I informed the service advisor, Jonathan, that I did not need a diagnosis and only wanted the specific service I originally requested. He then informed me that they could not get my car to crank and run. What!! My immediate response was to describe my vehicle to him to ensure he had the correct car, because my car runs and cranks every single time. I explained that I was confused and didn't understand the issue since I had just driven the vehicle to the dealership myself, and suggested they must have the wrong vehicle. I think Jonathan completely ignored my comment. But, you know how something can be so outlandish you have to ask yourself if its actually happening? Is this guy just ignoring me? Throughout my interactions with Jonathan, I clearly understood that he indeed ignores me/ does not respond. He responds to me when it suits him--specifically when he was quoting prices or when I was agreeing to pay for additional services... When I expressed my valid concern regarding how a vehicle that arrived in running condition was suddenly inoperable, he completely ignored me/did not answer, not one word. So now that I seen this, I had no desire to escalate the matter or argue; I am a busy person with a lot going on in my life. I simply wanted the requested service completed, to pay my bill and leave. Even though I paid more than double the money I still left with and Inoperable Vehicle: A car that I drove onto your lot had to be towed away because it was no longer running. Unprofessionalism: When I got into my car, there were loose car parts left on the seat and floor. The vehicle had not been reassembled. They did not even have the decency to put the vehicle back together. When I asked Jonathan to have the technicians reassemble it, guess what. He ignored me yet again/did not answer, not one single word. I just walked out and had my vehicle towed away. Unacceptable Delays: A service that should have taken a single day took approximately two and a half months. I received absolutely no apology for the delays, the terrible communication, or the fact that I had to tow my own vehicle off your lot. This level of customer service is entirely unacceptable. I never would have considered buying a car from a little place on the side of the road but it turned out GREAT! I was shown a few cars that were too small but they said they had one being serviced and would be getting it back the next morning. That car turned out to be the one I purchased. He spoke directly with the manager, Damon, who repeatedly described the car as being in "excellent" and "near-perfect" condition. My son lives in North Carolina and, based on those assurances and some selective video footage (but no close-up photos), he put down a $1,000 deposit on a Monday to hold the car. Before sending the deposit, he specifically asked if the vehicle had any paint flaws, rock chips, or dings. He was told there were none. Despite requesting close-up images, none were provided. He spent $800 flying to Texas to see the car in person and arrived Wednesday morning -- just two days later. What he found was not what was represented: the car had noticeable rock chips across the front, visible wires hanging out, and multiple trim pieces missing. None of this was disclosed beforehand, and none of it appeared in the images or videos shared. Because of the condition of the vehicle -- which was clearly not "near perfect" -- he declined to go through with the purchase. Damon then informed him that the $1,000 deposit would not be refunded because they had held the car "too long." Two days, for an out-of-state buyer, is not excessive by any fair standard. This experience cost my son $1,800 between the non-refundable deposit and travel, and it stemmed from what we believe was a clear misrepresentation of the vehicle's condition. We are sharing this in good faith based on a real experience so others -- especially those buying from out of state -- can make informed decisions. We were later threatened with legal action if this review wasn't removed. In our opinion, honest feedback shouldn't be silenced. Buy with caution. While calling around, I spoke with two employees at this shop, a woman and a gentlemen who I imagine was the owner or manager. For simply looking or asking for help, I was berated for owning an electric car, despite needing service that is fairly typical on most cars. The phrase "it's your own fault for purchasing that car, you know what you're getting into" is not something I imagine someone who needs help should hear in a time of need. I understand I may have been a bit needless as we were trying to solve our problem, but I did not expect this degree of treatment or discrimination for owning a particular type of vehicle. They were also very unwilling to help when I was hoping for any referral or recommendations on how I might be able to get my brake pads replaced. Ultimately, I was left without help and feeling even worse than when I began the call. Would not recommend for service. Absolutely would not recommend if you own an EV. Tesla owners especially, this is exactly where you'll find people willing to make you feel bad about your purchase. Unless you perfectly fit the "profile" for the type of work they do, go elsewhere. I imagine you might get better treatment.
