We were told that in a day or 2 someone will contact us to make appointment for measurements and template. The measurements is expected to be in about 1.5 weeks. Then approximately another 1.5 weeks for installation. We waited almost a week until we got the call from Kari. Kari asked if we have the cooktop yet. We told her that it will be onsite in 3 days. She refused to schedule an appointment, insisting it's "company policy" that we MUST have the cooktop onsite in order to simply schedule an appointment. And the appointment will be 2 weeks out from the time of scheduling. Also she said it will cost extra for teardown the existing countertop (which we expected). But she refused to give an estimate for the additional cost. She even said that we can cancel the order if we don't like it. This company is VERY difficult to work with from the beginning!! It is giving us the preview of more troubles to come down the road if we continue the order.

Many companies claim to have good customer service and quality work but Silverado delivers on those promises. We have a "vintage" 1948 bathroom that presented some challenges. While other contractors refused to even consider it and recommended a complete gutting Silverado worked with us to integrate the new shower in our retro bathroom. Their installers work for them and are not independent contractors. Abel was amazing. They take care to create as little disturbance or mess as possible and pay attention to all the details. There was a plumbing issue (old house problems) and Abel spent the time to solve it correctly. We worked with both Larry and Glen setting for bids and material and both were wonderful. Larry even stopped by to check on the progress of the project. As for the product itself, all of the materials are top quality. You can find cheaper alternatives (BathFitters, premade surrounds) but the quality of both the materials and install can't match Silverado. If you are considering it I'd highly recommend a visit to their showroom. The end product is beautiful and the best part--no grout cleaning ever again!!

I am so grateful after seeing some of the reviews on Angie's List and Houzz that I reached out to Tony & Judy @ Tony's Customs Cabinets. It was the right temperament and chemistry after having experienced less than satisfying interaction with the big box stores and self-promoting boutique craftsmen. Tony is hands-on and grounded in his congenial approach understanding that homeowners have an initial vision for their kitchen yet need at times his artisan approach to make it a reality and fill in the empty pieces of the puzzle that are not always known at the onset of a project. Tony further made referrals available from the onset and this helped us to gain some additional feedback on what Tony did for others on their projects. Tony's methodical approach to work is so well thought out and comprehensive in scope. He hones in on the little details that made our project absolutely delightful. Tony provided scaled color diagrams so that we can picture in advance what our kitchen would look like. Tony also provided meaningful suggestions in keeping with a home of 1906 vintage. Moreover, the project cost was reasonable and on schedule without any surprises. I appreciate when a contractor like Tony respects our time and is respectful of our home in terms of tidiness. Tony and two of his stellar assistants Eric/Jason further helped me out in a pinch on most of the initial demo work after my other contractor became unexpectedly ill and hospitalized. In short, Tony went way beyond the call of the duty with our kitchen remodel. The extra storage space in our kitchen is now utterly phenomenal and the long sought after pantry is now a reality particularly for my wife. The gorgeous cherry wood door and inner Baltic birch shelves are both upscale and the true mark of an old school craftsman who does not cut corners on quality and workmanship. We are so pleased with Tony and Judy @ Tony's Custom's Cabinets that we will have Tony taking the lead role for our bathroom remodel this coming Fall.

I am looking forward to the shed being delivered in April, and for my girls to enjoy their new home!

I'll preface this five star review by stating up front that initially everything didn't go right…read more I hold that the mark of a good company and good people for that matter is how they perform when things go pear shaped. Clearly Windows is an exceptional company who has really good people within their ranks. I was referred to Clearly Windows by the anonymity of the internet and some folks whom I've never met. I did due diligence and looked at their website and some customer reviews. I even noted how they didn't appear to censor reviews that were less than stellar. Those seemingly negative reviews seemed to be based more in the feels than actual facts, so I admittedly wasn't all that interested them. It is shockingly easy to criticize companies and people when we are shrouded by the security provided by a good WiFi signal and a keyboard. My initial correspondence with Clearly Windows wasn't unlike any other company. I completed a standardized online inquiry and was contacted by Barry, one of their supervisors. Barry and I worked out a date for a consultation and we were off and running. Barry showed up to my home on time, professionally attired, and proceeded to walk through a comprehensive review of the services I needed. I really appreciated how Barry talked me through services that would be of benefit, steered me away from services I didn't need or want, and took the time to establish a working relationship with me. It was evident that he was more concerned about gaining my trust than making a quick buck. I'm paraphrasing a bit here, but I do recall Barry telling me that if I wasn't 100% satisfied with the work, that he wouldn't take my money. I appreciated his confidence. I ultimately decided on having our gutters, vinyl siding, and windows (interior and exterior) cleaned. We agreed upon a price point and scheduled our service a couple weeks out. Later that day, Barry contacted me and told me that he could bump our service date up a couple of days if that worked for my schedule. Awesome. Dan and Ben came out to my house on time. I was impressed by how attentive and professional they were. Top notch customer service. They worked diligently on my home for about 5 hours. When they prepared to leave, Dan told me that if I noticed any discrepancies whatsoever, to contact the company and that they would come back and remedy them, no questions asked. Once my house dried, I inspected the work Dan and Ben did. I noticed that my vinyl siding had multiple areas that had prominent dirt streaks and run marks. The windows and gutters were spotless, but the siding was frankly unacceptable. I'm not in the business of looking for handouts or throwing hard working guys under the bus, but needless to say I wasn't satisfied with how the siding looked, especially considering our financial investment. I sent Barry some photos and an email outlining the issues I had. No less than 10 minutes later, Barry called me and told me that he was going to personally come out the next day to rectify those areas I had identified. It was obvious to me that he took my concerns to heart and restated Clearly Windows' commitment to 100% customer satisfaction. I told Barry that I didn't want Dan and Ben to get jammed up, adding that I didn't think it was due to laziness or ineptitude. Sometimes stuff happens. This was a fairly significant job (at least to me) and at the end of the day, I just wanted it fixed. Fast forward to 1030 the next day. Barry didn't show up, but Dan and Ben did. Maybe it's a small thing, but I really dug the fact that Dan and Ben were the ones to come out to see the issues I had. They acknowledged them without argument and then proceeded to redo the entire exterior to include redoing the exterior windows. Again. Without argument, protest, or attitude. Both those guys clearly wanted to make things right and I was completely taken aback by how they owned the discrepancies, still provided top notch customer service, and made sure that I was made whole when they were done. Barry followed up afterwards with a personal phone call to make sure that the job was completed to my satisfaction. Sometimes stuff happens. I could get all wrapped around the axle about how there were some points that needed to be addressed, but that wouldn't tell the whole story. I came away from this experience feeling great. I couldn't say enough about Clearly Windows, the people they employ, and the level of customer service they provide. It should be the norm....trust me, it isn't. Sometimes it pays to hire the guys who 1) Know what they're doing, 2) Take pride in their work, and 3) Work diligently to address any issues that arise professionally and without hassle. I'd hire Clearly Windows again in a minute and refer them without hesitation. Thanks guys.

After working with First Due in February, we hired them again to move into our new house in July…read more This was a more complicated process, involving packing up our storage unit in one city and our apartment in another, and then unloading everything at the house, on a narrow street with almost no parking. I was nervous about the logistics, but I didn't need to be: the crew was as professional and conscientious as last time. And though I hate to admit it, our storage unit had a rat issue, and the movers were unfazed by the droppings on some of the items; they carefully moved aside boxes that had been gnawed on so we could inspect them before putting them into the truck. At the house they even carried furniture and heavy boxes up a steep, narrow interior stairway without so much as scuffing a wall. The big hurdle was getting our sectional sofa into the living room, and sadly it didn't fit through the door, but the crew tried every trick they knew before we had to give up. Hiring First Due was the best decision we made in this move, and we would still 100% recommend them to make moving easier!
