I just purchased my 3rd spa from Aqua Quip in June. The same one a Cameo. First one in 1999, then finally had to let go of it in 2020 replacing with another Cameo, the others just do not compare and believe me I tried them all. I have just relocated to Auburn from Woodinville and did not want to pull apart my deck again to move the spa so I just got another one as I know what works for me and as they say "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Yep bought another Cameo. I just did my first water test after getting it balanced. And the manager Derek did the test. I got to talking to him and he has to be one of the most knowledgeable hottub people out there. He walks the talk! Plus he also has a Cameo ;-) I have to say I was impressed back in 1999 with Dave G. who sold me my 1st tub and I did my homework then and he encourage me to do so and come back with my findings. I will say Aqua Quip is doing something right. First they are still in business, no surprise to me. They are able to find the right people for their business and again must be doing something right as they tend to stick around for a long time. Dave finally retired in 2021. And lucky me I think I found someone he must have mentored in the Covington store!!! I am a strong believer of top down management and Aqua Quip demonstrates this hands down. Everyone that I have dealt with over the years has demonstrated professionalism, knowledge and most of all a great attitude. I bet I would have enjoyed working for the Owner of this company as it seems all the people their enjoy what they are doing, if not they must have some strong kool-aid;-) I am not sure why I have not provided this feedback earlier, I think it has to do with the time Derek shared with me yesterday and felt I needed to share this with others so they can have a great experience for their spa, barbeque and stove needs/wants. After thoroughly researching hot tubs, we purchased a Sundance Optima and our experience with Aqua Quip has been and continues to be exceptional. Every time we contact Aqua Quip by phone, text or e-mail, we receive a prompt and helpful response. When deciding which tub to purchase, I explained features that were important to me and concerns that I had. I needed a foot dome to mitigate ongoing podiatric challenges, I wanted strong jets to relax tense muscles from neck to toe. I wanted the latest technology to allow for ease of maintenance. I drive a 20 year old car and it still runs great. I wanted that same life span for my hot tub. While Sundance was not the least expensive option, its expected longevity and extensive warranty make it a wise investment. The delivery was timely, smooth and included in the price. Also included were the steps, the cover and a $300.00 credit for supplies. The jets are so powerful when adjusted to full strength, one has to brace one's self against the foot dome to stay put. We are able to keep the water pristine with the responsive guidance from the dealer and the superior filtration system. The side panels are easily removed to access the quiet and well insulated base. The stereo is fantastic with a booming subwoofer and crystal clear speakers. The colorful lights and waterfall provide beautiful aesthetics. I am able to monitor all aspects of the tub on my phone through bluetooth. The tub actually notifies me by text and e-mail when it needs anything. We cannot speak more highly of the service we receive from Kali and the entire Aqua Quip staff. We have owned our spa for a month and our bodies, minds and souls are soothed and elevated to new heights. To say that we love our spa would be an understatement. read more

Okay, this is difficult for me to write as I believe in a company trying to make things right before I blow them up on the internet. I have had so many interactions with customer service, warranty people, in-house sales people, service technicians and the District Manager over the years and I am still having the same issues with the hot tub that I started with when I purchased it 3 years ago. I purchased a Jacuzzi hot tub from Andre in the Covington store in January of 2021. Our experience at the store was pleasant with Andre, but since they got our money it has been an absolute nightmare!!! We have had nothing but problems with this hot tub since the day we purchased it. While it is under warranty, AquaQuip service has come to our place over 20 times with various problems ranging from replacing both pumps, replacing broken jets and replacing the non-fitting skirting around the perimeter of the tub. It's difficult to keep track of all of the issues they have attempted to handle over the years as they do not release the service records. The skirting issue has been ongoing since July of 2021 and has been exposed to the harsh winters we've had for over 2 years now causing who knows what additional damage. In the multiple visits they have come to replace skirting, it either didn't fit or they brought the wrong part. Every scheduled visit seems to be 6-8 weeks out. The past 5 visits or so, the service department has been trying to get my credit card number from me for their "file" which I absolutely refused to give since this thing is supposed to be under warranty. I was told that was their "policy." Why do you need my card if the work you are doing is for free? This evening as I sat inside our house, I heard a loud noise coming from the hot tub and it appears the pump is going out yet again. I chose to switch it off as I know it will be a while until I hear back from AquaQuip on a remedy. I'm at my wits end with AquaQuip, their customer service is an absolute joke. After the first 8 months of trying to communicate with Andre in 2021, (he usually takes a week to respond with an empty promise) I chose to try to work with the Federal Way store. While they had better response time, issues were slow to get resolved and of course now we have our latest issue. After multiple conversations with Andre (Covington Manager) and the Federal Way store regarding our warranty issues and the fact that this tub is an absolute lemon, I have been told multiple times that AquaQuip would make it right. There is nothing right with their customer service. I have told them multiple times over the past 2 years that I just want it gone and they have just delayed me saying now it's too late. Having this hot tub be constantly dysfunctional with problem after problem has been extremely stressful, which seems to be counterproductive to the point of having a spa. We paid over 12k (3) years ago for this tub and I have to think that with the number of times they have been out here common sense would kick in...just take this thing back!!! Make the customer happy, have some common decency here and treat us as if we may be a repeat customer. BUYER BEWARE, DON'T FALL FOR IT, THEY WILL SAY ANYTHING TO GET THE SALE AND MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD WHILE YOU ARE IN THE STORE THEN PROVIDE YOU WITH ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AFTERWARDS. read more

Ordered a 14k jacuzzi from this store in march, delivery date was set to be September but didn't receive it till Thursday November 20th. Worked with Derek Rose, the guy is nice until he gets paid, after that, it's the crappiest customer service. They scheduled delivery, guys show up stoned. Id talk to them, but they were on the phone with their 'boss' and wouldn't talk to me. Few minutes later, the guys have just left with the hot tub. Had to call Derek, and wait another 30min for them to show up again. They left the hot tub in the backyard, the cover and the steps were left in the park walkway i had to go bring them in. Tried calling the guys again to have them come back and deliver it where it's supposed to be delivered, they wouldn't answer my calls or return the call back. Sent 2 emails as well with no reply. So i had to go rent my own forklift and get it placed where it's supposed to be, because the delivery guys won't answer. All together shitty customer experience, probably don't pay them till you have things done the way they are supposed to be, otherwise good luck getting a hold of them. Spoke to Derek just today and they won't even reimburse the fork lift rental which was 600$ and he was ok with getting A negative review. My advise to you, go to a store with a better customer service. read more

Walked into aqua quip to look at the hot tubs and maybe get a flyer to take home. We spoke to Andre, and he gave us a lot of information on hottubs and things we never thought of asking about. It was very informative and no pressue of a sale. Very comfortable atmosphere and although we weren't entirely sold on a tub right this moment, there was no pressure on a purchase. We ended up getting a great deal. Would definitely recommend aqua quip and Andre, as the go to place for a great deal on a hot tub, fireplace, grill, etc... Bad customer service. Website says that they repair and service above ground pools but they fail to mention that they only work on THEIR pools. I called to have my pool troubleshooted and the guys response to my description of the problem was "Hmmm. Well you can come in and we can show you some stuff." Show me some stuff? After another minute of talking with this guy it was clear that he wasn't willing to help me fix my pool. He flat out just didn't want to. Thanks a lot Aqua Quip. Please note that their response was not customer-centered. In fact, they've dismissed the fact that their website was misleading. While their website doesn't specifically say that they repair or service above ground pools, it also doesn't say that they repair or service underground pools. It just says service and repair. They also sell above ground pools, therefore a customer can only infer that they also repair and service them. read more

So I have posted numerous complaints about our fireplace and the blower going out every year. Which is unacceptable in itself . Finally got a response back from someone named Justin. Telling me that our problem should not be happening , and that they would reach out to me. Well as usual with this company no response . It's just lip service, with no action. We paid $5000 for fireplace and instillation . I would love to have some customer service for the problem actually step up and correct this problem !! I want to give my opinion on the service at Aqua Quip. my sales and buying at this location is fantastic. But the service for this company is so far below I can't believe it. my hot tub quit working. took 9 weeks to get a technician out. turns out something piped my surge suppressor. I was told to replace. took a couple hours to find and replace. now I'm wait g almost 5 weeks to get a technician back out to figure out whe it won't heat and jets run nonstop. I have to call store because nobody at service does their job. no support at all. no communication at all. less than ZERO STARS read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE costumer service. We have had two technicians out. They've left both times saying it's working and it isn't. We waited months in between these appointments. We were supposed to have a third one come out but our appointment got cancelled. We waited two weeks for this appointment and now they're saying they can't come for another week. Absolutely horrible. However God forbid if something needs to be ordered l, being told an item will be in in a certain date and that you will be called is bad business especially when you call after a promised time and are giving a ten minute explanation basically saying it's not in, given a second day and the I call comes much later than promised, followed by a long wait when picking the item up and treated rudely when you complain. Extremely frustrating. My hot tub was delivered in June, it's now mid November. It had a broken piece of the base when it was delivered. They said they would take care of it. I have called 6 times over the last 5 months. The first 3 times they never even took notes. I have never gotten a call back. Every time I call they promise they will call me back. Nothing. I still don't even have an ETA for my broken base. Still no call backs. There is zero customer support... not good for spending $8000. Shop elsewhere if at all possible! read more

I do not recommend using this company. November 2021, Aqua Quip came out and did a service call, and discovered our fireplace insert needed a new gas valve. Part needed to be ordered. The Service Manager doesn't believe in carrying replacement parts on service trucks (this practice was confirmed by three service techs on three different service calls.) Second service appointment setup for two weeks later. Day of service, I was told that service tech didn't feel comfortable repairing the insert because of lack of experience. I asked when did the part come in, was told it came in the week before. I was told it would be another two weeks before they could send out a repair tech. Two weeks later, service tech showed up in a bad mood, complained that he didn't work on gas inserts, and he was a pool service repair tech (this was confirmed when my husband talked to service dept., and she denied it and asked "who said that." My husband told her it was the tech himself. Her comment was: he wasn't supposed to say that). After he threw a few "F" bombs around, complained a lot, he finished and left. He was here approx. 70 minutes. Without my approval, or seeing the invoice, my credit card was charged over $800. Two weeks ago, called to let Aqua Quip know we had some issues with the insert from the last service call. (Believing any company should stand by their service and work. (Silly me.)) Obviously, not my best decision. Another two weeks before we can get an appointment. Service tech shows up today. I give him a list of the problems we're having. He takes a picture of the list and tries taking the front glass off. He doesn't carry the tool (I'm shocked) on the truck, because his Service Manager doesn't have service trucks carry service parts (go figure). He said he had to leave and go find a tool at another AQ store. He said he would be back. Phone rings, (surprise) it's the AQ Service Dept. letting me know the tech would not be coming back, and another appointment would be in two weeks. Service customer rep apologized and said that they "would not" be charging me for the service call today. WHAT! I agreed and said you're not charging me for the next one either. She wouldn't agree to that. I was furious. After handing up, I started checking around. I found out from a reputable and reliable source (fireplace insert company) that AQ Service Department has a sketchy history of service ability and reliability. I have since canceled upcoming service call with AQ and rescheduled with another company with a much better reputation. They will be here in two days, NOT two weeks. Do yourself a favor and friends and use some other company. read more

I do not usually write reviews, positive or negative. However, I felt compelled to make an exception for what is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. And that's not to say anyone at Aquaquip was rude or nasty (Matt and his manager Sam are both nice guys, for what it's worth); it was really bad for other reasons. I went to Aquaquip in Kent on 7/20 for two reasons: to buy a barbecue, and to schedule some service on my spa. I prepaid for a "spa detail" and bought a Weber Genesis grill from them that day, which cost more than $1000 altogether. I was told at the time of purchase that the grill was not in stock. No big deal, I thought, as they were going to order it and have it shipped to the store by the next week. One of the main reasons I chose to buy from Aquaquip instead of Home Depot or Lowe's (aside from supporting a local business) was that the salesman said they could put it together for me. Initially he mentioned an additional price for this service, but did not charge me when I paid for the grill. So I went about my week, anticipating a call when my grill was ready to be picked up. By the following Friday, 7/28, I hadn't heard anything, so I called the store. I was told that the grill had been delivered, but that they hadn't had time to assemble it yet. I was told I could pick up the assembled grill on 7/29. Cool. So I went in on 7/29 expecting to pick up a grill. However, I was told that it was not ready yet, but that they would deliver it to me by the end of the day. This was pretty reasonable, since I just wanted to have a functional grill for guests that I was entertaining that evening. Later that afternoon, though, I received a phone call that it wouldn't be delivered that day, but I was given a $50 in-store credit for the delay. This would have made the difference for me had they actually delivered on Monday, 7/31 like they had promised. Instead, I did not hear at all from anyone at Aquaquip that day, much less take delivery. Since I did not hear from anyone, I called the store again on 8/1 and was subsequently told that my salesman was out of the store but they would call me back for a new delivery estimate. Yet again they left me hanging and did not call me back. Thus, I went back into the store on 8/2. My salesman was still out of the store, but I spoke with the manager who said it was going to be delivered on 8/3. While polite, the manager made no offer in terms of trying to rectify the situation, even though I stated multiple times I was not happy. Luckily, the fourth time was the charm, as my grill was finally delivered on Thursday, 8/3. Except, I wasn't so lucky, as it was not functioning. My father in law was there to take delivery since I work mostly normal business hours, and both the salesman and my father in law worked to get the grill to light, but could not figure it out. The salesman left, telling my father in law that he would be sending someone else out to take a look. About an hour later, I received a voicemail from the salesman, who said that he had talked with his manager. The recommendation from his manager was to call Weber customer service, since they have "excellent customer service." Since that time, no one from Aquaquip has contacted me to see if the grill was even working. Instead of coming home on 8/3 to a functioning grill, I came home to what looked like a halfway disassembled mess on my back patio. Luckily, I was able to fix and assemble the rest of the grill myself, but the repeated failure to deliver (literally and figuratively) on promises made has left an extremely bitter taste in my mouth; I doubt that I will ever buy anything from Aquaquip again. The spa detail was a little bit better, as they were able to coordinate a day that worked well for me. However, I did not hear from anyone at Aquaquip in terms of what time they would be showing up until 6:18 AM the day of the service (who calls that early?) to tell me they would be there by 7:30 AM. I found out that the guy had gotten here early by watching him walk into my backyard at 7:00 AM without so much as a knock at the door or phone call; other people might call this trespassing. The service itself seemed to be of good quality, though, even if the guy did try to sell me chemicals that I'm pretty sure I didn't need. I know nearly nothing about hot tubs, but I know enough about chemistry to know this guy did not really know much either. read more

Went to Covington Aqua quip to get parts for our old Cal Spa. The Cal gave us years of use but has started to give us problems. So Joey talked us into getting a "FLOOR MODEL " he told us that it was one that got sent to a customer and returned to the warehouse. He also told us that the spa would be detailed. On delivery my wife turned it away because it was DIRTY and had scratches. Mind you we were paying almost 17,000.00 after fianancing. The second time they tried to deliver I was home. I had no idea that NEW/SHOW ROOM models came with old DIRTY towels in them along with others scum and water stains around the drain. Hum??? Looking at the paper work closely I find that the tub is actually a 2013 model!!! Not a 2016 or even a 2015! He said at the beginning that he would give us 30% off of list of 17,500.00. So Joey calls back apologizing offers a new ordered tub and sends an email with the new numbers. I was shocked to see a 150.00 fee for the return of the other tub. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! After the second delivery attempt we went to the LAKEWOOD store and found the SAME tub but a 2016 for LIST of 14,500.00. Rayan (store manager) wrote us up an offer for another floor model that was at the warehouse but was a 60day old tub and never unwrapped. Today I called Rayan to ask about that tub. He tells me "that tub is sold and I see you are working with Joey" so there is nothing that he can do. So word to the wise BUYERS BE WARE!!! Make them show you the price of the tub because 30% off of 17,000 is allot different then 30% off of 14,500!!! And are you getting a new/showroom model or like the delivery guy told us when trying to deliver the second time "we just pulled this out of the other persons yard the first time we tried to deliver it to you". The price as explained to us by Joey was 17,500.00 before the discount plus we wanted the custom hard top added that's another 1500. There was not two different tubs delivered. It was the same tub twice and both times dirty. Also both times it came with a soft top for us to use because ours had to be ordered. Again buyer beware!!! Make them show you the tubs price! They have a book with all of the tubs list prices. Totally felt like I was getting ripped off! I might have settled for a lesser tub but I definitely walked away feeling satisfied and the help was outstanding at decks and spas in Kirkland. read more

Bought a decent sized above ground pool from a local store. Great deal on sale, but nobody there can help with water quality etc. Took a water sample to Aqua Quip because despite my best efforts the water which was once crystal clear had turned cloudy the last few days. Matt ran a quick test and ran me through the basics. Not knowing what all I needed I simply told him to hook me up with everything to get it back to sparkling beautiful. He could have sold me anything, but when I asked about stuff I didn't actually need he told me so. We walked out with a "Flippin Frog" that takes the guess work out of all the chemicals, a shock treatment, and water clarifier - that's it! He also gave me some discounts and a coupon for today's purchase, which only came to about $40! Thanks so much Matt, we'll be back, and maybe next year it will be for a bigger upgrade! read more

Very pleased with our experience with Aqua Quip. We walked in 20 minutes before closing, and Andre never made us feel rushed. We were standing over an $8000 Jacuzzi model, at first, but Andre took the time to talk to us about what we wanted and ask the right questions that we never thought about, and we purchased a $5200 Nordic model.
