I visited on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait to order. I met a friendly cashier and discussed her recommendations. I decided on the lemon bundtlet. This was perfect for me as a lemon lover. I've been a fan of Nothing Bundt Cakes for a while. I had not been to this location in a minute because the customer service needed an adjustment. So, I decided to try again, and this visit was disappointing as well. After spending over $30 on cakes, I was told I had to pay extra for a fork. Really? For a bakery that prides itself on quality and presentation, it's surprising that basic customer service is lacking. A fork should be a courtesy, not an upsell. It made the whole experience feel cheap and impersonal as I was celebrating someone's birthday and brought them for their first visit with me to make their selection. Needless to say, they were not impressed. I hope they rethink this policy and start valuing their customers a bit more as well, I will NOT be patronizing this location again. read more

Because of the quarantine I had to call the phone number posted in the front of the business to place my order. There is also an option to order online. It took a little while to get through on the phone because only one person was answering the calls and there were two other customers waiting when the business opened. I was told that it would be about a 5 minute wait because the bundlet needed to be iced and there were only three people working. Less than 5 minutes later my strawberries and cream bundlet was brought out to my car. The employee that brought me my cake was very friendly. The packaging was sturdy and the bundlet was a great serving size. It was warm and very moist. I loved the strawberry and cream flavors. I will def be back when all of this is over. read more

Went to go pick up our order that was already paid for which was two boxes and my wife called in to see if they could possibly bring it out side right as she is parked in front of the store because our five month old was napping and she didn't want to have to park and bring him in the store for five seconds just to go ahead and come back out. My daughter received this trio of Confetti cakes for her birthday from her aunt. When I say these are some of the best cakes ever, I am telling the whole truth. I'm not understanding why this location ALWAYS have dry cakes. I had a BOGO and wanted to try the key lime and was sooooo disappointed!. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with the cakes at this location. The cakes also looked funny looking, and I guess I should have waited another time with a better baker but I really wanted to taste the key lime. MISTAKE!! I ended up throwing the cake away and throwing away the other one as well. I think I gave this location too many chances to get it right and now I have decided that I'll purchase my cakes at another location. I love, love, love the cakes at Nothing Bundt but this location can make you dislike the cakes altogether. I have been a fan of the Nothing Bundt Cake locations for a while! The cakes are consistently good and my cake was good here as well. The experience was not the quality I was use too. I asked for a gluten-free chocolate chip and to add extra icing. In the past, they happily do it for a 50 cent charge - fine. The lady checking me out did not even though that was an option. She figured it out. All good at this point. There was one other person in the store but she told me it would be a few minutes. I decided to walk to Dollar Tree and come back. I came back in 10 minutes later and they had still not added the extra icing. I asked for my order and they apologized for forgetting. Once I got in the car I checked the cake. The icing had melted off the sides and there was moisture evident in the container. After going in and having them redo it I was finally satisfied and on my way. Delicious cakes and friendly staff (especially Latoya)! I went in to purchase a cake for a family member who loves chocolate bundt cakes and only chocolate frosting. However, after talking with the employees I realized that they only have cakes with white frosting. They did offer to sell a cake without any frosting but it would be the same price. As a result, I had to purchase a cake elsewhere but I did purchase a strawberries & cream mini bundt cake for myself. I had tried the free samples of the strawberries & cream cake and could not resist purchasing some. Overall, the employees are nice, the cakes are moist and delicious, and the mini bundt cakes are a perfect size. I would just prefer that they offered other frosting options or had a no frosting option that was cheaper than their frosted cakes. Yum, Yum, Yum! I always liked this shop in Winston so I was happy to see they were coming to Raleigh. The pumpkin spice bundt cake is by far my favorite bundt of all. The cake is moist and flavorful and the cream cheese icing is on point. They only have it Fall through December so it is a seasonal flavor. I love how they also always have samples out so you can try out a different bundt on each visit. The employees are always very friendly and the case is clean and bright to help you select your bundt. They also have quite a few cute little gift things if you always needed to pick up something other than a tasty treat while you are there. We received a coupon in the mail offering a Free Mini Bundt Cake. As I am always up for a Free Cake we headed on down and my wife went in and got the mini while I parked the car. The parking lot was very busy. By the time I parked the car and walked to the store my wife already had her mini and offered me a bite. Let me tell you it was delicious. We went to handle some other errands in the shopping center and decided that we had a party that evening and this would be the perfect desert as we were asked to bring "something chocolate" We bought an 8 inch triple chocolate cake and it fed 8 adults easily. I went to take my very sad preschooler for a pick me up treat and they refused to give me a fork for him to eat his personal cake with. They said it was fda regulations to not give out plastic forks! Umm, okay so my kid has to eat the cake with his hands which is unsanitary? That makes no sense and is a flat out lie. I've been to many cupcake places since the pandemic where they give out plastic forks. That is the sanitary way to eat after all! This simply a poorly ran location, I enjoy their products and wouldn't have any issues stopping by any other locations to grab what we're craving, but I've had multiple instances where my orders weren't ready and or my order was incorrect. I've placed two orders online 4 days before I was going to pick it up and I still had to wait about 40 minutes for them to "'make it" because "the order didn't transmit". On top of that they weren't able to add the extra icing I ordered and I had to initiate a refund. It wasn't offered automatically. Had I not asked, they would have just kept that! Products are fine, but the service needs to improve! Coming from someone who works in the service industry, I expect more considering how established they are. Errors occur, I get that, but how you handle correcting the situation makes a huge difference. read more

i am giving them 2 stars because when i walked in "unmasked" an employee immediately told me i needed a mask in order to patronize their business. i then asked her if they had masks for customers who choose to follow the governor's order to lift the mask mandate, but she told me no. so i left. i then walked back to the business to ask a question and saw a customer walk right in and up to the counter "unmasked" to purchase some bundt cakes. not one single employee [to include the owner] told the gentleman that he had to leave or expressed their store's so-called mask policy. i then poked my head back inside the store and pointed to the gentleman and the same employee who immediately expressed to me that i couldn't order without a mask just shrugged her shoulders as if she didn't understand my frustration. then i asked to speak to the owner and expressed to her that i understand the policy but could i order and just have her bring it to me. she obliged and said that i had to stand outside. i politely obliged. the only reason i still ordered some bundt cakes is because i promised my children some. my family and friends have supported this busness since it opened. but now i'm conflicted... the policy should apply to everyone. and yes, i will note that i am an african-american male (former police officer and retired us marine) and the gentleman who they allowed in the store was a caucasian male(who was a car salesman) .... i know this because i'm that observant. attached is a pic pf the gentleman who they let patronize them wothout a mask read more

I've seen this place at various locations driving by and praise the Lord I was at work today when they gave us a sample box of mini chocolate turtle bundt cakes!! First of all, that is just so sweet to do and second EVERYONE loved them!! I'm not a frosting person at all and that was some of the best frosting I've ever had (not that cheap, artificial kind but that rich cream cheese kind) and the combination of caramel at the top and nuts throughout was AMAZING!! I have to say this probably my favorite cake place in the area. They have the BEST cream cheese icing that I've had. I got a cake for my cousins birthday the day of her birthday. I called in to ask if it was possible to pick one up that day, and they told me yes and that I could come in. I got a large size cake with a now and happy birthday banner, and it was confetti flavor. I had got a Bundt cake for my birthday last year and it was amazing, so I knew my cousin would love it. The worker was really nice and had the cake ready within fifteen minutes or so, and I liked that they had samples to try of the white chocolate raspberry, which I really liked. The cake was a great size for the price and even after around 12 people all had a slice, there was plenty of cake leftover. I'm sure I'll be back and hopefully will get one for my birthday again. read more
