were small, but I liked that they left the water on the table and had painted the water bottles and had very floral decorated menus as well. The menu looked quite extensive with everything from soups, salads, noodle dishes, noodle soups, stir frys, apps and I am sure more. Everyone's cocktails looked delicious but it was an early meal for me and I wasn't interested in alcohol. Instead I chose one of their non-alcoholic drinks, the jasmine tea. It was light, refreshing and floral but I imagine there was caffeine in it and it got me a little jittery because I am sensitive to caffeine. We also shared the panang curry which was light, sweet but could have possibly used some more salt. We chose this with chicken and it also had string beans and green peppers. Such a lovely Thai restaurant! I love that in addition to all the popular dishes, they have a page of grandma's specials. We recommend the 8 secret. Yum, black mushrooms! Vegan dishes are clearly marked, and vegetarians can ask about fish sauce etc. They also have several delicious mocktails as well as a full bar menu. Delicious! I've eaten at the restaurant and ordered takeout several times and have always enjoyed the food. The back patio area is really cute. If you're dining in, I would recommend getting a couple specials to split so you can try a few different items. We had the tom klong pla, the ped lard prik, kiew nam, and papaya salad. The drink menu is very creative, too. When I get takeout, the pad thai is my go-to and it never disappoints. My only complaint is that sometimes picking up the order is a bit chaotic -- Nourish does a lot of takeout/delivery orders, so there's a lot of commotion and e-bike traffic, but the staff does their best to keep things organized and moving and they're always friendly even though they're really busy. read more

Quiet, small Thai place that didn't seem to be afflicted by crowds like some other places on Vanderbilt during brunch times. It strikes me as a place that probably does a lot of carry-out/delivery business. Anyways, the food was quite good and definitely filling. I don't think either of us finished our dishes after splitting one appetizer together. The roti was fresh and hot, and the dipping curry was perfect for a cold day. The green curry with vegetables was also amazing. I was at first a little apprehensive at the small rice portion with it, but I ended up not being able to finish it, so afterwards the rice size made more sense. I really appreciated their Thai iced coffee, which was darker and more bitter than a lot of other ones. Sometimes the sweetness can be overwhelming, but this balanced it really well. I'll probably come back, but I imagine if you're ordering delivery there are certain dishes which won't keep as well, so I'd stick to curries and the like if ever was to do so. read more

After searching yelp for some good Thai spots in bk I came across Nourish. My best friend and I were in the mood for Thai so we decided to check it out. Ambiance: Upon walking into nourish at 10pm, I wasn't sure if they were going to accept us because their closing time was 10:30pm. However, they did welcome us with open arms which I appreciated! Also, when we walked in the place was DEAD empty for a Friday night. I was confused. My best friend and I sat down near the window and began to look over the menus. The restaurant had a "bar" area and a leafy green floral seating area. I loved the floor tiles and the wood like walls. Menu: While we were talking and glancing over the menu, the server came over to take our drink orders. And that's when it happened! I was informed that they DO NOT SELL ALCOHOL!!!!! WTH!!! I literally LITERALLY was about to leave, but my friend isn't really a drinker and really didn't care. Anyway, I got over that fact that I wouldn't be able to enjoy a drink with my meal and placed my order. We ordered the calamari, the spring rolls, and my friend and I both ordered fried rice. The calamari was good and I really liked the sauce. The springs rolls were just good and came out so hot that my friend actually burned her mouth while trying to eat it. The rice we both liked. Service: The service is what actually earned you guys the 3 star. Our server was fine at the beginning but towards the end she started to clear plates from people while they were still eating. I saw that they had prepared family meal for the staff in the back and it was clear that she wanted everyone out so she could eat. She gave us our bill while we were still eating, and she took a plate from a woman at the table next to us before the lady was finished (which really pissed her off btw). Not only that, but the guy bringing out our food had rubber gloves on that looked dirty. He kept touching his nose with his gloves on which is really unhygienic. Will I go back. Idk. I take this place as more of a cafe then a restaurant. There was one person there on her laptop drinking something as if she was at Starbucks when we first walked in. Between the two of us the bill came up to $60 something dollars which to me is a bit much for a Thai spot with no alcohol. My Thai ice tea was $3.50, while my friends mock tail was $7.00. The Thai Basil fried rice is so bomb, it is full of flavor and is a great portion size! The Kea Mao is so good, I have had this with veggies and chicken and both options are great. If you are ordering on delivery.com they allow you to choose your spice level and its perfect, that way you can adjust the spice level. Chicken satay is good, not too much flavor. Peanut sauce is really good, and thick. Roti is just layered puff pastry, fine tasting but not roti, it doesn't soak up the curry dipping sauce. Thai wings are really good. Mango salad really good as well, lots of avocado. read more

Chewy and unseasoned coating. 3/5 max. I was not able to eat the curry puffs as they were extremely oily and the curried filling was very sweet. Especially odd since there is meat in the filling. It was served with a sugary syrup that had cucumber and tomato floating in it. I hate wasting food but this was just inedible. Very disappointed and will not recommend based on my experience. read more
