I can't recommend Southern Wildlife & Southern Pest Management, LLC highly enough! From my first call, they were incredibly responsive, kind, and easy to work with. Bruce went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. He did a phenomenal job not only getting rid of the critters that had found their way into our home but also sealing up the outside to make sure nothing could get back in. Bruce's professionalism and deep knowledge of his field were beyond impressive. He patiently explained every step of the process, and I learned so much just from chatting with him. On top of being an expert in his field, he was also a joy to have around--such a personable and friendly guy! I was also impressed by the level of communication from the company, even when winter weather and road closures presented challenges. They kept me updated every step of the way, which made the entire experience stress-free. As a family-owned company, their care and dedication to their customers really stood out. The pricing was very fair for the extensive work they provided, and I appreciated the value they delivered. Even though I live in Roswell, GA, Bruce sometimes made the trip from Blue Ridge or Dawsonville to get to us, showing how committed they are to their wide service area. If you suspect critters have made their way into your home, don't wait--call Southern Wildlife & Southern Pest Management, LLC. They brought peace back to our home (a much better solution than my wife's initial reaction of "burn it down, I'm going to a hotel!"). Thank you, Bruce and team, for everything! read more

Thank goodness for this company and their outstanding expertise. Not only do they do an outstanding job. Job but their communication skills are excellent. Love these guys. Bats be gone! read more

Came out an hour after I called to remove a dead deer. They were exactly on time and did a quick easy job. Every other company I called gave me problems or wouldn't call back. Would recommend to everyone who needs a service done! read more

Last year a neighbor referred me to Southern Wildlife Management for an ongoing snake issue. Which I am extremely terrified of snakes and want no part of it. They are a family business and took the time to explain the entire process, which I had to ask so many questions and they were not bothered by any of it on top of me being so dramatic they were soothing, reassuring and made sure my expectations were I. Line and realistic. Love the communication, love their prices. I have found their program to be a tremendous success to the point where I have added on carpenter bee control & even had them this spring deal with moles that destroy my yard! I am so glad that I have found this company. Thanks for all you do! Definitely referred y'all to my family! read more

I had a great experience with Southern Wildlife. They came out to my property on the same day I called, placed a few non-harmful traps with peanut butter and other safe bait, and caught a possum that had been visiting our yard every day that very same night. Bruce was a pleasure to work with and the price was reasonable. I would recommend Bruce and Southern Wildlife Management. read more

This family business is so patient and tolerant working with us. We have a vacation home and it had issues with rodents. We have tried with other companies and they failed. Southern Wildlife Management said it would not be a problem and it wasn't for them. Great prices. They got the problem resolved. read more

Update: had another dead deer removed today. Spoke with Verron when I called and received excellent customer service. Elle was dispatched to pick up the remains and was personable and professional. The text communication was great! I REALLY appreciate that there is a good company close by that does this sort of work. read more

Critical: Responsiveness Met my expectations by capturing 7 chipmunks and a squirrel even relocated to their property. Here are my concerns: Was not happy with communication with Techs was unaware of my end date and was surprised when all traps were taken. Suggest either text message or phone mail msg confirming last day of services. Was not happy with sarcastic communication with Ms. Vernon regarding my texting techs at end of day informing them of the animals trapped and being accused of romping around the traps when I clearly saw the cage was closed and an animal was inside. Also be aware how to open and close traps as we had a bird caught and upon release were informed we broke the trap. I feel $350 was a lot of money for this process especially when you can purchase the traps from Ace Hardware for $19.99 put honey, peanut butter and some corn and relocate the critters to the woods yourself. This was a learning experience for me. In my 30 years as a business professional I've learned the customer is always right and should be treated with respect not condemned for honest feedback. read more

I had a raccoon that had been coming in my house through the cat door for months. I knew I wanted it trapped but was concerned that my cat ( inside/outside) would be the one trapped instead. Rick and Verron worked with me to use a bait that would not attract my cat or my neighbors cat. Southern Wildlife trapped and relocated two raccoons and I am enjoying peace in my house again. I recommend them without reservation. Southern Wildlife was prompt, attentive and very professional. I have a new lease on life thanks to Rick and Verron. read more

Southern Wildlife has been great help at our apartment community! They are very knowledgeable about the work that they do, are always willing to give us genuine recommendations on the next steps and never have an issue coming out as soon as possible. We really enjoy working with Verron, Bruce, and the team at Southern Wildlife. read more

Saved the day again. This is one of the most well run family owned, knowledgeable companies ive come across. They removed a GIANT hornet nest for me a few years back and I was so happy to know who to call when I heard the scamper of unsettlingly large critter sounds coming from my crawlspace. Turns out we have the rat king and his minions running around trying to make a new ratdom... i called and they were able to fit me into the schedule quickly. Bruce came out and I showed him where I had seen and heard the sounds, he explained to me what i had, what they were attracted to and the plan to get them gone. To my huuuuge relief, I havent heard any scampering since. Miracle workers!! I cant thank them enough. Honest reliable and affordable. THANK YOU. read more

Prompt, very professional, reasonably priced and thorough.... I have used them 3 times in the last 2 months.

What a great team! These team will answer the phone. Shows up as promised. Experts in what they do. Highly recommend.

We came home from vacation and found a wasp nest hanging under our roof. We called during the 4th of July weekend. They got right back with us and made arrangements to handle the problem on the day after the holiday. They showed up as planned, handled the problem and came in under their estimate. The guys were friendly, knowledgable and efficient. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. read more

The customer service at Southern Wildlife Management is impeccable!! They came out quick and really went above and beyond their call of duty. I had what I thought was a small nest of baby rats and it turned out to be a few litters of baby rats in my outside rabbit cage. Chad and Bruce are extremely friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. When I called for a quote, it was exactly what they said it was going to be when the job was done. I have to say after reading the reviews, they truly are an outstanding company and deserve 5 full stars PLUS so many more. If you want a company that has great customer service and they are knowledge about wildlife, this is definitely the company you want to hire! :-) read more

My pinestraw guys found and killed a four foot copperhead snake in my backyard (a mere 10-15 ft away from my back door) around 2pm. I called southern wildlife management around 4:30pm to come take a peak and make sure there weren't anymore snakes out there and if they could locate their home. Bruce was at my house by 5pm AFTER he had already gone home for the day. The woman I spoke to on the phone was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She could tell I was freaked out and did her very best to get someone out to my house ASAP. Bruce was here so fast and poked around my front and backyard for 30 minutes. He is also very knowledgeable and was so helpful. I highly recommend this company!!! read more

We do not recommend this company. They accepted our job without having the equipment to effectively complete it. If we had known they did not have a tall ladder, we never would have hired them. read more

I just had work done on my property to have a FEW bat removed. Work quality is okay, but it's GROSSLY OVERPRICED. I called first and was told the trapping and entry way sealing is $400 to $1500, depending on the number of bats and 3 or 4 bats should cost that much. Guano cleanup is $150 and upwards to who know how much. But if I choose not to go with them they will charge $125 inspection fee. I have only 4 bats in between the one gable vent and the mesh behind. There is no trapping involved. So I thought how expensive could it be? Bruce came and did the inspection and quoted $2000 for removal of one bat (3 other bat family members were out hunting at the time, he only needed to chase this one out, there is no trapping involved), put up mesh barrier outside the three gable vents and cleanup the guano. I usually checked around but somehow didn't this time. It took him two hour to do the job. I don't have to ask around for quote to know that is this is at least double what others would charge. I recently had portion of my gutter replaced that took a lot more materials and same amount of work (2 man hours) and cost me only $450. Don't be taken like me by this company. read more

Paid $450 up front for removal of mole(s) from my small front yard. They assured me they would remove the mole infestation quickly and easily. They did not. They first came out in early November and visited my front yard a total of 4 or 5 times. The first few visits were setting and resetting 4 totally infective traps, nothing caught by any trap. Then there was a visit to 'smoke out' the mole tunnels, totally infective just like the trapping. Finally bait was set in 4 locations with the promise of a final visit after Thanksgiving. No one has visited or contacted me since. Looks like the mole proved too much for Southern Wildlife. read more

This company is fantastic! We thought we had heard animals in the attic, but our housekeeper confronted "a big, big, big mouse" upstairs in one of the bedrooms. We called Southern Wildlife immediately and Bruce and Chad showed up within an hour! Both men were very professional and courteous. We did the original one week program, but decided we never wanted rats again, so got the exclusion service, whereby they sealed every entrance into the attic. In the process, we got rid of 13 rats! Verron is honest, conscientious and accommodating...and we would highly recommend Southern Wildlife to anyone with an issue. Several years ago they removed a huge hornet nest from our house. We had initially called our pest company and said they couldn't be here for days. Then I remembered Southern Wildlife and gave them a call, and as I said they were here within an hour! Superb customer service and totally honest and respectful. They're the best. read more

We had a large bald faced hornet's nest that was too close to our side door, and we needed to have it removed. Rick came out the very next day and was very professional and thorough. They offered an extremely reasonable price - my regular exterminator asked for almost twice what they were charging! Rick was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me, and let me know what to expect in the next few days. I won't hesitate to call them again for ANY wildlife or pest removal. I highly recommend them! Thank you so much for all of your help! :) read more

I discovered a huge hornets nest in my tree in front of my house. I called Southern Wildlife Management and they were out the next day to take care of it. They were awesome. I would recommend these guys to anyone in need of "critter" services. Price was awesome too. Thanks again... read more

We were Initially quoted $500 - $700 for bat removal from our attic. And it up being $2800 after they kept adding on all the special stipulations. the bats are now gone and they were good throughout the process. However they also assured me they check the attic for any other holes that creatures could get into. And put a warrantee on their work. We are now having some other pests in the attic and they're saying it's not bats in the attic so that's not covered by the warranty. Though I was specifically told they checked the attic for for other ways creatures could get in and sealed for everything not just bats. I feel like they are the type of company that will nickel and dime you. And use their scientific terminology to get extra money out of you and make you feel like you have no choice but to pay the crazy prices. I would definitely get a second or third quote before using them read more

I had a dead deer in my yard. Called Southern Wildlife around 9:00 AM and by 12:00 they had come and removed it. They were very responsive and professional. I hope to never have a need for their services again, but if I did I would definitely use them. read more

Price was below what I thought for the amount of work done! If you need help, call them!!! read more

A Great Company!! We had a ton of bees in a column on our front porch. I was very concerned about my children getting stung since it was so close to the front door. Verron was so incredibly helpful in trying to leverage every means possible - including using a picture of my home from the internet - to determine the extent of my problem, where the problem was, and what kind of bees I had. She did everything she could to help me not spend more than necessary. What company wants to make sure you don't have to spend more than you should??!?! She was very through in explaining the charges. She was also very through in explaining that if the bees were honeybees and not yellow jackets that they would need to be removed and not sprayed. A more complicated procedure, which I completely understood. The USDA estimates that the honeybee populations are less than half what they were in 1940. DO NOT KILL THE HONEYBEES!! Unfortunately, when I was at work, a contractor working in my home sprayed the nest. Unfortunately they were honeybees. What you would expect a company who does pest control to say is ok, we will cancel your appointment. Instead she was upset about the loss of the bees. If you want a critter removed and you want a company that truly cares about you and about that critter. Call them. I will never call another company other than Southern Wildlife Management. read more

Last October (2017) I had Southern Wildlife Management come out to take care of squirrel infestation in two separate areas of my roof. They had to set traps out around my yard and were able to capture 2 female squirrels before starting work. After determining they would not be able to capture more they then went around my roof sealing all areas where squirrels could get in, or so I thought. I paid what I thought was a fair price for the work done. I then had a company come out and clean out all the old insulation in my attic and replace it with new insulation at a cost of almost $3,000. Just recently I heard a noise in the attic in two places where I had heard they squirrels before. I had SWM come out again because they have a one time free inspection to determine if squirrels have gotten in on their work. The two men that came out inspected inside and said they couldn't determine if they were in the attic because of all the new insulation, so went outside to the roof and found where they had chewed on a pvc vent pipe, but also found another place they had missed under my soffit they had missed when doing the work last year. They charged me another $175 to fix it on top of the almost $2,000 I paid to have the work done before. I was very upset as I felt they should have seen the place before and fixed it then, plus the chance of having squirrels back in my attic with all the new clean insulation. They would have received a 5 star from me up until recently. If you have work done by they make sure you add a clause in there that if they have to come back because of their mistake, there is no charge. Pat M. read more

We contracted with this company in 2013 for a rat exclusion, we had to call out another company to properly seal our home. The new company found many holes and gaps left by the technicians. Your money is better spent elsewhere as they do not honor their warranty. read more

Reasonable prices, very friendly service. It doesn't get better than this!

Beware. Much cheaper options for identical service. And I mean identical-I carefully went through the quote process with each of the competitive companies. By cheaper I mean 1/3 price using identical materials and methods and providing similar warranty. And the other two companies I called out after my wife sent these guys away with my $175 inspection fee check in their pocket did NOT charge me to come give estimates. read more

Will NOT recommend to friends or family. Sloppy work! The loud technician reeked off cigarette smoke that probably spooked the squirrels in the attic; they charged (almost double) for not catching them. Also company address shows Johns Creek but the company is located in Dawsonville which caused us to be at house at random times for the technicians to check on the traps. Be sure to shop around... read more

I stand by my previous review of this company. Statements made in the rebuttal, specifically that two guys were sent out to my home and did not charge for an estimate and that a trip fee was not charged either shows clearly the company's business practices. My 1 star review rating stands and as they say, if you cannot take the heat, get out of the kitchen. read more

Southern Wildlife Management to the rescue! After spotting a bat perched under our deck, I called SWM on a Saturday late afternoon. I was provided with details of what they could do to help me, and what I may or may not be facing after their inspection. There was an inspection charge, but it would be applied to any service work they might have to do. The service was well worth the service charge. They worked me into their schedule, and two reps came out. They did a thorough check in the attic and found no evidence of any intrusion, and were able to remove the one bat from under the deck. Bats are supposed to be good for the environment; but I would just as soon that it be someone else's environment--not mine. THANK YOU SOUTHERN WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT! read more

We had a bat that somehow got into my bedroom and refused to leave!! After waking up to the bat in my room I had my daughter try to find it in the day light with no luck. She had a technician from Southern Wildlife Management LLC come out and look for it, but he too couldn't find it! That night sure enough the bat woke up and started to wreak havoc again! It was 1:30 in the morning and we were desperate to get this bat out so I could sleep. We called the wonderful people at Southern Wildlife Management LLC and they were so kind so send someone out to come hand remove this bat from my room. I cannot begin to tell you how great this company was to us. They sent a technician out at 2 in the morning!!! I would not wish for anyone to need wildlife removal, but if you ever DO need it I would recommend Southern Wildlife Management LLC a hundred times over. Great company, great employees, great to the animals, and great to the customers. read more
