I'm a longtime fan of NBC. It was more than a decade ago that I tried them, and I've purchased their cakes for birthdays and gatherings ever since. And I probably squealed with excitement when I saw the new location popup on the East End this year. Lemon is my absolute favorite, followed by white chocolate raspberry. I'm also pleased to see they now offer a few gluten-free flavors: chocolate chip and lemon raspberry. This weekend, I purchased a 10-inch lemon cake for Father's Day (family loved it, natch), and bought a gf lemon raspberry "bundtini". The GF cake was good, but it honestly doesn't compare to their classic batter, understandably. You can call ahead and order cakes in advance, which is recommended if have your heart set on a specific flavor. Staff was friendly, too.

Every location you go to is nice clean bright and nicely decorated, makes you want to buy everything in the store. Bundt cakes make for a very good gift. I ordered the new banana bundt cake. It was full of banana flavor with a vanilla wafer cookie on top. It was so sweet and yummy. They also have a new s'mores bundt cake, I'll have to return to try that one. Plenty of parking outside, perfectly located on navigation in EaDo. Staff are always friendly. Located next to Teapresso and Roostar, makes for a great dessert after lunch and Boba.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is Nothing Bundt Delicious! And the decor of their store as enchanting as the the taste of their cakes. Big or small your tastebuds are wrapped in heaven. This place does not lack when in comes to its flavor options, from a tart lemon to a smooth red velvet, you cannot go wrong with your choice. I've never had the opportunity to visit their brick and mortar nor eat one of their cakes so I knew I was in for a treat. You can pre-order a cake or stop by and pick one up! I stopped in and was welcomed with a smile and a warm hello, the NBC team was friendly and ready to assist. I selected Lemon, Strawberries & Creme, and White Chocolate Rasberry mini cakes, at almost $6 each it's the perfect serving size. My favorite was the Lemon, followed by the White Chocolate Rasberry, and finally the Strawberries & Creme. Each cake was moist, light and so good. I loved the rich, tangy smoothness of the cream cheese icing. Perfection! NBC is a perfect spot when you want to sweeten up that special occasion whether it's with a few people and you're buying their larger bundt cakes, or you just want a little something for yourself. Either way, it will be love after first bite! Mmmm. Give them a try and see for yourself. You're welcome. Enjoy!

Me and my friends.

The newest location in Humble is the spot... the banana pudding cake was amazing. Also, the Dubai chocolate was good.

The little pipettes are such a unique touch, enabling you to add the amount of liquor you desire. My husband, who is SO hard to please btw, absolutely loved the cupcakes! From the presentation (yes, I am talking about the box they came in), to the amazing confection aesthetics, to the quality of the liquor, to the moist texture of the cupcake itself and not mention a super creamy and yummy frosting; these cupcakes are like nothing I've tasted before. The owners are amazing, super professional and very knowledgeable; they are very thorough with their cupcakes descriptions, ensuring you make the selection that matches your taste buds best! Considering the fact that I don't drink at all, nor even like taste of many drinks (believe me, I tried many!); they type of alcohol they use feels refreshing, soothing and a perfect mix to each cupcake. So far, the Boozy Bellini is my fave, but the strawberry cream is a close second! Highly HIGHLY recommend to try them; indulge yourself and enjoy!!!

You can buy all the cakes by the slice or preorder a full cake. Just from the smell walking in I could tell I was gonna love this place. They have upbeat music playing and the lady was so nice. She answered questions and made suggestions. The price was not bad either. I got 4 cookies and 1 cupcake and my total was $31. These aren't little cookies either. They are big and you get them warm! She didn't have to warm them up she just handed them to us warm! They were the perfect amount of crunchy on the edge and gooey on the inside. All of them were amazing! There were lots of options to try from. I went for the s'mores brownie. They warmed it up for me and it was just ok. Then it was time to try the Oreo cheesecake. Also, underwhelming. The cheesecake was bland, no real flavor to it. With so many options in houston, I'd try another place.

Crumbville is such a unique bakery and record shop with a beautiful atmosphere and positive vibe…read more It has an old school Third Ward feel, but also reflects a contemporary mindset. I read somewhere that the bakery is set to close soon and wanted to share a few thoughts regarding how important this bakery is, not only to my original childhood neighborhood, but the city itself. What I love: how the building looks on the outside and inside; the owner is very kind, friendly and eager to converse with visitors; and the idea that you can purchase an album by The Jungle Brothers, David Axelrod, Andre 3000, De La Soul or D'Angelo along with sweet treats from the bakery is just so cool. As a cratedigger who loves buying records, this is just so impressive to me. The great artwork hanging on the walls is another plus. A family member bought a delicious strawberry cake for my birthday a few years back, and that was my first introduction to Crumbville. The owner's decision to offer vegan and gluten free desserts was a smart decision, but she also offers regular baked goods. During my first visit recently, I purchased a strawberry cupcake, which had a lime-flavored cookie base. It was sublime and reminded me so much of the birthday cake from years ago. Service was great here. Overall, I just love this place. It makes me smile, and I will be very sad to see it go.

I put an order in with the owner 3 days prior for a VEGAN LEMON CAKE. She said yes (failed to say it was a lemon ginger snap cake) and it was doable. I explained that my friends are now vegan and that I had been scouring the city. She was so friendly and charming and I really wanted to love her and the output of her services/goods. But I don't. In fact, I'm severely disappointed. I told her I had a lunch at noon and needed the cake by 11:15 bc I have a lunch at noon on the other side of town(their website says they open at 11). She asked me to come closer to 11:30 which I came at exactly 11:30 and the cake wasn't even there! Her son was there and he was sooo incredibly nice! Gave me some vegan samples and I ended up getting the vegan chocolate chip cookies and the vegan Netflix & chill. It was alright but the chocolate chip was where it's at. They each were $5.50.
