Had been researching safes online for quite some time, and figured I'd stop by NWSafe in Enumclaw to browse their selection. In hindsight, I should have just gone straight there, and not bothered with the online research. At NWSafe, we were met by Kael - extremely personable, and extremely knowledgeable. Kael took the time to understand our needs, and explained the pros/cons of each type of safe at each price point. At no time did we feel pressured to buy ... or overbuy ... and we ultimately settled on a safe that offered the best protection, in the size that met our requirements, at a price we were willing to pay. Fast forward a couple of weeks, to the day of delivery and installation. True to their word, the delivery crew - Gary and Kalen - called ~30mins before delivery, arrived on time, and performed a site survey before starting. They also provided recommendations regarding safe placement, and were more than willing to place the safe precisely where I wanted it. Gary and Kalen took the time to protect all floors, walls, stairs, etc - laying carpets, boards, cushioning. Although they clearly had other deliveries - they took the time to "do it right". On top of that, Gary ensured I understood the operation of the safe, guided me through the setup of Safelert, setting my own access code, and all the features of the safe. Sure, you might be able to find a safe cheaper at some of the "big box" stores, but they're just going to deliver to your garage. Pay the extra money and have a set of consummate professionals deliver and install your safe. NW Safe has a large showroom and is a great place to browse safes. Multiple people at West Coast Armory referred me to NW Safe Co. The website is nice, but you need to visit the showroom to see more promos and haggle. I was interested in a specific Liberty Safe that "is probably not going to be on sale Black Friday, and this promo will be gone soon" later near Thanksgiving "will be on sale Black Friday, but this great super sale promo going on now won't be here for long." There was definitely a tone of "car dealership salesman." I ended up not purchasing from NW Safe, but do recommend visiting their store and negotiating a good deal. Local vault/safe alternatives I have shopped include: Bellevue Security Safe & Lock Cabellas Costco Fife Sportco Seattle Outdoor Emporium Tukwila Tracker Safe As of early 2018, NW Safe has the best showroom with the most selection. Last weekend I drove from Seattle to Enumclaw ( about an hour drive) only to arrive a minutes before closing. The door was locked. I was about to turn around when Kael Johnston, a sales manager unlocked the door. Kael took his time and showed me around. He knows his safes! I drove 33 miles to go to NW Safe, passing many other retailers along the way, because I've heard such great things and they didn't let me down. The store is huge and very nice inside and Buster spent quite a bit of time walking me around the store showing me all of the different options and features available and his information helped me decide on a Liberty and I couldn't be happier with it. It was delivered today by Gary and Jon and I was amazed at how easy they made moving a nearly 1000lb object look! The got it installed, walked me through how to program the lock and get the warranty registered and answered any question I could think of. I was shopping for a bigger fire/gun safe. I went to a few places locally, non was as helpful as Northwest Safe. I visited Northwest Safe on Black Friday. They were busy but the store was fully staffed. I got my questions answered. Due to their Black Friday sales, I was able to afford a bigger Liberty safe than I intended to purchase. The shopping experience was great. I did have some communication issues with the delivery time and date after my purchase, but Riley at NW Safe stepped up and took care of the situation. Gary and Danny did a great job delivering and installing the safe. They were friendly, professional and informative. Overall, I was impressed by how customer driven this company is. The team at the store was so amazing. We knew we wanted a safe for not only our guns but important documents and jewelry but thought we wouldn't be able to afford one that was big enough for to fit everything. We were wrong!! We got a huge safe and a fireproof filing cabinet plus in home delivery and installation for the price we thought we'd get only a safe for! This place has a large showroom so you can compare different models. Karen was very helpful in our making a decision on our purchase. We had our safe delivered into our garage and bolted to the floor. From the time the truck started down our 150 foot driveway until they were driving out only 20 minutes. Very professional and nice delivery persons (2 guys). They placed the safe exactly where we wanted it, checked for level, bolted it down and explained how the lock worked and how to change the combination. I made my order online with Liberty directly, but it ends up just redirecting you to your local distributor, which for me is NW Safe. The NW Safe employee I spoke with messed up my order, and upon delivery, I declined the safe since it wasnt what i ordered. The second delivery they got right, although 2 months late. They made up for it by giving my safe 2 upgrades for free. The price for curbside delivery is quite cheap. The price for install is quite pricey, especially if you have 5 or more stairs to go up. read more

My review is for the repair service offered by North West Safe Services not the store as I have never been there. I own an American Security BF safe Which suffered a mechanism failure leaving the safe locked and impossible to open. I called several locksmith businesses that offered safe services but the only one that actually had their safe technician call me was NW Safe. Jeff S. Called me and scheduled me for an appointment three days later. Communication was really good both by email and telephone and on the day of the appointment Jeff contacted me by phone to give me an actual arrival time. My safe was repaired with no damage to the front as Jeff found an alternate way to drill in that didn't require drilling in a visible area. I am extremely pleased with the timeliness, quality and professionalism of the service provided by Jeff. What a great experience! I just needed a smaller safe and worked with Buster - a retired cop -to find the right one. No up sell pressure. As a matter of fact, he walked around the entire store with me, telling me stories about some of the antiques - the huge vault doors and other cool stuff I didn't know. OK, now onto the delivery. Two guys showed up - Danny, who was new, and I've forgotten the other guy's name. TOTAL PROS. Because is was a smaller safe I was thinking I could do it, however, I spent the $100 for the set up and it would have been a bargain at twice the price.
