I would not recommend Hot Tub Pros due to their unprofessional and poor communication, poor service delivery and inconsistent pricing. I hired them to do a year's contract including three maintenance cleans back in June. I prepaid $1120 and had one service provided. Due to my tenants moving out and no longer needing the hot tub, I asked if it was possible to repurpose the unused balance to instead drain and winterize the tub, assuming I would maybe get a little bit of a refund back after the winterization was taken into account. They ignored my multiple emails and I felt like I had to harass them to even just acknowledge receipt of my emails. When they finally responded, they said my first drain and fill was a filthy job and my tub was covered in ants and hence they should be charging me more, but they never mentioned this until now. It was rude and out of nowhere. They also said the website pricing was wrong and that the winterizing would cost more, and that they were also booked out but could maybe squeeze us in a few weeks and would check in later. It was strange to me that 1) they never mentioned the alleged issues with my first hot tub service, 2) they had inconsistencies in pricing between the email quote and their website, and 3) they didn't want to preschedule a standard service that was time sensitive and needed to be scheduled in advance. Finally, when they did actually come out do the winterization (after I pleaded with them to get it scheduled), the tub was left with water in the tub and we are unsure if it was properly winterized. I wrote again asking for clarity and he said he took video of the service footage and would send it to me; it's been over a week and still haven't received it after a couple of follow-up emails requesting it. I am nervous there is still water in the plumbing that would freeze and have no confirmation that the winterization actually was completed. This company is hugely unprofessional and needs to get their act together. I hope this review will prompt them to reply to my unanswered emails and send me the video footage. read more

I used this service for about two years and they've ghosted me several times, not showing up for months at a time. Communication has been nonexistent. When they showed up they did a good enough job, but reviewing my invoice I see that they charge seemingly random amounts of money. When they didn't show up there was no communication as to why or when they would come. They repaired my controller last year and used the wrong part so I can no longer use all jets. And it took over 4 months to get them to screw that up. Obviously, I would not recommend them. read more

I recently purchased a home with a hot tub and I have zero experience with one aside from enjoying them at a hotel while on vacation. I called several places with no luck until I found Hot Tub Pros. It was very easy and convenient to schedule an appointment online. Doug, the owner came out on time and quickly started draining and cleaning the tub. In between, Doug took the time to show me how to operate the tub, clean & maintain the water quality on a regular basis. He was patient to answer all my questions (I had many) and the best part was he never tried to sell me on anything but recommended what I really needed. It pays to search vendors using Yelp reviews. Doug brought me up to spied on how to care and clean my newly acquired hot tub! He was extremely thorough during the cleaning, explained everything in detail, and directed me towards resources should I ever forget or run into an unanticipated problem. This was money well spent! I purchased the hot tub drain & clean. The website was super easy to navigate, allowing reservation and payment to be made in one click. Doug arrived on time, and provided every needed for the cleaning (less the water- that came from our water spout outside the house. But he even provided the hose!). He cleaned up everything neatly when he was finished. I am considering purchasing quarterly hot tub maintenance cleanings from him- it was that easy! read more

We recently bought a house with a hot tub that was clean, but empty. We've never had a hot tub before, so contacted Hot Tub Pros to help us out. Setting up an appointment was a piece of cake on their website. Our service tech - Doug - was terrific. Very thorough in cleaning and filling the tub. And extremely knowledgeable. You can tell he's been in the business for a while. Answered all my questions in detail and went over the do's and don'ts in regards to maintenance and chemicals. We've bought a house with a hot tub and didn't have time to do a thorough sanitary clean ourselves nor did we have knowledge or tools. It's now officially cold outside and we finally wanted to enjoy our hot tub. The problem was that we don't want to get in the water that hasn't been changed after the previous home owners. I have decided to messaged the number on yelp to see if we can get the last minute appointment which we did for a slightly increased fee (The service costs $325 without it). Doug and his colleague arrived on time and were very knowledgeable and efficient. The drained all of the water, do a thorough scrubbing and cleaning and filled a new water for us. I'm only giving #hottubpros 2 stars because The guy that did the cleaning was awesome and the tub is sparkling.    #hottubpros customer service and communications SUCKS........... They came out to do a clean and inspection, We had 1 pump not working and let them know we didn't know why. He told my wife we needed a new pump.The issue is after emailing and calling for 3 weeks we finally got an email response, Stating they are 3 weeks out on estimates and over 6 months on repairs. I call BS. Almost 6 weeks now and still no estimate. This company does a great job cleaning your tub. Getting a repair or tub  fixed will not happen. So we had to spend another $200.00 to have someone come out to trouble shoot and guess what? It wasn't the pump after all, It was the topside control. I would not recommend Hottubpros. read more

Doug is the owner and has serviced my 450 gallon Sundance hot tub since 2007. He is beyond amazing. He is personal, on time, pleasant and goes above and beyond every time. He returns my calls and emails promptly which I appreciate. He gives excellent advice when I need to think outside the box. Doug sold an excellent new insulated lid for my hot tub. He also replaced a yellowing filter part for me that was driving me crazy lol. He has fixed my "over heating" error many a times. Doug is awesome. Exactly what you want, but rarely find, in a contractor/technician. We bought a house with an older spa that needed work. Doug has been reliable, professional, well-priced, and straight forward with his recommendations. He doesn't come across as sales-y or pushy. I trust what he says, and he delivers on his commitments. He makes an effort to fit us into his busy schedule and completes his jobs efficiently, sometimes coming back with lower pricing than quoted (example- when he discovers he can warranty a part). I can't say enough good things about Doug and his company. We moved to another house that had an older tub needing some TLC. Doug set it up for us and changed to a bromine system to be easier on my sensitive skin.
