I'm really disappointed with how Olympic Hot Tub handled what should have been a straightforward…read morewarranty issue. I own an Olympic Flair hot tub, and recently about half of the lighting system stopped working. I scheduled a service visit expecting a typical warranty repair. The technician came out, did an initial inspection, and noted some trace evidence of mouse activity inside the cabinet. At that point, he stopped work and the issue was effectively denied as a warranty claim. Here's the problem with that. This isn't about "mice being present." This is about the fact that mice were able to get inside the sealed cabinet of the hot tub in the first place. A product like this, with internal electrical components, should be designed and installed in a way that reasonably prevents that kind of access. The spa has not been modified, moved, or subjected to anything outside of normal residential use. Instead of addressing that root issue, Olympic chose to treat it as customer-caused damage and declined to proceed with repair. That doesn't sit right with me. I've since escalated this because the real concern here is product integrity. If rodents can get into the internal components, that's a design or installation issue, not just "bad luck." To be fair, the technician was professional and easy to work with. The frustration is with how the situation was handled after that point. If you're considering buying from Olympic, I'd recommend asking very specific questions about how their tubs are sealed and how they handle situations like this under warranty. That part of the experience has been disappointing. I'm still hopeful they'll step up and make this right, but as it stands, this hasn't been a great experience.

It was disgusting to say the least - dense algal growth, scum, smells, and more. We were afraid the tub would be unsalvageable and we started calling hot tub repair companies as a last-ditch effort. After getting no response from a couple and a long runaround from a third company that repeatedly promised to call back soon with an appointment date and then canceled appointments at the last minute, I reached out to Eastside Hot Tub. They were immediately responsive and quickly worked us into their schedule. The person who made our service call was astonishingly unperturbed by the state of our hot tub and fixed it for us for a startlingly low fee. This was the first hot tub my wife and I have owned or been responsible for maintaining, so I also had a lot of questions regarding maintenance, which he happily answered. This experience took place four months ago now and I have had zero problems with the hot tub ever since; I have just been following his recommendations and instructions for maintenance and everything has been great. Our hot tub cover was also badly deteriorated and was retaining water and bacterial growth. Our serviceman quoted us a great price for a replacement and helped us find a great color match for our hot tub and surrounding structure; we are quite happy with this purchase as well. If you want a professional, knowledgeable, and thorough service experience with good quality work that all comes at a reasonable price, look to Eastside Hot Tub!

Michael diagnosed the problem -- our 25-year-old pump and 50+ year old sand filter (!) needed to be replaced. No surprise there. He talked us through the options and provided us with a written proposal the next day with line items for the recommended new equipment and labor costs. The equipment was ordered, then installed by Michael and his co-worker a few days later -- all less than a week from when we had initially called. We were trained on how to operate the shiny new (much more energy efficient and quiet) equipment and Michael was responsive to a couple follow up calls with questions. Everything was totally professional, transparent, efficient, and reliable from start to finish. And our water is clearer than it has ever been! Amcon is definitely our new pool service and repair company of choice. Thank you!

They took the time to understand our vision and walked us through every phase of the project with clear, proactive communication. We always knew exactly what was happening and what to expect next, which made the entire process stress-free. The results speak for themselves--our backyard has been completely transformed into a resort-style oasis that my family, friends and I will enjoy for years to come. Every detail is perfect, and the craftsmanship is outstanding. If you're considering a pool project, I can't recommend Amcon Pool and Spa enough. Tyler and Jeff exceeded every expectation and turned our dream into reality!

They arrived right on time, got straight to work, and completed everything efficiently and professionally. I received quotes from three different landscaping companies, and Saltos was by far the most responsive and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Saltos Landscaping to anyone looking for reliable, professional landscaping services.

UPDATE: Oscar, the lead landscaper was good at minimal regular maintenance but will do nothing…read moreextra unless asked. He rather leave the job site early and can't be trusted to complete other tasks correctly. This has been ongoing for a very long time. Saltos was asked to hand prune our Rhododendrons to about 5 ft. Come to find out this is what they ended up doing as shown in the photos, hence the one star review. I reported this to the owner Jesus. Instead of receiving an apology, Jesus opted to discontinue services. Good riddance and a blessing! I ended up hiring a much better self-motivated and energetic landscapers who do not require supervision. They're fast, efficient, and work together do make sure the property looks good before they leave. I am so much happier. This is the way landscapers should be. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Saltos used to do a decent job, but the last years the quantity of work they do has dropped. I'm supposed to be getting two hours of service with a two man crew. Lately, I've only been getting two hours only when I'm home to give Oscar further instructions and to supervise. They consistently take off after mowing, edging, blowing and doing cleanup, which only takes about an hour of time. Most of the time they do a decent job cleaning. On occasion they would simply skip areas. Our property is not huge. The same crew has been maintaining our property since the start. They need to take more of an initiative to maintain our bushes and rhododendrons not using a hedge trimmer.
