Amy is so sweet and so easy to work with. She literally goes above and beyond. I called in today to get some help delivering a cake to my brother and sister-in-law, to congratulate them on their home closing. She not only made it happen, but knew exactly what I was looking for and took a personal detour just to make sure the cake got delivered on her way home. That said, their cakes are also amazing! I'm pretty picky when it comes to cake. If it's good cake, I'm a big fan, but if it's not, I likely won't eat it. Every time we've had their cake, it's always been a favorite. I had not been in since before the pandemic but every time we went by, I thought it was about time to try it again. Things have been updated a bit, they now have all the flavors of the Bundlet (our favorite size) all the time. I think they used to select a few flavors and bake only those each day. So now, maybe they bake more and keep them frozen to defrost, put on icing and and then sell?.. I have no idea, I am just guessing. Our order was retrieved from the back and was cold, not sold much warmer right from the case. Maybe just a freshness technique for reserved orders. It did taste fresh though and we enjoyed the carrot cake flavor which had been a favorite in the past. It was nice to see that they do hire more broadly than in the past, younger staff as well as a skilled special needs community member. All in all, a good experience and we will be puchasing some more desserts in the future. The owner, Amy, works claoelwith the group, Cultivate, a non profit that helps provide groceries and others services for seniors in the Boulder area. Amy was so friendly and sweet. Worst Nothing Bundt Cake location I have ever been to. I have been getting the free bundlet cake every year for my birthday since I was a kid. It's my birthday today and I went to this location to get my free bundlet. The employee who I talked to was so rude. She said I could only get it if I had an email which is something I have never been asked for before. I am so disappointed with the horrible customer service. The employee couldn't even be bothered to say happy birthday at the very least. I definitely do not recommend coming into this location for your birthday because they don't care at all. Upon entry my daughter and I were greeted by Amy, the owner--what a lovely, kind, caring compassionate human being! The shop, like the cakes look very cute, and I could see how my daughter would love one (topped with a giant bright colored flower for example) for her birthday. I had the red velvet and the chocolate chocolate chip (the second one their best seller, I was told when I visited the place) bundtlets. Both where big enough to share, and very moist. The lady behind the counter was friendly and stressed the fact that if they don't have the size or flavor you want, they'll make you one in 15/20 minutes. Wow! My problem is that these cakes are more of less made from a mix, and quite expensive in that case (especially if you buy a bigger one). I can see going to Nothing Bundt Cake for a special occasion, like a birthday party or baby shower, but I don't think I can justify making a special trip to buy a cake mostly made from a mix. I am fortunate enough to have experienced their chains in Texas, so driving in Boulder and seeing the sign made my heart leap for joy. The next time I was near there and they were open, I convinced hubby to go with. We got the lemon bundtlet (mini bundts, maybe enough for two people each) and the chocolate chocolate chip. Are lemon immediately. I love their cream cheese icing. Delicious. Also had a sampler of their white chocolate raspberry, but the white chocolate over sweetens it in my opinion. I was out of state AND it was 6:15 p.m- WHAT could I do? Amy and Joe SAVED the day. FIRST they answered the phone AND it was after hours!! So, I'm not exactly a closet fan of Nothing Bundt Cakes. I've raved about it. I got a coupon in the mail for a free bundt and ever since then I've been a near addict. So when my love and I got married and were in need of dessert, the only thing that came to mind was our favorite bundtlet cake shop! I can't speak to the "healthiness" of the cakes, because come on, it's CAKE. No matter what flavor you're craving, you will be satisfied and happy. The cakes are moist and well made. Their frosting (which I think is a cream cheese frosting) is sweet, but not over the top and so delicious I could eat it with a spoon. My favorite flavors, you ask? Chocolate chocolate chip and white raspberry. You bet your bottoms those were the flavors we ordered. Their assistance in ordering the cakes was great too. I used my coupon for the free vanilla raspberry buntlett and ordered an 8" praline with instructions to take it out of the fridge the next night 2 hours before serving. I've had the chocolate chocolate chip, the red velvet & a white chocolate lemon...or something close to that but the lemon was perfect not overwhelming at all. One was in a large size & a couple in the bundlet size. All were unbelievably moist and even though I would first think there wasn't enough icing there usually was and even if there's not enough the cake without a doubt stands on its own.
