If the kitchen was backed up, that's understandable -- but the lack of accommodation, empathy, or even basic courtesy made us feel unwelcome. I can't speak to the food because we never got the chance to try it, but based on customer service alone, I wouldn't recommend this place -- especially to families or out-of-town visitors.

We have loved going here since our college aged boy was a toddler. The food is consistently amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. Best hot and sour soup on Earth, best pho, best Vietnamese dishes. Although their Chinese and Vietnamese food is the best on the Northshore, the owners and workers are what keeps this place consistently the best. You're always greeted with a smile, and your glass is always full. The people who run this place work harder than any family I've ever seen and deserve every loyal customer they have. Everything tastes hot, so delicious, and this just never varies. I couldn't recommend an eatery more. Great for kids, families, big groups or small. Even pick up orders are always 100% accurate and meticulously packed. I just love this place. read more

I love this restaurant!! The people are all family and very sweet. The food is fresh & delicious! They know me by name I go so often! I order at least once a week. I always forget thou that they are closed on Sunday & Monday. Of course, that's when I want to eat their Chinese food. I try to order something different each time, but end up ordering my favorite especially Friday's lunch special Honey Chicken. Very clean too! My family and I went here on Saturday night. The food wad good but the service was terrible. It took forever for the food to start arriving. When the food did start to show up, it came out one at a time. There were five of us at the restaurant. It was probably 20 minutes between the time the first and last plates arrived. The soup was delicious, Hot 'n Sour is my favorite and every restaurant's is different. I then got to my eggroll, OMG! It was finger licking good! I devoured it and have to stop myself from eating the other to leave room from my other food. Once that arrived, I truly enjoyed every bite. You don't receive as large of portion as most restaurant I frequent, but it was plenty enough and there were leftover. I am glad I have found my go to Chinese spot in Slidell now. I will try to have some self control and not stop in for eggrolls every time I am in the area. Our waitress was so sweet, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is nice and quaint.
