We have used this company for termite control for a number of years. But when we recently developed a squirrel and rat problem in our attic and basement, we contacted them for wildlife service. As expected, it isn't easy to immediately identify where the problem is coming from but they were relentless in pursuing a solution. Kudos to Eli and his team, as well as Jeremy and his . They did not give up until our problem was solved, including going through a very small opening into the crawl space under our back porch to identify the main point of entry. Not a pleasant job but as Eli put it, "you gotta do what you gotta do." We appreciate their efforts and perseverance and we highly recommend Northwest. They are awful. They call 10 min before they come so if you remember they are booked quarterly this is the notice they give you. Hope you don't work during the day. I started having a millipede problem, it was never fixed. They offered to come out one Friday that would be to spray extra, they never came , I called repeatedly, they finally came and were extremely rude about it, I didn't book the time, but I sure did take off work for it, so sorry, for inconveniencing you for the time YOU TOLD ME you'd come out for the service IM PAYING FOR. They finally get there. Place down sticky traps, tack off all my downstairs wall electrical outlets, reinstall 70%, millipedes are still present . I'm sure they use something easily bought over the counter any consumer can use bc nothing they have done has been commercial levers that I would recommend paying them for anything . read more

I went to Northwest b/c my neighbors raved about them - I went to their website first, did online chat with their customer service about a possible bed bug problem and then after some chatting back-n-forth, they scheduled my free inspection a couple days later. They made the process so easy! They gave a 1-hr window of when the inspection specialist would be arrive, and before that time, the inspection specialist (Brad) called to say he was 30min away. When he arrived, he wore a mask and disposable booties before he came inside. Super friendly, super knowledgeable, very informative and answered all my questions. With a flashlight, he checked under my mattress, my bed and behind my headboard for two bedrooms. And during that inspection, I learned a whole lot about bed bugs and great tips/advice for my next travels! Well he didn't find any bed bugs but gave the option to still do an extermination -- and/or until then, put sticky paper below each bed to see if the bed bugs make an appearance ... we will see! Overall, great service! He left his business card in case I had questions and when/if I decide to request an exterminator. They had wrong map of my house and they did not want to do a correct job acording to sell rep info that gave me and State GA EPA, and USADA.They wanted to do 1/3 job. My family are customers of Northwest Pest Control and Northwest Wildlife for our homes. They are an excellent pest control and wildlife control company. Their technicians are excellent and they are very responsive when their customers need them. For wildlife control we have used them for problems with several varmints. Over the weekend our tenant complained that she thought she had a bat in her apartment in the closet. With a full schedule and all their technicians booked up Northwest Wildlife managed to send out Mike Elrod today to investigate the apartment. Mike arranged for an expert from Dekalb Environmental Services to meet him to investigate and capture the alleged bat. He also came with ladders and another tech and checked to see if there was any way a bat could enter her apartment. No bat, just a panicked woman, but Northwest and Mike went above and beyond to make sure that our tenant was safe. read more

Northwest is the absolute Best in Metro Atlanta~! I have tried them ALL! I stumbled upon them because I was tutoring a student and noticed the next door lawn which was amazing! The tech was blowing leaves off the customers lawn before the treatment. The lawn was the most beautiful lawn ever seen. It was winter and the grass was Zoe'.... They are either not coming out when they say they do, or watering down their solution to the point it's more harm than help. I've worked with Orkin with past properties, and they were great! They could come out as frequent as weekly when it was a bad mosquito season and were able to fix an infested yard. Northwest is contracted for our condo building and it's awful. The mosquitoes and ants are overwhelming, when Northwest comes out, i'd like to know what they actually do, since the situation just gets worse and worse. We signed up for rodent exclusion and pregnancy-safe pest control. Rodent exclusion was just done. TBD on that. Leon came for pest control. He's amazing. He does a lot of the houses in our neighborhood and knows everyone. He's the friendliest, most informative tech I've ever used. He even had background information specific to our house since he used to handle it years ago before we lived here. Horrible! We had the exclusion barrier service at our house and within months had flying squirrels and other creatures having a field day in our attic and first floor. We had a hard time getting anyone from Northwest to come out to address the problem--when they did arrive, they would tiptoe into the attic, glance at the traps and report no issues before speeding away. We got a second opinion from a wildlife firm that provided us with photos of gaping holes around our windows that Northwest had never blocked or barricaded. Still waiting on my refund from Northwest. We just started the "green" pest control service with them and have been really happy so far. The pricing was very clear and the representative who serves our area took the time to talk with us about our needs. I really like that he tries to mostly spray outside our home and in our crawl space, so we can minimize what our toddler is exposed to. read more
