Grand Opening! New location! Lots of plants and cool stuff! SEEDS! Live plants! Soil! Supplies! We even found a variegated string of hearts succulent! Woot! Staff are attentive and eager to help and answer questions. Highly recommend stopping in.

First time at the auxiliary Watson's, and it did not disappoint. Although smaller than their main greenhouses in Puyallup, the choices were VAST, and Denise and the entire kind and knowledgeable staff were super helpful when making selections. Although the cashier was quite lazy*, I still managed to spend plenty and enjoyed every minute of it. Love both Watson's greenhouses and the stellar crews! *Alexander, resident therapy kitty

Fun to shop and beautiful healthy plants a little pricey but in the long run the plants survive (even my brown thumb)

It's smaller than the location in Puyallup yet still charming and chock full of garden and gift ideas.

Rhododendron is not only hard to say but also hard to spell. Lol. So please forgive my spelling…read moreerrors. But this park, plants and flowers are beautiful. We only had 45-mins left in our time in this area as we had a family thing to go to. So we went through this park rather quickly. But even so, I have a lots and lots of pictures. Flowers in different shades of reds, oranges, pinks, purples, yellows and white against the green lush trees, leaves and ground covering. Well marked gravel paths, plenty of seating, a large open grassy area of family picnics and space for children to run around. Our time here was well spent. And you, I had to stop back in to the gift shop and pick up a magnet. We didn't see many staff members including the groundskeepers but the cashier at the gift shop was friendly and helpful. Free parking and entry fee into this botanical park is a reasonable $12 per adult, no military discount, there is senior and children discounts available. Highly recommend if you're in the Federal Way area.

Anyway, I didn't know this garden was located in the empty Weyerhaeuser building area. You should know that the garden is divided into two sections: the bonsai section is 100% donation. The other side, which contains all the Rhododendron plants, requires admission fees. I visited the garden expecting it to fully bloom in different color schemes like the Botanical Garden at the UW area, but everything was in green color. My husband mentioned that we'd need to revisit this garden but in the spring time, when the flowers would fully bloom then. Check out my photos for the garden view. I enjoyed the Bonsai section because we got to see the carpentry art from a dude, who basically built everything from wood sticks. The exhibit was cool to look at, in addition to the Bonsai tree collection displays. Now, I want a Bonsai tree myself!

This is a very seasonal place: know that before you go. They will have abundant supply of whatever…read moreis in season that week and the price is very reasonable. But: go there again the following week and everything may be different. Grab what's good when you can catch it. Their produce section which is constantly changing is generally very good. Their garden supplies such as planting soil etc are always goof and reasonably priced. What they're not: They are not like a nursery such as East Hill Nursery, where people who are garden and botanical specialists can help you find what's best for your situation and explain best options for you. They're rather a clearinghouse for commonly popular flowers, plants & supplies. But they do that well. Their structure and employees are great and the lines move quickly.

Even though it was a weekday morning and there were still a few parking spots available, the place was already busy with customers. The greenhouse was filled with beautiful hanging flower baskets everywhere, creating such a colorful and cheerful atmosphere. Most of the baskets were priced around $35-$45, and of course I ended up finding one I absolutely loved and bought it. I also picked up some locally harvested honey while I was there. Before leaving, I made sure not to forget the organic seeds I originally came for: zucchini mix, mixed salad greens, sprout mix, and herb mix. This is always one of my favorite places for gardening inspiration, seasonal flowers, and local products.
