Staying in town to pick up my hunting teen and needed a place to grab a bite. With one restaurant and a coffee shop, there's not a lot of options. Thankfully, this place has good food. There's a front diner that appears to be more of the breakfast side and then a bar in the back with pool tables and places to sit and eat. I was here on a Sunday night and it was packed with locals and even had live music. I ordered my food to go and had a drink while I waited. As a single gal traveling it can be awkward sitting at the bar by yourself and I especially felt that here. People are polite and courteous but no one talks to you. The Sunday night special is fish and chips and were really tasty. Everything made in house. And the house red is Josh Cellars Cabernet so that was nice. read more

We are not trying to be harsh with our rating, but we are being realistic of our experience for those Not from the area. We enjoy finding and supporting local establishments, but this time it failed us. If we hadn't been so hungry and needing a break we would have moved on shortly after arriving. It wasn't super clear where to enter, then no staff in the main restaurant and despite the sign saying go to the bar it wasn't clear where to get to the bar. I ended up asking a customer what to do when he said the only wait staff person was coming out of porch area. We needed to sit outside with our dog, but as we sat outside we had to deal with non-stop flies everywhere which we didn't expect. We had to swat flies while eating. It was very upsetting that a customer thought it best to come from the bar to smoke on the patio where everyone was eating instead of easily going to the parking lot. Our server definitely had a pleasant personality, but lacked experienced server skills. We had to initiate the conversation to get seated, where to bring in the dog since there wasn't outside porch access and also had to get our own utensils from the main dining room. The food was good enough, but expected more flavor from the menu descriptions We had the grilled chicken sandwich, BBQ Ham & Swiss, Ruben (the substitute for the Chicago-Style Italian Beef we all really wanted) and we had 2 orders of the Sweet Potato Fries & Coleslaw. The BBQ Ham & Swiss on the Pretzel bun was the surprise winner along with the and the Sweet Potato Fries were the favorites amongst the four of us. Again, I'll finish with that we probably were not the type of customers today to appreciate the establishment given our long day of driving with much more to go. We've had lunch several times at this small restaurant in the ranching town of Crawford. We made reservations for the 2:30 seating on Thanksgiving, and are we glad we did! It was a gorgeous, sunny day for the drive from Grand Junction, and the food was fantastic. All the dishes you'd expect for this all-American holiday, but just cheffed up enough without getting weird. For $35, we'll go back next year too! read more

This was the only restaurant in Crawford that was open till 8 pm for dinner. There's plenty seating indoor, on the deck and at the bar area. It was open mick that evening. We got the boardwalk black and blue burger with fries and coleslaw along with a couple beers. It was delicious! We got the Apple strudel to go, yumm. read more

This place has not gotten any better since Tiffany and Joe owned it. We just got a pick order there today, and it sucked. My husband had to cook our raw burgers to well done like we ordered. Our daughter's chicken was pink. Our fries were cold and soggy. What makes me wonder how this happened when my husband had to wait for our food? The staff was whispering to eachother about how my husband parked since they said our food would be ready in 15 minutes and it wasn't so they rather talk shit then be nice. For $58 for 3 meals and frozen patties is such a disgrace for our valley. This place sucks. I do NOT recommend this shit hole!!!! read more

The wife and I got a cute bus air B&B just outside of town. Was awesome. Went into town for breakfast here I ordered biscuits and gravy. I'm very picky about how they are made. They did not disappoint me at all!! The biscuit homemade. And jazzed up the gravy but not to much. After that went to the package meat store in Delta. Cooked our huge steak and went back to the boardwalk for some great drinks and karaoke. On Saturdays they do steak dinners. I had the sirloin and it was so good and tender, I had it Medium. Salad was like a gourmet chef salad even had Greek olives. It also was cut up not a glob of greens in a bowl! Baked potato was perfect, tender. Desert was cobbler and I was so full I had to take to go. But so good even later. Stopped in here on a Friday night and it was fantastic. We ordered poppers and the black and blue burger with a green salad. The poppers we not the frozen variety often seen at bars and pubs but looked homemade and were delicious. The burger was spot on with blu cheese, bacon, and onion rings. The salad was better than fresh and included peppers, olives, mushrooms, tomatoes, and cucumbers. cold beer and great service- what is not to like? So glad to find this place.
