Had the 3 cubic yards of sand delivered on Monday (very quick turnaround time on delivery) and it went without a hitch. The driver was great. Respectful of the property. We have used several soil products from Specialty Soil. Three years ago our soil was dead! No…read moreworms, just an acre of gray, sandy and rocky despair. Every plant died or was suffering a slow death. Specialty soil came our home and did a soil analysis. The results showed our soil was 76% sand with almost no organic matter. That explained why we didn't have any worms... no organic matter for the worms to eat. We also had a serious mineral imbalance. Early spring Specialty Soils mixed up a custom mix of compost to address our very crappy soil. By the end of summer... we had worms and our newly planted plants were thriving!!! Every spring we add a beautiful layer of specially mixed organic mulch and in the fall we add a layer of well cooked manure. This has been a very successful process for us. Our soil is faithfully amazing! You can have complete faith and trust in the products created at Specialty Soil. It seems foolish waste money experimenting on your own trying to figure out why your soil fertility is off. Then go to the office, tell them what you want and they will give you a ticket. You can also give the ticket to an outside employee. Move the truck to the designated location according to the employee's instructions. An employee brought the ordered gravel with a tractor and put it in my truck. There, I get a form with the weight written on it, and I take it to the office and pay it. There isn't much service every time, but I come here because my favorite gravel is here. I still need this, so please don't run out of stock.

Service was great - one of their employees hand bagged 4 more bags for me. I'll be back (this week I think)! Only downside is that they're not open on the weekends.
