The cakes are delicious but I was more than a little disappointed with the customer service. I don't think my bundtinis were packed right because when I got home they looked like a big mess. The inner lining was pushed down and so the top heavy bundtinis moved around during transport. I contacted customer service and their attitude was that if it was okay when I left, I was out of luck. I was reminded by my subconscious that I was in Phoenix and knew there was locations here, so I asked Siri where was the nearest location while I was driving on the I-10 eastbound near Tempe. I ended up here at this location at about 5:00pm and was glad that they were still open. Being that I was a newcomer to the area, I had a little problem finding the actual store, but eventually drove around the strip mall parking lot and found it after 7 minutes. I did like the colorful signage that marked the entrance to the store. The store was a quintessential bakery. Not too big or small. Just right. I must have spent about 10 minutes maximum here before making my purchase and departing. My friend from Texas wasn't wrong. These Bundt Cakes are super rich and moist. Wish I can make it like this at home, but I can't. So so good! The overall experience here at Nothing Bundt Cakes here in Phoenix Arizona was nothing short was great. The service was alright and the Cakes were obviously the stars of the show! Nothing Bundt Cakes are the quintessential necessity to one's daily living - or at least once a month just to indulge. I live in HI, so we don't have this there, so it was definitely a treat coming here and getting 2 of my favorite flavors and indulging to my heart's content. The Bundt Cakes themselves are as deserving as your Saturday night wine and your weekly cheat day item of choice. Love this place. Always get the Bundtinis. They have a frequent punch card. Great idea... even though I didn't know about it until after a few dozen already purchased. Was in today to buy another dozen.. but like to look around first. Cards and gifts. Owner was there and it always up beat and fun. Other lady just asking people " you ready?" Uh.... not really. She was asking people that just walked in the door. Finally I decided that I was ready to get my Bundtinis. She got them .. told me the price... I gave her my card.... stamped it. Never said.... MAN are these cakes good! Great alternative for a pretty bday or special occasion cake, without the crazy high price. Ordering process was awesome. I was able to call the week of and got a 2-tiered 8" and 10" cake, 10" cake, and individual bundtlet that served as my 1-year old daughter's smash cake. This served about 45+ people! It was also nice to order these smaller cakes too so that we could try different flavors. We tried the chocolate chocolate chip, lemon, red velvet, and white chocolate raspberry. They were all sooo delicious! My personal favorite was the white chocolate raspberry. I didn't get a chance to visit the shop as someone else picked up the cakes but I definitely want to take a trip out to see it and to try some other flavors. On a recent evening, we had dinner at Milagro and went here to get me some dessert. On the exact minute they were closed, we were at the door. I almost had a heart attack that I was here and couldn't get my fix. The employees didn't hesitate to let us in which was so cool. My husband picked up a red velvet cake ($19 serves 8-10 ppl) and it was hit. The red velvet is my favorite with the cream cheese frosting and chocolate chips in the batter. As cake goes, yes, these people know how to make cakes and we keep going back, which is probably going to put me in the hospital. I don't know the story of the founder, owner or people doing the work back there--the bakers. But the product is solid. Felt like creamed butter--or at least lots and lots of butter. The right amount of sugar. You choose different cake recipes, but the frosting is the same (and good). I won't bother going to other cake places. Everything here fits the bill. Solid bundt cakes. What I love most is the simplicity of their cakes. Nothing over top and crazy like you see at other bakeries. The red velvet is absolutely divine, but I'm also a fan of their carrot cake as well. If you're not into cakes, they also have "bundtinis", which are smaller versions of their cakes (cupcakes) and they are SUPER cute! Double check your order!! Picked three bundlets up for a birthday, the one actually for the birthday woman (pumpkin) was actually lemon. The bag was sealed so I didn't think to double check, and as I went to light the candles I realized the order was screwed up. I've used this NBC's location for years but was sadly disappointed in my experience today with the lack of customer service. I pulled up to a sign that said "pick up" and when I called the number to order my cakes the worker said I had to come inside if I wanted to use my coupon. On a typical day I would have walked inside but with the pandemic and closures I would have hoped this accommodation would have been in place to support the safety and well being of both the customers and the employees. For those of you who may be particular about certain words, I caution you now because it is one of the best words to describe these cakes.... The bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes are particularly (wait for it)..... moist. I wasn't familiar until about a year ago and man oh man, they have since become a fave. The first time I purchased a larger bundt cake for our department celebration and ever lick, every bite was gone. Even those claiming to be on a diet or who didn't like sweets couldn't help but to indulge in this delectable dessert. The time after that I grabbed a dozen of their bundtinis and they're but as good as the full size thing only, they're bite size. I could have eaten at least 6 of them if I didn't have to share. This time we decided to order a bundtlette for each employee in their preference of flavor. The order consisted of 18 bundtlettes. They are fairly priced at less than $5 per bundlers. I was able to order 4 of one type, 4 of another, 3 of another and a few single selections. The staff member saw the order and wanted to ensure I wasn't celebrating something particular in case I wanted to have the cakes decorated. I thought it was very nice of her to take the time to follow up. Another part of this order was I had been waiting on others to submit their flavor request and didn't get the order in until about 24 hours ahead of time. I was a bit concerned that because I wasn't able to submit the online order longer than 24 hrs ahead that the earliest available was going to cause for alarm. My meeting was scheduled for 11:30 am, and the earliest pick up time was the 11:30-11:45 time block. Well, I decided to go for a stretch and called around 10:10 am and low and behold, they were ready! I was uber excited and headed right over. They had packed them into a fancy bag for easier carrying and just made my morning. The icing is delicious, you can request extra icing because well, because it's just that good. I love this place! Ordered a Bundlet tower and paid for delivery for them to not deliver to my hotel. I requested them to leave with Concierge and they did not. Worst customer service. I attempted to call numerous times to have them drop off at the hotel front desk and nobody answered or returned my calls. Later on I received an email stating they tried to deliver which was a lie. I found a hair in my Birthday cake after me and my family ate half of it. I called the store and the manager was out and then employee I spoke to said to email the manager and send a pic of the hair. The manager didn't respond so I called back the next day and the manager said, NEXT time I need a picture with the hair and the cake together. I was like NEXT time? Is this a normal thing that happens with your cakes? She said it happens and repeatedly said NEXT time I need a picture of the hair with the cake. She offered me a credit to get another cake and also stated she was too busy to respond to my email because it was Easter weekend and she would get to it Monday.
