The hubs searched macarons on Yelp and we had our heading. First-time visitors and we stopped in for a cupcake & macaron raid. Cute shop with a nice, adjoining seating area. Sugar Euphoria was a great find and the service was friendly. The cupcakes are delish (red velvet was our fave) and the macarons were good also! I liked the elderflower lemon flavor best as it was perfect. I did notice that there were variations in texture on the different macarons we ordered -- some were perfect with the crispy eggshell crunch and slightly chewy inside that we love in a macaron , others were a bit denser. While the search continues for my favorite macaron spot in Raleigh, we'd return for cupcakes and to try other sweets on the menu. Cheers!

I really enjoyed everything I ate here. The buttercream was on point and everything was very uniformly decorated and clean. I would love to come back and try more items. The banana pudding matcha was lovely. Not as strong on the banana flavor as I thought it would be, but the matcha wasn't overpoweringly earthy either, so it was a nice balance. I know the times we're in so I wouldn't hold it against their rating, but it stings paying $5 for a cupcake. I did appreciate that their gluten free cupcakes were $5.25. Most places make them so much more expensive just because they can. I will be coming back and I would definitely recommend that matcha!

The desserts are amazing. Randi makes the best Twix and strawberry shortcake cookies. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Nice selection of desserts while waiting on my drink.

Stopped by for a muffin and an Americana. Great service and awesome selection. Thinking about ordering a birthday cake on my next visit. Thanks again

Not sure why I am the first reviewer for Sugar Euphoria on Yelp, but I can tell you that THEY HAVE THE BEST MACARONS in NC, and they have weekly seasonal flavors! Randi also made our wedding cake, and we were so blown away by her creativity. She offers out-of-the-box, not cookie-cutter wedding cake flavors. I am so glad that she has a brick and mortar so I can stop in whenever I have macaron cravings. The store has cute decor that adds to the overall delightful experience, but do note that there is no seating available. Sugar Euphoria is an absolute gem in Raleigh! Their macarons and cupcakes are hands-down the best in NC, and the weekly seasonal flavors keep things exciting! Randi's creativity truly shines, especially when she crafted our mind-blowing wedding cake with unique flavors that surpassed all expectations. Having a brick and mortar store is a delight because now I can indulge my macaron cravings anytime! Highly recommended for all dessert enthusiasts!

The best bakery treats in Raleigh. I love the cream puffs (not pictured) and the macarons are the best I've had in NC. This place is a hidden gem. Flavors change seasonally, so you can keep trying new items every visit.

A Truly Artisanal Bakery…read more I rarely leave reviews on yelp anymore, but this bakery is so impressive, it inspired me to type this down. I'm from the Bay Area and loved going to all kinds of bakery when I travel. I did not have much expectations when I came to Raleigh. I tried Paul and Jack and couple other bakeries, they were all good, but not impressive. The first thing I noticed was their Mill Room, and second I noticed that they have 100 score on hygiene. Not that I care about the score that much but still impressive. Then We got a bunch of pastries, the shortbread was the first one we tried and wow, it was so simple yet so flavorful, truly malted tasting shortbread, it has so much depth in taste. Then I had a had a ham and cheese croissant, it was on the salty side but I kept eating it when I'm not even hungry. The true winner though, is the plain croissant I got which traveled with me for 72 hours back home. I got it out of my bag, slightly flattened by all my stuff, I expect it to taste flat and meh. I put it in the oven for 6 minutes and it turned out to be the best croissant I've had. It was flaky, soft and soo flavorful. Now I cannot stop thinking about it. Lastly, I want to say that with so many pop ups, new bakeries coming up in different cities, often times we were chasing that unique flavors, that special toppings on croissants, but Boulted Bread stayed true to bread, and perfected the craft without focusing on "exotic" or "special" flavors. I truly respect this.

A bialy (bee-AH-lee) is a traditional Polish-Jewish bread roll, similar to a bagel but with key differences: it is baked, not boiled, has a dimpled center filled with onion bits and poppy seeds, and is generally softer and less dense. Originating in Białystok, Poland, these rolls are traditionally served plain or toasted with toppings like butter or schmear. 2. Rye shortbread. Not too sweet. Just perfection! 3. Bran biscotti. I like the idea of a high-fiber bran biscotti over a refined flour one. 4. Buchi Tepache. I got the mango-pineapple flavor. This is a local NC brand. It's a mildly fermented drink that originated in Mexico. I got the ingredients from their website (drinkbuchi.com): Organic Tibicos (Water, Organic Fair Trade Certified™* Cane Sugar, Organic Kefir Culture), Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Mango Puree, Organic Pineapple Juice Concentrate, Organic Whole Lemon Puree, Organic Mango Natural Flavor, Organic Pineapple Natural Flavor, Organic Monk Fruit Extract. 5. The baguette. Unlike a refined flour white bread baguette at La Farm Bakery, this one is made of a red wheat flour. Turkey Red flour is an heirloom, organic hard red winter wheat brought to Kansas in 1873 by Mennonite immigrants. Prized for its rich, nutty flavor and superior baking qualities, it is often used for artisan bread, sourdough, and pasta due to its unique, sometimes more digestible, gluten profile. It is commonly stone-ground and available from local Kansas millers. 6. The star of the show was the Everything Croissant. Like the Everything Bagel but soft and buttery. Topped with all the sesame seeds and seasonings with a cream cheese interior. So good! I do plan on returning!

The chocolate brownie is thick and rich, but not too sweet, and the marshmallow cream is divine, especially with the ice cream. A lot of their drinks and gin based, which I'm not the biggest fan of, but I always find something I can enjoy. The service is great and relatively quick, and everyone I've met there is kind and willing to help. The inside is a bit small, so smaller crowds are better and it does tend to get crowded later in the evening and on weekends. The outside street sitting area is nice too and hopefully will be fully fixed soon. Overall a great places to stop for drinks and desserts after a nice meal! The desserts were great, the drinks were even better, but Brandon was easily the highlight of our experience. He was kind, helpful, sharp, and clearly knew exactly what he was talking about. Five stars all around. We'll definitely be back.
