We ordered our wedding cake from them and it was a hit!! It was so good that it got wiped out. We even ordered the bundtinis to go with cake and it still wasn't enough. Highly recommend their cakes and it's so much more affordable than your typical wedding cake. Just spruce it up with some flowers and you're good to go. My only suggestion is that they should have a box for the 2 tiered cakes. Only wrapping it in plastic caused some of the icing to smudge. read more

Throw the whole cake shop away. This is BY FAR the worst Nothing Bundt Cakes site in all of San Diego. I was charged $10 for a delivery fee, but no one was home to accept the cake. No worries, I accepted that I missed the delivery and instead sent the recipient to pick the cake up from the store without complaint. When the recipient arrived the next day: The cake was not ready. I apologize for sounding like a Grinch on Christmas Eve but we decided, based on friends' experiences with the Bundt cake that we would gift our family A couple Bundt cakes from here. We spent over $50 for two Bundt cakes with subpar presentation. We stopped in this location since we are in the neighborhood. Extremely disappointed because right now as I'm writing this review we are sitting in a car with a partly ruined Bundt cake that we have to present as a gift tomorrow since they ran out of boxes and the cellophane wrappers are not very reliable. They're very flimsy and they will collapse on top of the icing as ours had almost immediately. To the staff might I suggest (even if it seems like a long duration) giving yourself an hour to two hour window on holiday crowds like today because not only was our Bundt cakes not ready within our timeframe we were given but there was additional time needed to chill the icing. Which in turn affected the presentation. When you say an hour and we return an hour later, and wait another half hour, it's frustrating. I understand holiday rush, but please be more honest about the time you need and customers wouldn't be frustrated when we set our time schedule to the pickup. On top of being our first time experience at this location and they ran out of the 10 inch boxes, our 10 inch Bundt cake icing pretty much got ruined just leaving the store because the cellophane wrapper collapsed in a few areas and sat on top of itself. Also if you anticipate needing a chill time for the frosting, again, you should let the customer be aware of that. According to the store clerk the frosting should have chilled in the fridge a bit longer before they put the cellophane wrapper on. Even as I waited in the store I watched two other customers being helped on their pick up of their orders and each time the clerk did not double check the receipt call tags and the customer had to remind them that they had additional cakes on their order. Inconsistent level of service and inaccurate once again. Just very disappointed with the execution of the two Bundt cakes that we paid top dollar for. Dissatisfied with the overall product and shopping experience. Not too happy with our hostess gifts. In the future I should be better aware of the timeframe needed to order these in advance. I just have to say, their cakes and frosting are what dreams are made of! Let me start by saying the cakes are wonderful. The different flavors and presentation is quite cute and simple. However, the staff could use a refreshers course in customer service. Customer service shouldn't only be behind the counter but beyond the counter. There are displays outside of the counter and to reach out to customers would be wonderful. One of the most embarrassing situations was that I ordered a cake a few weeks ago and had a Happy Birthday message to be on a small card to be offered however, when the cake was presented, no message was typed out even though it was on the request of the order. When the cake arrived to the birthday person and the message we typed wasn't there made it feel as if we just picked a cake and gave it to the person. When a person goes to the website to order a personalized cake, it's so important to see that the high priced cake is purchased because of the personalized touch to it. If I just want a basic cake, I could easily go to a grocery store. As a suggestion, a small piece of the cake flavor that is purchased should be available to the person who picks up the cake.
