The bottom of the muffins had a very bitter taste and a mouldy/stale feel, and when I broke them open I could see dark spots/discoloration inside. Like a half baked one The first time this happened, I informed the staff immediately. They told me they would look into it and issue a refund but I never received the refund. When I called again today after experiencing the issue a second time, instead of taking the concern seriously, I was told that my palate may be the problem and that their muffins are good. That response was especially disappointing considering this has now happened twice. I am not claiming here to know exactly what caused the discoloration, but the bitter taste, unusual texture, and visible dark spots were concerning enough that I stopped eating the muffin. I hope management takes this seriously, reviews their storage, freshness checks, and food-safety practices, and also improves how customer concerns are handled. Dismissing a repeated food-quality complaint rather than properly investigating it is not the kind of response I expected.
