Went in to order hot tub cover replacement.....waited 10 weeks! Picked it up, took it home, unwrapped it and found damage! Spa warehouse offers 50 bucks credit. Said ok! Took it back home and set it on hot tub and it is the wrong size, straps in wrong location etc. Now mind you an employee input all dimensions etc based on the model description we gave him.....also purchased it there. Nothing on paperwork says no returns, but that seems to be their policy.......even when damaged and built wrong by their vendor! Go to Aqua Quip and save yourself a headache! read more

I have an older Caldera spa. On Feb 10th Spa Warehouse sent out two technicians that determined I needed a new circuit board and control panel that would need to be retrofitted and that the parts would take two weeks to arrive. I called after 5 weeks and was told they had to wait to order my parts along with others and would call me when they knew the parts would arrive. One week later they scheduled me. On the day they were to show up, they called and said they were on their way to install my pump. I said, you mean my circuit board and control panel? The technician had to call me back stating that he called the wrong customer and advised me that they declined my job. I said well, you've already billed me for the parts. He replied "oh then how about we reschedule you the following week"? I agreed. They showed up on April 9th and then told me "by the way, your lights will no longer work and that he could retrofit a light for another $300 after I'm already in this for $1600+. I said you should have let me know at the time and he said "sorry, I forgot to mention that part". I said then forget it. He said" Then there will be a 15% restock charge". He said the restock fee was mentioned on my receipt. They never sent me a receipt. He also told me that Caldera recommends not using the light and that most people don't. Really?? As he was standing there he suggested I call the store to take the issue up with them as he starts texting someone. The store has yet to answer the phone after 4 tries and two voicemails. I sent him on his way because he said if he waited longer than 15 minutes he would have to start charging me. Stay tuned... read more

Danny and Jake delivered our hot tub this morning. They are amazing at their craft! It was fun to watch them methodically think about the turns needed to put the tub in the best position. We received a great education being first time tub owners. Jeremy, our salesman, was educational and fun to learn from. Garbage Company! Gave them a deposit for a hot tub and never heard back from them. Finally contacted them to get the deposit back and they wouldn't return it. Unethical company and DON'T put down a deposit! Ended up at Seattle Hot tubs and they were excellent from start to finish! Better tubs as well, went with a Marquis! Great folks to work with! Our old tub had some problems, and Daniel came out, diagnosing multiple issues that led us to consider replacement. We did some research and spoke with Marshall at SW and he was great: informative, not at all pushy, and helpful. Once we made a choice, they offered to pick up our old tub at no charge, which was a good benefit! Further, in the unboxing process at SW, Marshall notes a broken cabinet corner and immediately offered a valuable add-on (a cover slide) to compensate. Went to the spa warehouse in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. They had a pretty good selection and options in my price range. It's been a few years now and I have zero regrets about my purchase. Hot tub helps with the aches and pains of daily workouts. Regulates my core temperature when I'm either over cold or over warm. Wow, I can't say enough great things for my purchase from Marshall. I walked in wanting to buy an online 'special' hot tub for two person. The online version was half the price of what Spa Warehouse had. Marshall asked me about the qualities I was looking for, jets, pressure, etc... And knew what options were for me to look at. This was a first time purchase for me so I knew nothing. The part that sealed the deal for my purchase was Marshall being honest and up front. He even suggested I shop other local shops but whatever I do, do not buy the online version with no dealer support, even if I bought from another local spa dealer! I appreciated that honesty. The people are friendly and it's a beautiful store, I want a new hot tub every time I go in. Now I want a super cool cover lift to go with a beautiful new tub with Bluetooth Soundsystem and crazy led lights, Santa will be made aware of this for sure! Anyways, I went in to purchase my second cover from them, and I was able to get cash discount for my first one, but apparently the new software does not allow for that. Minus two stars for that. I certainly wouldn't tell anybody to not shop there, I just failed to live by my old saying of expectations leadsl to let downs. I have zero problem with mistakes and total respect for learning, which is the underpinning of customer service. I appreciate the responsiveness, and hope this helps both buyers and sellers avoid this kind of thing in the future. (Original post): I was going to email instead of leaving a review, but that doesn't seem to be an option. The first part of this purchase was great. We'd been talking about getting a hot tub for a while, found ourselves with a free afternoon, and decided to start the process. We were aware of the long lead times, so we figured we'd leave our above-ground pool up for one more summer and put the spa in in the fall. Picked this local company with mostly great reviews and were delighted to find that the tub we'd been considering was one of the 2 tubs they had in stock. Made the purchase, asked about what size concrete slab to pour, and asked about electrical considerations. The answer to that question was "Just plug it in to a standard outlet." I am willing to entertain the idea that because we had been talking about plug-and-play hot tubs earlier in the visit that the question was misunderstood. But at some point when we were going over paperwork, it really should have been mentioned that we actually would need quite a few things in place as far as wiring, and that we would need an electrician. It was not mentioned. We took the pool down, dug out the space, had our contractor buddy pour a slab, had the tub delivered last Wednesday, and were a bit taken aback when the delivery team asked when our electrician was coming. When we said we didn't know we needed one, they said Spa Warehouse could recommend someone and it would probably be ~$1500. Okay... We had our contractor buddy back out to look at things (hot tubs are not his usual thing), and he was also a bit incredulous that we had gotten zero information about what would be required, including running quite a bit of conduit from the breaker panel (on the opposite corner of the house, of course), potentially through the crawl space, and possibly even needing to switch out our current panel to provide enough juice for the house and the tub (adding another $1K or so). Which we actually would have had done before delivery if we had had ANY information about it. Salesdude had the sale, there was no reason to withhold the info. It should be standard when closing a sale that all information regarding space, wiring, and surface requirements be explicitly provided. We were totally open about our lack of hot tub experience, and totally open to every recommendation. So it's the hottest weekend of the year, the pool is down, there's an empty hot tub sitting in a patch of dirt because we can't put the pavers in or seed new grass around it until the wiring is done, and instead of sitting in some nice, clean, cool, jetted water in the sunshine, I'm taking cold showers, trying not to move, and trying not to be so, so disappointed in what I thought was going to be a great locally-owned company to support. I get that nobody can be 100% all the time, but this is just inexplicably craptastic, and completely avoidable. By the way, I did call the electricians they recommended. Got a full voicemail box from one, and spoke with another extremely nice guy (Tim) who seemed utterly chagrined at the prospect of working this sweltering weekend (which I never would even ask anyone to do) or potentially losing the business. If I'd been able to call him a couple of weeks ago, we might all be sitting pretty right now. I'll still be in a hot tub before November, so yay for that, but I'm also still so, so disappointed in this huge, unnecessary obstacle to getting there. read more

Marshall picked up my call and that was the beginning of this journey, this long-held vision of having access to swimming mere inches from my front door. This kind of purchase is akin to buying a car, but, even more demanding. Marshall escorted me , so graciously, astutely, patiently and kindly...so very many steps along the way. His genuine regard and concern for high quality & efficacy, (plus intermittent problem-solving), never waned, as I sought his counsel in my pursuit, en route to a swim spa acquisition in the interest of restoring my recently compromised muscle strength and mobility due to extreme over (albeit highly productive creative) work (for my non-profit) that required too much sitting at the computer...at a significant juncture, we met the owner's son, Jeremy and understood why Marshall so very much values being an integral part of this long-standing, customer service-prioritized family business...stay tuned for my P.S. down the road once my R500 swim spa arrives, is hooked up and immersible! read more

Not sure what to say here. If it was just bad customer service that would be one thing but NO customer service has been my experience. Once you pay for your tub they dump you. I had a few issues initially and called both the showroom and service and NEVER received a return call. I can't even get these jokers to send me my final paperwork after several requests. The contract delivery folks were great but the rest simply stinks. Highly recommend purchasing a different brand as this company DOES NOT value customer service at all. Must be supply and demand. Sad just sad. Not sure how they stay in business. read more

I don't know how this place is still in operations. Dealing with them has been the worst buying experience that I can remember. The staff has extremely limited knowledge of the products. It took many weeks to get it delivered, and many more weeks before it was set up. The Covana spa cover *still* doesn't work. The customer experience felt like dealing w a sleazy used-car dealer. Note that the Caldera spa itself is excellent. It's just the store/service that are deplorable. My next letter to to Caldera spa headquarters: they should cease their partnership w Spa Warehouse, and give Seattle buyers a chance to get great service somewhere else. read more

I did a ton of research on spas and spa companies before I bought mine 3 weeks ago from the Spa Warehouse. I made my purchase from them based on the believe that they were part of Masco and had been in the area for 30 years and thus would provide superior installation and service. (I do not believe Caldrea is the best spa but decided to go with them because I believed they would provide better service than others.) I am sad to say that while Spa Warehouse is great and genuine when selling the product, they are completely underwhelming when it comes to delivery and installation. Before purchasing my spa I provided detail pictures of the stairs, yard etc so there would be no confusion about the delivery and so there were no surprises. They left the spa in my yard and refused to move it up the flight of stairs to my deck. It cost $450 to have the Spa moved and then an additional $225 to have an electrical inspector complete the installation. After unwrapping the spa I discovered a corner panel was broken. I emailed a copy of the panel to my salesman and he assured me that it would be covered under warranty. The delivery coordinator then called me back and said that they "know" the second delivery caused the damage and that they are responsible for the $125 part and refused to cover the part. So I spent $8,000 on a spa and am now out an additional $675 dollars doing the job they contracted to do and now they want to bicker of $125! That alone should tell you all you need to know about this company, but wait there is more. After posting my review, Dale, the owner calls and leaves me a message saying "I heard your are having a little problem, and would like to talk with you." Little problem really? It took a scathing review to get your attention? Now this is all you need to know about this company! Burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me. I will follow up later when I find an independent technician to service my spa, because the Spa Warehouse clearly can not be trusted at their word, which makes me wonder about the rest of the Masco products. I highly recommend you find any company but the Spa Warehouse if you are looking for a quality spa experience. read more
