As of last night, I've decided to hire Crocodile Dave's (CD's) for both the exclusion work on my house and the rodent removal. Dave came out on time and was very amenable. He used booties when entering the house and wore a mask when interacting with us or entering the house. He was courteous and honest. He told me up-front that if we chose CD's, that we'd be paying a bit of a premium for the exclusionary work because (for us) it involves some pretty extensive carpentry due to a previous contractor's poor work. [Honestly, kind of expected this.] He also helped me to understand that even when the job is done and the guarantee is in place, if I have work done to the exterior of the house, then the exclusionary work will need to be rechecked to be sure that the guarantee is still valid. This means that if a future contractor has to take off something that CD's put up, CD's will come out and inspect it and they might need to redo the exclusion. If they have to redo the exclusion, it will void the guarantee until that work is done (which will cost more) - and that makes perfect sense. Also, prior to this appointment, I informed the scheduler that I would not be able to leave work until 3:30 PM. She helped me set it up so that Dave could call me while he did the external inspection and then I would arrive in time for him to come inside and do the internal inspection. This really helped me out, because I work 45 minutes away from home and normally, CD's working hours last only until 4 o'clock. When scheduling the work and the trap checks for later on, Dave was also amenable and helpful in being flexible with timing. As an educator that does NOT work on weekends (except for lesson planning at home, /sigh), I fully understand CD's unwillingness to work on weekends. I DO wish they had a weekend crew, but I'm sure the logistics and oversight would be (at least) difficult. As a member of a Board of an HOA, it was no less than supportive service, timeliness, and ability to handle the job of rat exclusion on our group of townhomes. Our worries are over!!! We were very fortunate to have the friendly and knowledgeable folks working on our homes to exclude rodent entry; they kept us informed, including photo updates of any inefficiencies and entry points found in areas not accessible without being up near gutters and roofs. What can I say? Moved into a house with rat issues and needed the situation addressed. Called Crocodile Dave and scheduled an appointment. I should have reconsidered after listening to the lady at the office struggle to act like she had a clue what she was doing to begin with. Live and learn. Dave showed up LATE to our appointment even though there was a two hour window. Not even a phone call letting us know he would be late by another hour. He did get his ladder off the truck and look around taking pictures. I noticed while looking at his pictures that one of the openings he was showing me wasn't even my house. I let this go as a mistake due to the multiple others he took of mine. We decided to go ahead and use his services. It's now been three months and many phone calls later and here I sit still dealing with rats. There is no since of urgency on their end at all. They got paid and walked away. I spoke to his wife at the office and she assured me that my issue would be resolved but all that happens is that they show up, put on a show and leave. Set up an appt for possible issue. THREE WEEKS TIL FIRST available appointment. Dave? shows up an hour late, no phone call. I leave for an appointment I told him I had in 30 min. He states he may not be able to finish inspection (which is on exterior of house). I come back, call the main office again and am told since they don't have my email they couldn't send information about the appointment (which is a window of time), and they have the inspection report ready for a $45 fee. Techie did a "hit & miss " bug spray job. When asked to repeat places he had missed. He went through the motion, but i believe the solution was mostly water because of no smell or wetness. Waste of my time and money $ 75.00 read more

This company has a rude pain of person answering calls. She stated they will no give any information out regarding what rodents and treatments are needed. It's clear they are just wanting money and don't care what people deal with. I would never have a person with that tone of voice answering the phone. So rude and very UNHELPFUL. Dave always comes quickly when needed and is vigilant about the traps he sets. He takes great care when sealing spaces and comes to investigate sounds when I hear them. I am pest free both in attic and basement thanks to Dave. And, he is a supper nice guy and he supports neighborhood activities. read more

Dave came out to quote us on some work that needed to be done on my elderly mothers home. He seemed nice at first then acted a little odd after we agreed to push forward with the work. We paid the deposit and thought we would get on schedule soon. We was then told it would be three weeks out after he left. We called to cancel service but the lady at the office, Jessica I believe, was very rude seemed to be clueless as to what was going on in the company. We finally were moved closer to what was originally agreed upon to get the job done. I decided to google the owners name and found some very questionable things including arrest for theft. I would recommend to anyone using this company to do your homework first. read more

Dave came out and did a through inspection of our home. We had multiple issues (carpenter bees, roof rats, mosquitos:). He thoroughly explained the various treatment options. We ultimately decided to only address the most pressing problems at the time (i.e. Rats), but appreciated that Dave did not try to push his services and respected our budget limitations as well as our decision to forego mosquito treatment due to my wife's concern for her garden. If we decide to move forward with other treatments, I plan on calling Dave again. As a side note, the treatment he used for the rats in the attic was super quick and effective, and did require any traps or dead rats--the rats essentially skadattled on their own :) read more

Don't walk but run....technician showed up on time for the initial appointment. I had a squirrel in the attic and evidence of a rat problem. Once the problem was determined and the treatment was agreed upon, the date for treatment was set and I paid a deposit over $500 dollars. One hour before the work was to begin, I get a call from the company and informed they would need to reschedule. Rescheduled date was set..guess what no show and no call! I called and cancel to service and requested my deposit back. Here I am a month after the initial appointment and still do not have my $532 deposit back! read more
