Jake the arborist and his two crew members did a fantastic job removing our tree! They had to remove it carefully while not disturbing the neighbors' maple trees and other plants that were very close to it. They were prompt, friendly, and efficient. They thought it might take three hours but it took them only about 1.5 hours. They also asked if we wanted any of the tree for firewood or projects. We said no, so they took away all the branches, trunk pieces, and debris. We were pleased with how the whole removal process went. A few days later, the office contacted Marcus to see if it went well and if we had any feedback or requests for them before they sent us an invoice. Great customer service! Communications about my quote are clear and timely. The company carefully checked that I had received sufficient permission for removal of the tree. The two technicians were efficient and friendly. The only thing I expected and didn't receive was a text or call telling me the technicians were on their way, as I hoped to be home while they performed the work.

I previously hired the same company to do some work for me during COVID-19, and they did an…read moreexcellent job cleaning up the yard and cutting down and stacking the wood. When I rehired them in June 2024, they charged me nearly $3,000 to trim the trees in my front yard and on the side of the fence with my neighbor's permission. The sap and pine cones from the trees have been causing damage to many cars. I told the owner, Mark, the specific areas that needed to be addressed, and he assured me that he could use a truck with a lift or a bucket to get the job done. Upon returning from my vacation, I discovered that no work had been completed on the side area, and the mess left in my backyard was not addressed either. Despite contacting Mark with pictures and calls to express my dissatisfaction, no refunds were offered for the first job, and the wood from the second job remains uncleared. Given this experience, I would not recommend this company, especially since the owner did not acknowledge the issues. After two weeks, he sent some guys out to move the wood in one area, and they must have used chainsaws and more workforce to move it. That job was another few thousands. I know inflation has gone up, but I didn't think Mark would let his quality of work go south.

After they took down a big Douglas fir my daughter was sad about that so one person cut the top off and gave it to us to use as a Christmas tree, which cheered her up. They did a great job with taking the tree down carefully so my neighbor's fence and house was not damaged nor was there any damage to our yard. The hauled most of the wood away and left some for me, at my request, to split for firewood. The crew was respectful, courtous, and the price was as we agreed. We are looking forward to a much cleaner driveway. The only problem we had was they were scheduled several weeks in advance so we had to wait but the wait was worth it.
