I stuck with my gut and got the spicy vodka rigatoni (includes ground pork in the sauce) and fried chicken cutlet on the side with a drink and chips, the chips were free since it was between their lunch special time (12-2pm). The worker that helped me was very informative and answered every single question I had. I waited no more than 5-10 minutes for my food, it was piping hot and FRESH... everything was perfectly made. I really couldn't stop eating it. The fried cutlet was cooked just right and the pasta was an al dente texture to be appreciated. I've also never had a Spellegrino before, it definitely complimented my meal. My only complaint is that I wish it had a sauce... like something to top it with. The sour cream was great, but I wanted like a green or red sauce or something to give it a bit more punch. It was a little dry, but perfectly cooked... a strange combo lol. The coffee, however, made us both chuckle when it came to the table. The glasses were entirely hard to use and not something that I would recommend for table service. It was a struggle and we would've just preferred a simple mug. I recently visited Norwinds and had the pleasure of trying their unique take on Puerto Rican bar food. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was truly inviting since they were bumping salsa music. The service was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The food was the real star of the show, with each dish bursting with flavor. The traditional Puerto Rican flavors were perfectly balanced, and the bar food was elevated to a whole new level. Standouts for me included the Mofongo and the Sliders. To die for, ouf. The drinks menu was also impressive, I highly recommend the Henny Sangria. That thing had me litttttttt. Overall, Norwinds exceeded my expectations with their creative take on Puerto Rican bar food.
